      I am filing this formal complaint against REMOVEDregarding a collection account they are reporting on my credit files. The account number is REMOVED, and the amount is $16,368.I have never been provided with a copy of the original signed contract or the specific Truth in Lending Act (TILA) disclosures required for this alleged debt. As this is an unverified account with no proof of a legal obligation, I am disputing its validity in its entirety. Furthermore, REMOVEDhas failed to provide a "Chain of Title" or an "Assignment of Debt" proving they have the legal right to collect or report this specific balance.Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), a debt collector must cease all collection and reporting activity if they cannot provide proper validation upon REMOVEDa resolution to this complaint, I demand that REMOVEDprovide a copy of the original signed loan agreement and a full itemized accounting of the debt. If they are unable to produce the original contract within the legal timeframe, I demand the immediate and permanent deletion of this tradeline from my credit reports at REMOVED, Experian, and TransUnion.Thank you for your assistance in resolving this matter.REMOVED

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Inability to Verify: GreenSky admitted in writing they do not have the service contract for this 2019 installation. They cannot legally report or validate the debt without the underlying agreement.
      Defective Installation: The merchant (Air Dynasty) installed improperly sized units, inadequate returns and ducts, violating Texas mechanical codes. Under the FTC Holder Rule, GreenSky is liable for this merchant failure.
      Illegal Coercion: GreenSky used fraudulent threats of a "home lien" to coerce payments on this unsecured debt. In REMOVED, threatening a homestead lien for an unsecured loan is a violation of the Texas Debt Collection Act.

      Desired Outcome:
      I demand the permanent deletion of this tradeline from all credit bureaus. I will not accept a "zero balance" status; the unverified entry must be removed entirely.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      1. Failure to Validate Debt

      GreenSky has officially admitted in their correspondence that they do not possess the contract for services between me and the merchant (Air Dynasty A/C & Heating). Without the service contract, GreenSky cannot verify the scope of work they financed or prove that the merchant fulfilled their obligations. It is irresponsible for a financial institution to demand payment while simultaneously admitting they lack the primary document governing the transaction.

      2. REMOVEDInstallation & Equipment Failures

      My dispute is based on the fact that the equipment installed is fundamentally defective and does not meet the requirements of my home. I have had the system inspected by a licensed third-party HVAC professional who confirmed the following:

      Wrong Equipment Size: The units installed are the incorrect tonnage for the square footage of my home, making it impossible to heat or cool the property effectively.

      Incorrect Ductwork: The ductwork was installed improperly, preventing the system from functioning as intended.

      Insufficient Returns: The number and location of the air returns are incorrect. The system is currently "suffocating" due to a lack of return air, which causes frequent mechanical failure and represents a total installation failure.  Air Dynasty attempts to "bandaid" the issue (unit stops cooling within six months of their visit) by installing a capacitor every six months or so when the system fails only after I raise multiple tickets, demand to speak to the owner and post unfavorable REMOVEDreviews.  

      GreenSky is attempting to collect on a loan for a system that was never properly installed and is not fit for use. Because GreenSky lacks the contract and the merchant failed to provide a functioning system, I am requesting that this account be deleted from my credit reports immediately.

      I was notified via email while traveling in REMOVEDthat my account was due a additional 4.60 and i made that payment.I just returned home and have been bother by GreenSky via teat and phone calls about a debt of 30 cents. 30 cents!!!!!!I returned their phone call and gave the women a piece of my mind to be bothering me for 30 cents when this month's payment was over what was due.I made a payment of $25.00 over the due amount that is in their system being paid.I am filing a complaint of harassment against them.I want their CEO or Senior Executive to contact me via email within 24 hours with an apology.This is beyond STUPID to be harassing me for 30 REMOVEDthe past, when I needed assistance from them about another issue with a payment being missed, they failed to fixe my account with the correct information.GreenSky has too many issues and needs to be investigated.

      On 10/6/2025, we meet with REMOVEDRemodeling to remodel our shower. We agreed to a finance a loan through GreenSky and that they would take 50% of the loan before work was completed. We got a call to schedule installation at the end of October. It was schedule for November 21, 2025. On that day we waited for the company to come install the shower with no contact from REMOVED. I called DreamStyle multiple times with no answer. Finally GreenSky contacted us about REMOVEDgoing out of business. We told them that no work had been completed so we filed a dispute with GreenSky to remove the $8395.00 from our account. This dispute was filled in December of 2025. We have called multiple times to find out if it was cancelled but it is still pending investigation.

      My wife (REMOVED) accepted a loan from GreenSky in June 2024 in the amount of $25,816.00 as part of a solar panel installation incentive on our home. We immediately enrolled in an auto-pay option to send $1,434.22 per month from my checking account with REMOVEDto GreenSky for a total of 18 months to pay off the loan in its entirety prior to the interest rate reaching REMOVED% APR. GreenSky is claiming that they made two failed attempts to collect the monthly auto-pay amount of $1,434.22 from my bank account on 2/11/25 and 3/11/25--both resulting in payment reversals that prompted them to suspend the remaining auto payment schedule, completely unbeknownst to me. A successful payment in the amount of $1,434.22 was then withdrawn from my account on 3/12/25. However, REMOVEDhas confirmed to me that not only were the supposed payments on 2/11/25 and 3/11/25 never made by GreenSky, but even had they been made on the dates they are claiming, my daily account balance would have more than satisfied the amounts of the withdrawals. This deceitful, unlawful, and predatory action on behalf of GreenSky has resulted in their claim that the combined principal and interest amount of the loan is now $24,696.55, which is almost equal to the initial loan amount. I have offered to pay the actual principal amount due on the loan with zero interest as of 1/6/26 minus whatever I had already paid them up to that date since the inception of the loan--however they refused to accept that offer. I would like your assistance with resolving this deplorable attempt by GreenSky to blatantly inflate the loan without actually making any attempt whatsoever to withdraw funds that were actually available. Rather than seek any legal action and damages against them for the damage that this may have caused to my wife's credit score, I would simply like to pay the principal balance of the loan without any interest, and I want GreenSky to close the account in good standing.

      Date of 18-month zero-interest loan 07/27/2025 I have already paid $10 REMOVED-my purchase loan price was $9505.12 So I have already paid this back before the Feb 2027 date, when I'll have to start paying interest and the loan. They have a video saying you don't need to pay anything but it help to make payments. An interest-free loan means no interest but they say I have another $4964.27 still outstanding.I already paid Foundation REMOVED(page attached) who filed the loan with Greensky, a deposit for the job of $ REMOVED. The only reason I agreed was the interest-free loan. Otherwise, I would not have moved forward with the job. They have a video stating interest will be waived. REMOVED"The GreenSky loan program offers promotional plans, such as the deferred interest loan plan with no payments during the promotional period.If approved for this plan, monthly payments are not required during the promotional REMOVEDis important to understand that during the promotional period, interest will be charged to your account.However, if you pay off the entire purchase balance before the end of the promotional period specified in your loan agreement, all billed interest will be waived.This type of loan allows you to spread your payments over time and avoid interest if you track key dates and pay the entire purchase balance by the end of the promotional period. When I log into the website, it shows the promotional date Feb. 2027, and if you click the info icon, it clearly says zero interest(page attached). So I have already overpaid on this loan, and they continue to charge me. I would like a confirmation letter my loan is paid in full and my overpayments $ REMOVEDreturned, please.

      We got a loan through Greensky for our bathroom remodel. We had made approximately $457 in payments but then the project almost got canceled due to the company error. We did not need to continue paying on the loan at that time, but once they completed the project, they reset the amount of the loan and the payments we have made are missing. They claim they have sent us a check for only $175 back in November but we have never received such a check. I have called and filed a complaint numerous times and each time I get an email saying that they have tried to reach me and since they were unable to reach me, they are closing the case. Now that we have finally got them on the phone. They are telling the same lies again saying that they have tried to call me, but my voicemail box is full and that is an absolute lie. All we are asking for is for the money that we have already paid to be put towards the account. They are asking us for payments, but they are not paying us the money that they owe us or at least crediting our account with the money we have paid. I can produce phone records and email records to show you that they have never tried to contact me once and you can check bank statements to see that they have never sent a check nor has one been cashed. We are not asking for anything more than what we have already paid and we cant seem to get this done. This business is doing nothing, but giving us lie after lie and my credit can be impacted by this. Im not willing to lose money or lose my credit score because this company is very dishonest

      The bill for Renewal by REMOVEDfor $4,500 was paid in full before the work started in Feb. 2026. I received a notice from GreenSky stating that the bill had been paid in full, also in February. GreenSky then contacted me to say that I needed to pay Renewal by REMOVED$4,500. I told them that it was a billing error, and it had already been paid. They have continued to contact me about paying monthly on the same bill, and I am never able to speak with anyone about it. I don't know if it's due to incompetence or fraud because I can't reach them either by phone or online, but I'm tired of receiving bills for something I've already paid and I want it stopped.

      In July of 2021, we purchased a bathroom conversion from a bathtub to a shower through REMOVEDHome at a price of $9191.00. We received a loan through GreenSky for this amount. Our financing was to be 6.99% for 5 years at a price of $194.25. According to our amortization schedule, the amount should have been $181.95. According to GreenSky we still owe payments until Jul 26 in the amount of $518.09. According to the above schedule, we have been overpaying by $12.30 per month, therefore, our loan should have paid off in Feb 26 at only $99.30. Since we made a payment of $194.25, GreenSky should owe us, $94.95 and we should owe no further payments.

      I spoke to a great customer service agent named Lilnita, that was initially helpful regarding a 30-day late payment reflected on my account starting on the billing cycle December 6th, 2025, in the amount of $235.87. I am requested a goodwill adjustment to have this single derogatory REMOVEDremoved from my report due to no fault security and fraud in the account that caused all auto payment to not process. I have been a GreenSky customer since July 5th, 2023, and I take great pride in maintaining a responsible financial profile. Up until this specific incident, my payment history with their institution has been exemplary. Fraud occurred in my REMOVEDCredit Union Account ending in #REMOVEDon December 1st, 2025 (while I was overseas working. I did not have access to the account at the time, via app or internet, thus I was unaware that automatic payments were not being paid after the malfeasance). The late payment in question was not a result of financial instability or lack of attention to fiscal details, but rather a one-time, uncontrollable event. As soon as I became aware of the lapse, I immediately resubmitted my payment to another account and brought the account current. I provided information and correspondence as requested by the company, and my request for a "Goodwill Removal" is not odd, but moreover, a standard and widely recognized practice within the financial industry and falls in line with FCRA (15 U.S.C. 1681) which ensures accuracy, privacy, and fairness of credit information. Established precedents for removing isolated late payments for customers who demonstrate a "pattern of reliability" is not an uncommon request especially when there has been fraud or malfeasance, and I havent received any acknowledgement from GreenSky since my initial submission.

      Purchase new air conditioning unit from A/C Design in October 2025 with estimate of REMOVEDto finance with Green Sky. Loan was presented as interested free but now being billed 12% interest. Contact with Green Sky representative who stated "you signed the agreement". All docs were sent electronic without details. A/C design advertised and told us it was interest free for 5 years. We now see a 10 year loan with exorbitant interest.
