    I dropped off my dryer about four weeks ago at Howard’s Appliance after speaking with the older gentleman in the sales room that they were certified to work on ****** dryer. He assured me that they knew what they were doing. I told him that I had previously taken it to another certified technician to repair the the dryer and they were unsuccessful. He did say we have the best workers and we can definitely attempt to fix it.
    I proceeded with by dropping the dryer off for the repair. The female cashier lady called me a few days later to inform me that it needed timer and switch in order to proceed with its diagnostic. She told it would be $285 for this including parts and labor. I told her is there anyway you can check this for me without me paying as I had already spent money to get it fixed previously. She said they couldn’t. I proceeded with paying them for this. This diagnostic went on for three weeks and I would call frequently to check for updates.
    Everytime it was something new that they were working and limited staff. Never told me this initially when I initially entered in agreement to get my dryer fixed.
    After waiting for so long she comes back eventually to let me know the technician is recommending replacement. This upset me after I had already told her this was told by me from another repair technician. She said she would check with the other and see if she can get the money i paid out towards a new dryer. I had to come to the shop to find out that they wouldn’t be giving me the full repair cost towards a new dryer after waiting patiently with them for four weeks to get to my dryer and properly diagnosed the issue.
    Do not and I repeat do not do business with this place. When asking for them to return my dryer they tried to return it to my dissembled and it wasn’t after checking them about this issue that they decided to return it to me in the proper condition.

    *** ****** did drop off his dryer for repair, when this dryer was dropped off, it was missing the key parts to diagnosis the appliance. We informed *** ****** that our non-refundable diagnostic fee was $65.00 but he would need parts right away to be able to check the unit completely. he understood and paid the fee. We later called *** ****** with his estimate, to get started it would be 285.00-65.00 (diagnostic fee) =220.00. We informed him once we order these parts, the amount is non-refundable and this dryer could need more parts once these parts are put on and the dryer is rechecked. he was aware and consumed these risks. When we received the parts, rechecked the dryer, it indeed needed more parts and the dryer would be costly to be repaired. we went against our policy to offer *** ****** the amount he paid, as a credit in our store to apply to any purchase of a dryer or other appliance of his choosing. *** ****** came into our store to pick out a new appliance but the appliance he picked out exceed the amount of his credit and he refused to pay the difference. We had multiple options available to purchase under his credit amount if he did not want to pay more, he declined all of those options. We have an impeccable reputation in helping our customers, we tried every outlet to please *** ****** but he did not appreciate our time and dedication to help him solve his issue.
