BBB received the following complaint regarding the marketplace practices of English Bulldog Kennel: My family was buying a bulldog puppy for 1000 dollars we were told to put a 500 deposit down and the rest can be given on delivery of the puppy in the beginning communication was fast but the day the puppy was supposed to be delivered they said they couldn't do it until the filling day. The next day they said to send the rest of the money even though they already agreed to get the remaining 500 in cash upon delivery. We sent the money anyway but they refused to give us the puppy without purchasing a kennel, toys even though we already said we brought some. They have refused to contact us or delivery any type of information to us. We are requesting a refund.
We received the following submission in BBB's Scam Tracker regarding the marketplace practices of English Bulldog Kennel: So I contacted English bulldog kennel looking for a bulldog puppy to purchase. My husband emailed them which they responded quickly. They had pictures of bulldog puppies which as a family we had chose one. We cash app the deposit upon looking at all the reviews as well. I'm very skeptical of these things. They said they were based in Georgia and they would drive the dog to our house. My husband then went and got the remaining balance in cash. Well they called and said they couldn't make it. Ok. The next day they emailed paper of transfer and said they would be to our house in two hours. The next call they said they wanted more money for his kennel and toys. Anyways we're out 1000 dollars and no puppy.
BBB asked English Bulldog Kennel to respond to the consumers' allegations in the complaint and the Scam Tracker submission.
English Bulldog Kennel did not respond to BBB.
BBB asked English Bulldog Kennel to provide answers to the following questions:
1. BBB was unable to locate the required competency license for your company name in Georgia. Please provide your license information.
2. The address given on your website has been linked to Noble Born Retrievers and Premium Goldens, both which do not have the required competency license in the state of Georgia. Please explain.
3. Images for your company's testimonials were found on many other different company websites. Please explain.
4. Images of puppies for sale on your company's website were found on many other different company websites. Please explain.
English Bulldog Kennel did not respond to BBB.
So that BBB may provide the most accurate and transparent information on English Bulldog Kennel to consumer inquiries, we sent our Standard Business Questionnaire for their completion and return.
Also requested were copies of any written agreements, contracts, literature, brochures and marketing materials used by English Bulldog Kennel.
English Bulldog Kennel did not respond to BBB's requests for information.
