I signed on with QOINS in 2019/2020 to help pay down my debt by using their round up option. I was very happy with them in the beginning. They made the extra payments and everything went great. That is, until they decided to do a merger with another company. Then everything went down hill. My money and account got locked. I couldnt add money or take money out. I got with QOINS help support and got a round about answer stating they were working on it and that they were sorry for the inconvenience. Even though my account was locked and I couldnt add/take money from my account they still took out $4.99 a month for their subscription they offered. For a couple of months I would email them asking for the $4.99 to be refunded to me since my account was locked and I couldnt use it. They would reply and refund my money, but after about 6-9 months they stopped responding and stopped refunding the $4.99. I then would send them emails asking to cancel the subscriptions and to release my money. They said that it was the bank they were originally merged with had my funds and refuse to release them. They then stopped replying to my request for my subscription to be cancelled, got no reply. I even tried calling them and would leave messages and not receive a call back. I have come to the conclusion that I am going to lose my $150.00 that was in my QOINS account, because I cant remove my funds and they have now started taking the $4.99 out of that money since I put a stopped payment through my bank. I hope something comes out of this and I will get my money back, but I am not going to get my hopes up. Do not trust QOINS, its crooked. Beware!

I am a customer of **********************, and have been for several years. I elected to cancel my membership when they required additional personal information to accommodate a bank migration. I sent in my initial request to cancel my account on October 18, 2022. **************** representative ************************* confirmed the two available options to cancel my account as follows."We have two options so that you can have access to your funds as soon as possible. The first option is to stay on boarded with Qoins and wait for your account to be fully migrated over. Once you are fully migrated over you will have access to withdrawal your funds from your Qoins account and have it deposited into your linked personal bank account. Options 2 is that you choose to deactivate and unsubscribe your account. This means that we will have to send your funds via mail in the form of a check that can take up to 4-8 weeks." I confirmed on October 24th that I would like to deactivate/unsubscribe and have my remaining funds mailed to me via check. I provided my mailing address and all required information. The same CSR ************************* confirmed on October 26th that my account was "unsubscribed" and will be deactivated, my remaining funds would be sent in 4-8 weeks. I sent follow up emails after the 4-8 weeks requesting a updates on the posting of my check, The 1st on 01/31/23 & again on 03/08/23 with absolutely ZERO follow up from Qoins ****************. ********************** has a blurb on their website about funds not being available due to the migration - this is poor business planning for your customers. You should not be a financial business if you can not provide the owed monies to customers. I believe this company has no intention of returning my money to me and is stealing from their customers amidst this "bank migration" The fact that it has taken 28 weeks (6 Months) since my initial email, or 20 weeks after the 4-8 week processing window is inexcusable. DO NOT use this app.
