I ordered ALL of my new kitchen appliances through Guy Gunter because a contractor I trusted recommended them. While the sales portion went alright, it was lacking when it came to a true understanding of what was needed to execute - for example, the hood blower was supposed to be mounted outside a wall and the one they ordered was too big and could only be roof mounted. It was also 300 cfm over what was needed for the cooktop ordered. Also, the sales associate knew that the wine fridge needed to be stainless steel but never included information for purchase of the doors. They will come 1 month after install. Install was the biggest issue. Every appliance has required service within 2 -5 hours on install based on issues with the appliance - microwave does not heat, refrigerator not balanced and freon was not moving through refrigerator as expected. The cooktop was scratched during install and installed off-center as installers did not measure once installed. Installation was completed by 2pm even though an entire day was allotted so there was more than enough time for checking and review of appliances. Instruction manual left in dishwasher while they ran initial test and foam left in dishwasher. Oven burn off was done in a manner to save time so ovens ran hot long after manufacturer says should occur. It was determined that burn off being done simultaneously versus one at a time as recommended was the reason. As soon as appliances are installed - and installation comes at a cost for every appliance installed, and I had 8 major appliances installed, so the cost is not worth it because it will be done without care.
