On December 7th, 2024, I arrived at the ********* parking lot, located at ***************************************** I parked in the middle of the lot. As I was walking to my destination, I noticed a sign with a qr code, saying scan to pay. I scanned it and opted for 2 hours parking, which they noted was free. My parking session started at 8:47pm. While at my destination, I ended up extending my parking until after 1am (December 8th, 2024). According to the website, that meant I'd have to pay $24.99 for parking. That was ok with me. I received confirmation of my parking extension. When I returned to my car after 1am, I saw it had been booted. I called to remove the boot and shared my parking confirmation. They (Empire Parking Services) said it didn't matter because there were signs at a far distance noting that after 1am, cars would be booted/towed. So that completely confused me - not only did Legacy allow me to extend my parking to after 1am. On the Legacy website, it had options to pay and park your car OVERNIGHT. This means that those who choose that option think their car is safe but instead it will be booted or towed after 1am regardless. This is extremely misleading, deceptive, and unlawful. I incurred a fee of $75 for the boot removal due to this. I am requesting that Legacy covers the fee AND ensures that their website is corrected to reflect the 1am stop time so that other patrons are not burdened with this same situation.

I parked in the ******************* Parking Lot on 4/21/24 to attend an event at the **********. Upon entering I took my parking ticket. As we left I went to the ticket machine on the third floor to pay The machine would not read my receipt. I tried several times and it said it could not read my receipt. I had to push lost receipt because that was the only way to pay. I looked at pay rates and it stated ***** for longest time period. I was going to need to pay that rate for the time I was there so I paid it and went straight to my car. I wiggled my way in front of a car to get out of the parking garage but it was bumper to bumper and it took a LONG while to get to the bottom. Each car was taking a long while to get out. When it was my turn, I put my receipt in the machine and once again, it would not read my receipt. The only way to get out was to pay another *****. There was no other option and no workers in the garage. I thought it would be fixed when I contacted the garage. I did contact Legacy Parking through the website and made several calls which went to voicemail. I did receive a call from ***** who said he was the facilities manager. He was short in his response telling me there was a 10 minute rule and too bad. I didnt see a thing about a 10 min rule. There was no way to leave the building any sooner. I paid the maximum fee a person pays in a day with the first *****. Their machines were not working and not reading my receipts. I couldnt exit the building without paying an extra 20 for the gate to open. I tried to explain but got the too bad, 10 min rule. After asking 4 times to speak to his superior, he finally told me his boss was ** but didnt have a phone and he couldnt talk to me. This was it. I emailed again the corporate office and have received no response back. I called once again and the phone goes to voicemail and no return call. I do have my receipts of both times I paid. They owe me 20 and how many others.
