      Will never use again. Fool me once, shame on you, there will be no fool me twice. Advertising on Delta website about 1 MQD per $1 spent is misleading and untrue, pure bait and switch. Just use Expedia, apparently they did (the hotel clerk slipped and mentioned it) but they marked it up on me. Avoid this service.

      Hidden Fees and Disappointment Not Worth the Money!I booked a trip through Delta Vacations expecting a smooth, worry-free vacation. What I got instead was a constant string of surprise charges and unnecessary stress. From the start, there were hidden fees tacked onto my rental cars.What should have been a relaxing getaway turned into a frustrating experience. I felt like I was being nickel-and-dimed at every turn. The package deal looked affordable at first, but by the end, I paid way more than if I had booked things separately.This wasnt just a minor inconvenienceit genuinely impacted the enjoyment of my trip. I wouldnt recommend Delta Vacations to anyone who wants transparency or value for their money. Save yourself the hassle and book directly through airlines and hotels instead.

      Delta's new MQD system is a complete mess, and their customer service has been nothing but unhelpful. I booked a Delta Vacation that ended on Dec 16th, and I was told it could take up to 8 weeks to reflect in my account. This delay could push me past the Jan 31 deadline to select my Diamond Global Upgrades and other choice benefits, which I need at the start of the year. Worse, it affects the points I earn on flights, as I should already be at Diamond status but am not because of these ********* make matters worse, my flight receipt and pending MQDs suddenly disappeared from my Delta account. At one point, my NYC flight was accounted for in both my MQDs and receipts, but now its nowhere to be found. I was told by Delta representatives that my flight should have reflected immediately, even if booked through Delta Vacations, and that I should follow up after the trip. Despite doing so, nothing has been resolved.This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and Delta's lack of transparency and accountability has left me questioning their reliability. If youre considering Delta, think twiceespecially if you value your time, loyalty status, or peace of mind.

      My late wife owned a travel agency and she used Delta Vacations for her clients. It was great back then (pre-2019). Since COVID however, DV has gone down hill. Let me give you some good reasons NOT to use them anymore...1) Their "5 star" resorts are actually run down and not even a "2 star". Without going into names, the resort they put us in had old on the outside, the public bathroom was filthy, the lobby smelled like urine and they had a dog bed in the concierges office. We never checked in, we called to cancel with delta vacations.2) Cancelling with DV is a pain. Even though the hotel may have a fair cancellation policy, you must use DVs policy that DOES NOT guarantee you a refund. Their refunds are totally different than the hotels. Booking yourself is much more secure for cancellations.3) You will NOT get your VIP miles or awards when booking cars and hotels with DV. They are a 3rd party company so hotel & car loyalty programs no longer get applied.4) *************** is horrible. Better off using **************** insurance. DVs travel insurance does NOT cover you to cancel due to any reason. It is either health or death and you must have proof to get it. Expect delays for any refund.5) DV does NOT itemize prices on anything. They lump the entire vacation into one price so no way to tell if you are getting a good deal at a hotel, car or on a flight and if you get a refund, no way to tell if you got the entire refund.6) Vendors will bill your card instead of DV. So if you do not keep a very close eye on your CC statement you could be billed twice for the same service or hotel. This happened to me twice, luckily I check my AE daily.7) DV has NOTHING to do with Delta airlines. They are a partner company and in no way owned by Delta airlines. You will still need to book your seat with Delta airlines directly, DV will NOT do it for you like a typical travel agent. My wife and I had seats on different rows since DV does not furnish you a seat assignment

      I wish I could give 0 stars. DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING WITH DELTA VACATIONS. We had a family reunion in the ******* that we put a deposit of $400 down. Unfortunately we had to cancel the reservation. We canceled 2 months before the cut off date to get a full refund. We were given travel vouchers instead of a refund even though we were told we could get a FULL refund as long as we canceled before the cut off date. We travel a lot so I didn't give her a hard time and accepted the vouchers. Then I call the agent to redeem the vouchers for a flight and I was told I can not use the vouchers just towards a delta flight. Even though the travel agent told me I could use these vouchers towards ANY delta flight. Now we are out $400. We will use other airlines going forward. Be careful what you book!!

      Absolute joke of a company, I had major issues on a Delta Vacation , leaking toilet from the room above caused me to slip and fall, when I went to the hotel that had been promised as Luxury and was anything but they refused to give me a new room. I called Delta Vacations, who told me they were sending a rep out and to wait 1 hour in the lobby, I waited only to have no one show up. I called again, they again promised to send another Delta Transportation rep to help, who again never showed up. A wasted day that I paid extremely good money for. Several power outages at the resort, mosquito issue in the room. To top it off the hotel they recommend as luxury had me file an injury report for the fall. When doing so I watched an employee of the resort be carried out screaming, kicking and crying and was thrown into a van to be taken somewhere. All employees on the premise did not act surprised by this occurrence. I called Delta after the vacation to show my displease of a trip that cost roughly 4k. They compensated me with a voucher for less then the day I spent inconvenienced . Then put rules that it could only be used for certain items. Absolute joke, when I asked for someone else to reach out it fell on deaf ears! I would never EVER let Delta Vacations plan my trip!

      This company's employee misrepresented himself and took unauthorized money from my credit card. I would give less than 1 star if possible. I feel as though the employee stole from me and my companions. Extremely disappointed. They should not be allowed to conduct business, very unethical.

      Delta vacations booked ** at the wrong hotel for our annual trip with friends. A rep told me it was likely because our requested hotel was full--however, ******* DID NOT say she was booking us at an altrnative hotel. We caught the error but it was too late for Delta to fix. They told us to check wtih hotel upon arrival. Hotel began to assist--but when they realized we booked through delta vacations--they couldnt help us. Customer service was non-existant, no attempt by Delta to compensate us for ruining our annual vacation with friends we only see once or twice a year. Trying to leave a comment/complaint on the Delta Vacations website won't go through--just keeps bringing me back to the "confirm and submmit" page--without ever submitting. I will never book through Delta Vacations again--and will warn anyone who asks not to use them either. Very disappointing.
