    On June 6 I went to an appointment at Sovereigns Women's Health. Before being seen I was told my copayment was $225. I paid my money and was seen. Maybe 2 weeks later I got a EOB and the amount was lower than I paid around $90 less. When I went for my next visit I explained that I was overcharged and owed a refund. I was told that I as the customer get the explanation of benefits before they do, once they get it they will return my money. I said okay great. I had my second visit and went home. After about 3 weeks I didnt notice a refund. I reached out to the Office again. I was told again that they need the **** I offered to send my copy. They said they need the official copy from the ***************** I waited and still heard nothing so I emailed them so I could have proof of my conversations. I received a call from ***. She stated she sees the amount owed but since I had a second visit, I have to wait until the insurance pays them then they can release my refund. That made no sense to me, specially cause my 2nd visit was covered 100% by my insurance but I waited. I heard nothing and received nothing. By this time I have switched banks so I requested via email for a check to be mailed to me. I was told on August 9 that the information was provided to the billing ***** I still havent received a refund. Much less I get treated with an attitude when I follow-up about it. I dont think it takes 3 months to return back someone's money furthermore if there is an issue with the billing department the courtesy of an explanation. If I am required to pay my money before being serviced in full, it should be no issue in returning my money in full once you verify there is money owed. I am attaching my emails I sent and responses . Please note this is my experience with her Staff and not the Doctor. I am not sure if she is aware of the billing issues but there are other complaints online that mirror my own. ********************* was a good Doctor but billing needs to be fixed.
