  Very satisfied. I moved from ** to *********. Packaging and service was efficient and in the time frame advised. I'm taking out one star only because washer and drier arrived damaged, and a couple of plates and Tupperwares as well. I will suggest extra protection on those items for next time.I have to underline that ******* went far and beyond on service making possible the impossible. Thank you a lot. I'm happy on the overall service :)

  I am not sure why there are so many bad reviews for this company. I want to encourage anyone who is looking to hire a great moving company in ******* to pick A1 Hortons. The staff is so friendly. We worked with them on a B2B project. It didn't turn out the way we wanted but I still have nothing but great things to say. They really care about the value they put in their work. Highly recommend them!

  A-1 ****** Moving Services is a A-1 Service. I have used A-1 Services since 2008. My job requirements of moving around the world from 2008, 2015, 2020 etc has enabled me to have a reliable and trustworthily company with numerous valuable and cherished family belongings. The movers and office staff are very responsive, caring and tentative to details has earned my repeat business for many years. To date A-1 are my selection of Choice.Stellar Operation 100%

  I used A-1 ****** Moving Services twice, 1st time when moving to ******* and the 2nd time 4 years later when I retired from the military. Ms. ******* and her crew were very professional, polite, and made sure my household goods were taken care very well. I definitely would use them again and I do recommend this company to anyone .

  Avoid this company like the plague. ******* the President is one of the most malicious and deceitful people I have ever met.She received my goods for a military move and couldnt deliver for 5 weeks after getting it. I found movers to pick it up in 2 days. She drug me along hoping I wouldnt get my own crew.-She personally broke multiple DOD moving laws and regulations and attempted to hold my goods hostage -Called my wife a liar when 3rd parties verified our info we were debating -Hung up on me when she was mad that she forgot our pickup was at 9:30 and not 8am and realized -When I confronted her that the behavior was not professional, she admitted to hanging up because she didnt want to hear my lies. They arent lies, the moving contractor over her has 9:30 on their recorded tapes -Didnt have my goods out for inspection upon arrival and wanted me to wait 2-3 hours to unload them -said I couldnt have my stuff without signing away all liability or even touch my goods -Has a color blind employee calling off good stickers that were green and yellow and got it wrong -Refused to let my moving crew load up MY goods until she spent 3 hours reading off stickers to try and manipulate me to sign away liability or lose money ever hour while my crew sat A1 is under investigation from the **** I took my goods and paid for a move myself. Do not trust ******* or A1. I actually feel sorry for ******* because I have never met someone so unhappy. Avoid the company like the plague.

  We regret that ************** has chosen to write this entirely false review, but will attempt to respond, and wish to put ************** on notice that writing false reviews to cause a company to lose business is something that he can be held liable for.Firstly, at no time did anyone at A-1 ******** call *************** a liar. The only one that uttered the word "liar" was in fact, ************** himself in a telephone conversation with **************** when she called him to find out where he and his movers were. *************** had stated that they would arrive at 8:00 A.M. and wait until we were ready to release the shipment to them and because of that, we had extra personnel come in and pull the shipment so that we could be ready at 8:00. When **************** phoned **************, he became very argumentative, and we refused to entertain his argument.Upon his arrival at our office, we processed his identification, and were ready to proceed to the warehouse where he could check his shipment for loss and damage, but he again attempted to engage **************** in an argument. We refused such engagement. These conversations are recorded. He was standing right beside a camera. At no time did anyone "drag ************** along". We have emails from him requesting to stay on our schedule. They closed on their home on May 17th. We could have delivered them on May 23rd, six days after closing. They elected to hire a non-military mover to pick their shipment up from our facility on May 18th, *************** stating because ************** would be leaving out in a couple of days, they have two small children and she needed help before he leaves. The mover they hired is an internet broker with a BBB rating of F, who showed up with about 4 furniture pads and no hand trucks (loaned them ours), just for information. The last conversation we had with *************** was that the movers would arrive at 8:00, but from this review, it appears she may have contacted Interstate *** Lines to tell them 9:30, and no one bothered to pass that information on to **. ************** attempted to force ** to allow his F rated movers to come into our facility and handle his shipment prior to him checking it for loss and damage. All paperwork must be completed before an outside truckman handles the shipment. (This is for liability reasons) When **************** walked out of the warehouse for five minutes, ************** attempted to get A-1 ******** warehouse personnel to let his crew in before the paperwork was completed. After the paperwork was completed and his movers started work, they broke a bookcase, and they drug faux leather sofas across the floor standing on their ends, didn't pad wrap the wood and loaded wood against wood. This is why we complete the paperwork first. We do not want to be liable for anything they may damage. This is normal with all outside truckmen, not just ****************** crew. ************** stated that ***************** "broke multiple *** moving laws and regulations and attempted to hold my goods hostage". He has cited no laws that were broken nor any regulations that were broken, and we doubt that he knows the regulations as he did not know that it is illegal to take a photocopy of his military identification card. ************** was not told that he could not pick up his shipment if he did not sign off all liability. He was advised that he needed to check his shipment in its entirety to make sure that there was no loss and/or damage prior to his movers acceptance. ************** was not forced to sign any paperwork but made his own decision when he was satisfied that his shipment was all in tact and accounted for and that he was ready to sign. At no time did we force ************** to hire a crew by the hour, but we brought in extra help to try to accommodate their 8:00 arrival. The shipment was pulled and ready for check off and inspection at 8:00, the time that *************** advised that they and their mover would arrive. Finally, ************** has stated that "A1 is under investigation from the ***** We'd ask that ************** provide evidence of this. If he is unable to provide any evidence of the regulations broken or the investigation that we are under and the fact that we attempted to hold his shipment hostage, we will be contacting our attorney to take up this matter as this review by ************** is entirely false and an attempt to damage our good name as a *** contractor. We are a military contractor requested by 3 Star Generals, civilians, officers, and NCO's alike, have been in business for 51 years, and served the *** for many of those years, and a military family, and take pride in the service that we provide to the service men and women whose shipments are entrusted to **. Not only has he attacked our business, but he has also attacked ****************, apparently because his wife contacted another company (evidenced by his review) to give them an arrival time different from the arrival time that she gave **. This review is wholly false on the part of CPT *****, and he has provided no evidence in support of his claims whatsoever.
