I did an interpreting job for Culturally Yours on April 23, 2025. Was supposed to be paid within 30 days. I have yet to get any funds. Just found out I am not the first ****** to be treated this way by Culturally Yours. I need my $400 asap.

    Business Response

    Good afternoon,

Our apologies for late reply the mail has issues and we often dont receive mail in a timely manner. Please see attached proofs.

This Interpreter was fully paid, his complaint is frivolous as he is the one that didn't send his paperwork despite numerous email text and phone calls.

This is unacceptable, we do our best to be on time and they don't read emails or text and expect to be paid without the minimum W9 sent. That's isn't the way to conduct business as independent contractor.

Thank you for removing they frivolous complaint.

    Regards,

I am a freelance court interpreter working with Culturally Yours since October 2022, I have encountered significant challenges with delayed payments, particularly exacerbated this year. Despite completing numerous assignments for three different court offices, ********, the representative from Culturally Yours, has consistently failed to pay me the $736.75 owed. The situation reached a breaking point recently when I informed the office that I needed to be paid for my services before accepting any further assignments due to the ongoing payment delays. ******** responded rudely and unprofessionally, prompting me to express my intention to cease working until payment was received. ******** then aggressively informed me, that I was no longer working with them.Feeling deceived by ********'s behavior, I began exploring my options for obtaining the payment owed. Upon further inquiry, I discovered that the court offices had indeed made payments to Culturally Yours for my services, yet I had not received any fees. At this point, I am left with a pressing question: Should I pursue legal action against Culturally Yours to recover my unpaid fees as I have all the supported documents, or is there a more efficient resolution to this dispute? Thank you.
