I spoke to a representative late December about taking a CPMA class online on Monday evenings starting in January. On January 2nd I made a payment online via ********* as directed. No additional details on company policy or access were provided at this time. I received an email shortly after stating classes would start January 17th (Tuesday) when I was previously advised over the phone classes were Mondays starting January 16th. I reached out to icode academy receiving voicemail boxes for many representatives and never received calls back. I needed to clarify the days of class, how to access my course, and when the included books/material would be sent to me to confirm I would receive it before the class start date. I ended up emailing someone from icode I had contacted from a previous unrelated transaction. She called me on 1/14/23 and advised me that the class was starting Monday January 16th not Tuesday January 17th which is conflicting from the email they sent me and from what another representative advised me. She would have someone follow up for a refund. Another week passes and my calls to icode have still been unreturned. I receive a disenrollment email on 1/23/23 saying they will be retaining a $750 non-refundable registration fee and issuing a refund of $1,150.00 via check. It is 2/14/23 and I still have no received a refund of any kind on my original payment method or via check and I have also continued to leave voicemails and emailed back requesting a phone call back as I do not agree with the refund. If I was provided the correct course information at the time of or prior to registration, I would not have enrolled in the class. I also was not provided notice of this policy or any terms prior to the disenrollment email. I was unable to join the class regardless of my schedule due to their lack of communication, no materials were provided including online course access and I am requesting a FULL remind for the amount of $1,716.00 as paid.
