My wife took our daughter to the **************** on July 25, 2023. She parked at your parking facility. When she went to pay, it did not acknowledge her payment or provide a receipt. She tried again and this time got a receipt. We were charged $20 twice. These charges have now posted as finalized transactions. We told a representative and were given an email address of ************************************************ We emailed that email address and it bounced back. We also emailed ************************ and did not hear back. I called Lanier Parking and left a voicemail and have not heard back. We need a $20 refund for the overcharge.Initial Complaint

On 8 April I parked my car at ********* in ************* around 11:15, and paid for my parking for the entire night as I left my car. This parking space is operated by Lanier Parking Solutions. I completed the app-based payment at 11:17. In the meantime, an officer apparently arrived at the spot and issued a parking ticket, with a timestamp of 11:18. This means the ticket was issued when I had already paid for my parking. The company employee argued that it takes several minutes to issue a ticket -- but it also takes a couple of minutes to pay using the app. I appealed the ticket and the appeal was denied, when I called the company I was met with unprofessional behavior and language, being accused of stalking the parking officer to pay when I saw them, and was also told the ticket was sent to court, which is false since the deadline for payment is still 9 days away.Initial Complaint

11:20 a.m.7-29-22 I was leaving the "no cash accepted" parking lot at ******************** parking lot. (Business address is ************************************************************* 30327)The charge came to $4. (I have time stamps of these) I inserted 1 credit card. Rejected. I inserted another. Rejected. Both cards are in good standing. Since I could not insert 4 single dollar bills, I called the attendant. The attendant (with badge) ***********************, witnessed the entire episode. He tried and tried my card, too. After 4 minutes, the card took, now announcing that I owed $6. Again this was witnessed by the attendant, who after pushing and pushing the button, could not retrieve a receipt. ***** said he has seen this time and time again. I would like a refund for the $2 that I am owed for this. Everything was recorded and documented on overhead camera and with my phone. I have reached out to the company to alert them and ask for refund.Thank you,***********Business response

I went on a cruise leaving from Miami from the 12th through the 20th of March 2022. I prepaid parking at Parkway Parking for $96.30. The address for parkway parking was 255 Northeast 1st Street in Miami Florida. Lanier/**** parking share the same street address. There is no signage or clarification available. The building is a very distinct multicolor parking building, hard to miss. On the day I arrived, March 12th, there was no one in the Parking Garage to answer our questions or give us directions, so we just got a ticket from the parking. On 3/20/22 at 9:30 a.m. we put in the ticket and ended up being charged $256 for the week, for a parking that should have only cost me $96.30. We spoke to an attendant that told us that this confusion was very usual as both parkings share the same building. He told us he could not assist us and that we needed to pay to get out of the parking garage, but to contact administration and that they will assist us and resolve the issue for us. I contacted Lanier Parking headquarters in Atlantan and spoke with a lady named *** who stated she could not help me but offered all information to contact Lanier Parking in Miami to get assistance. I called and got no answer. Emailed twice and they refused to assist. See attached google information. It is a very colorful iconic building. See attached picture(Exhibit 2). Lanier parking had advertised parking monthly rates of $185. There was no visible rate for weekly/hourly users. There was no person or sign clarifying the issue of the same building two separate parking companies. Lanier parking is aware there is an issue with proper warnings regarding the shared parking facility. This is a common confusion. They are taking advantage of their co-located parking garage. I asked them to adjust their rate to what I would have paid at the other parking $96.30, which would still had been more that a prorated amount of their monthly fees. They refused to issue the $159.70 refund to my credit cardBusiness response

This company has been notorious for over charging and issuing undeserved tickets and is being fired by the city of **************. My niece and I both received a $50 ticket for each taking up 2 spaces when we we parked side by side with another vehicle right next to mine. This is a dirt parking lot with no lines and tiny rubber parking blocks that you don't even see. In the companies photos my car is about a foot over the end of the block. Had I even seen it and tried to park straight with it, I would have been a foot away from the car next to me and unable to open my passenger door. I have appealed this ticket and heard nothing from the company, The fine increases to $100 after 7 days and $125 after 15 days. The ticket # is CB ********* issued 10/3/21. Tourists and locals have been over charged and ticketed undeservingly by this company since they have been in charge of the parking for the town. I want this citation dropped it was undeserved!!!Customer response

They denied the appeal and said the citation is valid. I do not believe that to be true.Business response

Due to staffing changes, we were unaware of this complaint being lodged and apologize for the delay. The original ticket was reviewed as part of the required appeals process and deemed that the ticket was legitimate and would stand.
