Purchased a **** ***** *** in Late ******** **** when I was visiting from out of state. I traded in my current vehicle and was told I would need to ship my title for the trade in once returning to ** for them to send me my title for the new truck. I overnighted the title for the trade in and and followed up ever since to get my title. Will, apparent Finance Manager told us it was arriving on Wed, **** finally after serval attempts to get him to send it. Well that day has passed. Ive followed up everyday since for an update to which he says he will call me back but never does. He is also now claiming I didnt have insurance which is false as you cannot purchase a vehicle without insurance, once returning home I switched insurance and sent him that updated information so not sure where he is getting this information - you can also see proof on the insurance cards themselves proving insurance coverage- This is AFTER he told us it had already been sent in fact was already suppose to arrive as it was now ***. Now he is claiming it was shipped to "***" refuses to give anymore information- I asked him which *** he responds with its not his problem. I now have a vehicle with no title and cannot get plates. I need this rectified immediately. If it was mailed as you say it should have tracking or at the bare minimum you should be able to provide the address of which you sent it.Initial Complaint

On, December *, 2024 I purchased a 20** Mitsubishi ******* ***** I wasn't really satisfied with the car or how the sale went. On, the next morning which was December *, 2024
I got up me and my daughter started looking over the contract and what the sales manager stated to me about the car sale was not what was on the contract. The assistant sales manager Mr. S**** stated the interest rate would be just a little high @17% interest. but what was on the contract was 27% interest and that I traded in a 20** *****, and I have never owned a ***** a day in my life. Also, that I put all this money down and I only had $2000 but they put down $4,500., I called Augusta Mitsubishi to let them know that I was returning the car. I spoke to the salesmen Mr. B****, who stated that the finance manager was not there and that I have 3 business days from the date the car was driven off the lot to return the vehicle and that I have only had the car for one day and if I wanted to return the car just do it tomorrow when the finance manager would be there.... I said okay, later on that that night I get a phone call from the assistant manager Mr. S****, saying to me what's this I hear that you're bringing the car back and I said yes that's correct and I will talk about it tomorrow and proceeded to hang up the phone, on December *, 2024, my daughter and I went back to the dealership to return the 20** Mitsubishi *******. Mr. S**** came into the office and just flat out said that they were not taking the car back because the finance company has already paid them for the loan. I went on to say to Mr. S****, even if the finance company did send over the check, I only had the car for two days. Mr. S**** replied saying at this lot once you buy a vehicle you cannot bring it back for any reason. I replied saying that's not what your salesmen Mr. B**** stated to me on the phone,

We do understand that the process has been frustrating for Mr. ********. We have verified that the registration paperwork has been received in his home state, we do not have a way to speed up that particular process unfortunately. We have discussed with Mr. ******** the spare tire and let him know that the spare tire was as is, but we would see if we had one that could be used we where more than happy to let him have it. We do apologize to Mr. ******** for any mis calls on our behalf, to which we will reach at the given times to the customer. We appreciate your business, please let us know if there is anything else we can do.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:I am constantly getting a feedback loop with responses for my inquiry about my registration, I am at risk of my interest rate increasing if my bank does not get the Title.

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Mitsubishi of Augusta regarding the purchase of a 2018 ***** ****** on June 11, 2024. My experience with this dealership has been exceedingly disappointing, and I seek your assistance in resolving this matter.
Since purchasing the vehicle, I have only been able to drive it for approximately 15-20 days out of the 42 days I have owned it. The car has been returned to the dealership multiple times for repairs, totaling $4800.00 paid to ***** for issues found. Despite these efforts, the vehicle continues to have unresolved problems, including a significant computer malfunction.
During my last visit to the dealership, I encountered another customer experiencing similar issues, which suggests a pattern of inadequate servicing and questionable sales practices at this dealership. It has come to my attention that the vehicle, as well as others, were not properly serviced before being sold.
As a single mother who relies on dependable transportation for myself and my children, this situation has caused considerable stress and inconvenience. I have sought advice from my finance company, and they recommended requesting a contract resend. However, the dealership refused this request and instead suggested a trade-in that would require an additional $3000.00, which is not feasible for me.
I have made multiple attempts to resolve this matter directly with Mitsubishi of Augusta, but I have only received evasive responses and no satisfactory resolution. Therefore, I am requesting the BBB's assistance to address the following:
• Ensure that all outstanding issues with the vehicle are resolved immediately and at no additional cost to me.
• Facilitate a reconsideration of the contract resend, as advised by my finance company.
• Alternatively, secure a full refund of the purchase price if the vehicle cannot be made reliable and safe to drive.
I hope the BBB can help mediate this situation and ensure a fair resolution.
Thank you for helpBusiness Response

To Whom It Concern,
We sold this car AS IS on June11th 2024. The car had 110k miles when we sold it. We offered her an extended warranty on the car for a fair price. The customer declined to purchase it. After the sale the customer came back with mechanical issues complaining. We decided to fix it at our expense to help them. The cost was around $4800. She did not pay it we did. We did this because we felt it was the right thing to do, so my question is when does our responsibility end and hers begin which includes all future repairs? That responsibility transfers to the new owner the day the customer signed paperwork and drove the car off our lot. They have now owned the car for almost two months. We will not be making any additional repairs to the vehicle. We will be happy to appraise the vehicle and look at buying this unit from this customer based on fair market value.

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because:I test drove the car with a sales agent the car came straight
off the truck, and it was said that it had to go to get the PDI off the car that’s
why all the lights were on in the dash. As I was testing driving the car I was
naming everything that was going on with the car I was reassured that it was
just the PDI that’s why it was like that, and it was going to clear once they
took it to the shop. I wasn’t offered an extended warranty until after the car
had to be put in the shop for the second time after the papers were signed. I
was also told I had to purchase it on my own and it was nothing in that paperwork
about any extended warranty (why wouldn't I get the extended warranty if was offer at POS). At this point I just ask them can they just send
the funds back over to ********* and keep the car (that is what ********* recommended when reached out to them about what was
going on with the car) The dealer said they couldn’t do that and that’s not
something they do. At that point of course I was assured once again that everything
was going to be fixed on the car they was taking it to ***** dealership ( AFTER
TAKING IT TO THEIR CHOICE OF AUTO REPAIR SHOP and had it for a week ) and
that everything in the car was going to be good (this was only after me having the
car for a couple days after getting it back from the PDI check supposedly. Well
upon receiving the vehicle back from the dealer, which was on 07/04/2024 so they
had the car 6/26/2024 – 07/04/2024 it sat at the dealer for 2 days the 24th and
25th of June before they even took it to the dealer COMMUICATION IS BAD AS WELL.
I told Donvon S**** that the car still had something going on with it. He even went
on to say if he knew all of that was going on he wouldn’t even sold the car. At
that point was told to take the car back to the dealer and let them know what
was going on mind you the whole brake system done came on I have proof of all
this information at that. Went to the dealer off the fact the dealer told me to
go back and take it back to them. Lady in
service wanted 195.00 to re diagnose the car again to see what was making it do
that (mind you if it was anything that was supposedly got fix it was on the dealer)
D. Stone stated that he need to talk to Robert about the 195.00 and stated that
it was nothing they could do because they already paid to get everything fixed
( I only took it up there because after I said whatever to the issues I’ll just
trade the car in and go from there they wanted me to put down 3000.00 $ and I
needed a co-signer I went from getting a car no money down and no cosigner to needing
one to get out of the ***** 2018 . The
question is why I should be responsible for the issues with the car that was sold
off the fact they were going to get it service? IT WAS POOR SERCIVE FROM THE BEGINNGIN CAUSE
HOW YOU NOT KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON WHEN IT WAS TOOK TO THE 1ST SHOP.
I guess because I am a young lady they were going to play with me, and they did
just that now I’m stuck with a car that I cant even trade in at this point. I
just need the world to know DO NOT PURCAHSE A CAR FROM THEM ROBERT HE IS OVER
THE SALES MANG. ( Donovan S**** ) AND SALES TEAM HE MONEY HUNGRY AND HE IS NOT
THEIR TO HELP YOU HE IS FOR HIM AND ONLY HIM HE DON’T EVEN CARE FOR THE SALES
TEAM HE HAVE UNDER HIM . BE AWARE OF THE CARS THEY ARE SELLING THEY ARE REALLY
LEMONS DO NOT PURCHASE. THEY ARE LIARS TO ESPECIALLY THAT DONVON S**** .
Sincerely,

Purchase the Vehicle on ***** **, the Vehicle had Pre-condition. Such as all four speakers being out. The was recent issues with the check service light that kept appearing on the day the vehicle was purchased. I didn’t get to test drive the vehicle I have been back I Have been Fourth with them about the issues. I feel as though something is being hidden. The rewrote my contract and bright the pricing of the car down after the 3rd day of me complaining about the issues and going up there. The sales rep that sold me the vehicle was fired and he advised me. He was fired due to issues with my car. I was advised originally the car would be taking to ******. They didn’t have a time frame for me so I took upon myself and set the appointment with ******. For the GM To tell me he never approved when you was the original one who advised he will have the sales rep to look at it. However he was fired within that same week. I was told to get and estimate and we would go from there. Now I’m being told something else. ****** has been trying to contact them being that I was working with a gentleman there. Who was nice enough to try to help. I was advised by Duwane he would follow up on Monday of yesterday. Never received a follow up I return back to the dealer on today. Spoke with GENERAL MANAGER Will J****** who was very rude. Told me he wish not to keep talking about the issue. Since it’s after the purchase date then he advised he will have the speaker fixed by some at a cheaper price and not ****** since he have spend money doing the diagnostic test. When I had already took it to a local mechanic tires plus. To have the codes clear he then went to being very rude when I ask home a time frame he said he don’t know he is in the middle of purchasing other cars. I wait at the dealer for 8 hrs to not have the issues resolved. The customer services was poor I read in my paid off vehicle for this 2020 ****** ****** and to be treated like I wrong is unacceptable.Initial Complaint

Approximately 2 weeks ago on November **** my husband took his 2015 ********** ****** to the ********** dealership to inquire about a possible recall on the transmission because he had been having issues. He dropped the car off on Sunday and on Wednesday November **** he had not heard from anyone in the service department about his car. When he called the dealership they told him they didn't know it had been dropped off and needed work although my husband already conveyed this information when he arranged to drop it off. The service center didn't check the transmission or put the car on a machine and run a diagnostic test until AFTER they had replaced the oxygen sensor, which most likely did not need replacing. When my husband picked the car up on Friday November **** it was having the exact same issues as before,it was missing a hubcap and, and a decal from his rear window was missing. When my husband asked for the old oxygen sensor the service center told him they threw it away. The service center was very unprofessional, disorganized, and allowing people that did not work at the dealership to walk around in the service area. We paid $739.70 for them to do nothing because the work they did was unnecessary and not correct. Nor did they offer to replace the hubcap that was stolen.Initial Complaint

On ******** I purchased a vehicle for my daughter who is in the military. They claimed the interest rate was 11%. They stated the lender was ***********. They prepared the paperwork and had us sign. The rate is listed as 17%. There is no lender listed. They added in a service contract that we did not ask for. They are refusing to provide us with copies of any documents we signed.
