Currently have a 0% interest rate for 60 months to finance windows for our home.First two payments were processed. The third payment this month was "reversed" by GreenSky. The next day they processed the entire balance of the loan $25,560 against our checking account without authorization.When contacting them they stated that the payment was "failed" by our bank. Which is interesting because they were able to charge and withdraw the amount listed above. The stated that it would take them six business days to return our money. We contacted our bank and filed a fraudulent bill claim. Based on their TrustPilot scores we are wondering if we need to file legal action, but thought we would try BBB first.Business Response

I want the finance company to locate, and process the check that was sent to them to pay off the loan. I requested and received a payoff letter from the company in February to pay off the loan. Fidelity Title send a check to Greensky, in the amount of$7736.90 to pay off my loan as part of the process of purchasing a new house. The company claimed they never received the check. On 3-20-2025 Fidelity put a stop check on the original check, and overnighted another one by *****. ***** tracking shows that check was delivered to Greensky on Friday 3-21-2025 at 10:16 am eastern time. I am still waiting for them to find the check and credit it to my account, and not charge me any penalties or interest.Business Response

Contacted this company multiple times regarding a billing issue. No call back. **** should be fired. This company should not be in operation. Unfortunately I couldn't avoid financing with them because this is who our ac company used. ************ has tried to contact ****** ******, the account manager for one of our accounts we have for one of our customers that has refused to pay the final transactions. We have contacted Greensky since the beginning of January to talk with ****** to help to resolve this issue. But she has not returned any of our phone calls or emails. Everytime will call Greensky they tell us they are going to email ****** to give us a call to help with the issue and she never calls us or let alone email us. They finally gave us her direct number to call her. Everytime we call it goes straight to voicemail and she never returns our call.Business Response

I hired Longroofing to remodel my master bath because getting in a tub has caused me great pain because I cannot lift my leg without using a small step ladder to hold for support. I use a ****** and cane because of arthiritis. The initial date was August. They told me they were behind in their work and so they did not get to me until October. The first appointment was cancelled two hours before they were to show up stating one of the items was cracked and had to be reordered. When they came, the project seem to be going well. Then he told me he could not do anything because I had ants in my wall and he could not work with that. I needed to call a pest control company. I did. He came back the project was supposed to be one or two days. According to him, he did not have what he needed and had to purchase items and return another day. Instead of marble, he used WOOD in a shower. I immediately called and told Longhorn what the problem was. They told me this person and said he completed the job. I sent them pictures. When they tried to reach him, he said his wife was having a baby and they didn't know when he would return. I informed them how disappointed I was and wanted someone to come out and take a look. The person who was suppose to be the project manager stated she doesn't go out to the homes, she just speaks with the people. We talked a few times and then nothing more. No more phone calls. Greensky paid these people after I sent them the pictures. No mediation of any kind. I told them many times the work was not completed and that it looked shoddy. After I had sent them many started contacting LongRoof after that and I sent them pictures as well. It has been months. Well over any normal contractor should have gone. We are in our 5th month. Greensky called me, stating they decided to pay them. Even after giving them recommendations from ********** and ***** about the problem, The contract should be cancelled and they should recup all monies from LongRoof.Business Response

******* *****So I assume they didnt take me serious when I first called to complain. They made a decision without my knowledge and now they take my complaint serious? Because this company kept delaying my project my back spasms started to increase. I have to get in and out of my tub using a step ladder. I have fallen and now have to wear a 24hour monitor. This is a delay of due process. Which I am now seeking legal counseling. Im sure that is why they made such a general statement.

Interest rate misleading - At first was told 0 interest for the first 6 months during the purchase window intro period. First month received finance changes. Called and was told that was wrong it is 1.55% for that intro period of 6 months. Now being told was never an intro period and being charged full finance. I have been trying for the last three days to have them me a copy of my 1098 tax form. I called on February 6th, 7th and February February 8th. They refused to release the form even though I supplied my account number. The customer service said because of security they could not email it to me unless I went to the customer portal and find it there.I went to the portal today, February 8 and tried to find it there as they instructed me,it was not there..I find their customer service to be abismal..I am still waiting for a resolution of my inquiry.They don't have a security issue when I make my account payments.Business Response

I ordered windows from renewal by ********. They set me up on a loan I did not want that I cancelled right away with Green Sky. The bank set me up on a loan despite my cancel in ten minutes. I had to call them and they said all info is cancelled and nothing shared. Then months later I get letter from *******, owner of GreenSky saying they are sharing all my personal info. even tho Im not supposed to have an account. I called them and they claim I have an account. But said it was cancelled. They put me on an opt out today but Im really frustrated with them taking my info and selling it without my permission.Business Response

GreenSky reviewed our records and the recorded call from the merchant and consumer. After the application was submitted and approved, the merchant contacted GreenSky and stated that the consumer filled out an application and it was approved but the consumer changed her mind and would like to cancel the application and financing. GreenSky spoke with the consumer, closed the account as requested, and advised her that shed receive a closed account letter within 7-10 business days. The consumer contacted GreenSky again on February ******, because she received a letter stating her information was being shared. During the call, GreenSky reviewed the consumer account,confirmed the account was closed as requested in October 2024, explained we cannot delete information from account, and processed the opt-out of information sharing. GreenSky submitted a request to the credit bureau and confirmed her information is not being shared with other parties. GreenSky received an email from the consumer asking that we do not make contact her going forward. We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience the consumer experienced. This is the second time that I financed a home improvement project with Greensky. I do not plan to do so in the future! I agreed to an installment loan with a playoff by 2/8/2025. I have been trying to pay it off for three weeks now. I tried to utilize a balance transfer offer (which I have tons of experience with) but Greensky kept telling me that they hadn't received the payment; despite me contacting them to verify where to send the payment. I had to cancel that and paid directly from Greensky's portal. I spoke to Hemel who now cannot verify that my payment will post properly (on time); claiming that it depends on how my bank handles the transaction. Why are they blaming it on my bank? No, Greensky wants any excuse to charge you the deferred interest! We live in an electronic society! This is archaic & I question their practices! I have filed a complaint with Greensky I am hoping that they post this transaction to my account like they have posted over the past year (by the end of today) and this matter can be resolved.
