      I purchased a furnace and it was financed thru Greensky in December of 2023. The purchase amount was *******, I was told by the salesman that the interest rate would be 6.99%. That was the first issue, the interest rate is 9.99%. My payment per month is $73.13, I have been paying $80 a month and I have never been late or skipped any payments. So I have been paying over the requested payment since January ******* current balance is $4970.41. So according the Greensky I have only paid about $30 towards the principal balance. How can this be.I am 68 years old and I feel I have been preyed upon by a predatory lender.

      Sent Payoff and was charged an extra finance charge 2 days later posted the payoff but We have proof the check was delivered to the corporate office 7 days prior???? This is why they are not associated with BBB as they have unfair business practices and horrible customer service. Wont answer the emails? And when they do answer the phone you get no resolution

      I started an installment loan with this company. I do not know what *** I dealt as there are several in different states. The truth in lending states monthly payment of $237.56 at 6.99 percent for 60 months to payoff $12,000.00. If you use a loan calculator with these inputs of 60 months at 6.99 percent for a loan amount of $12,000.00 it will show $237.56. They are trying to charge me $255.94 which would be an interest rate of over 10 percent and I would pay $1084.42 too much. I called them and they could not give me an answer and just said they would call me back. This does not match my uploaded loan doc of truth in lending.

      On June 14, 2025, I accessed a link provided by ******* to begin a loan prequalification process through GreenSky. At no point was it made clear that this process would result in a hard inquiry on my credit report.During a subsequent online meeting, I requested that GreenSky demonstrate how I would have reasonably known that I was transitioning from a prequalification stage to a full loan application. Instead of providing this clarification, GreenSky repeatedly referenced having my signature, without addressing my concerns about the lack of transparency in the process.I respectfully request the immediate removal of this hard inquiry from my credit report, as I did not knowingly consent to a full credit check.Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.Sincerely,******** *********

      I am rejecting this response because:

      GreenSky continues to provide a screenshot as proof that I signed an online form, yet they are unable to produce a hard copy of the actual agreement for my records. I have repeatedly requested that GreenSky demonstrate where, within their portal, it clearly informs the consumer that they are transitioning from a prequalification stage into a formal loan application process.  They have declined and stated they don't perform this type of customer service.

      I also formally requested that the account, which was opened inadvertently, be closed. I received confirmation that Application ID ********** has been closed. Additionally, I informed RamJack of this unsatisfactory experience.

      Given that I no longer have an active account with **********************, I do not understand why a hard credit inquiry remains on my credit report. I respectfully request that this inquiry be removed, as it was made under misleading circumstances and without full transparency.

      Feb. 2025, Problems with nailing,ridge vents(health issues),blisters on asphalt shingles. Spoke with **** and *** in reference to Green Sky's Bill of Rights to advocate in resolving disputes with contractor/provider on these issues. Requesting funds be put in dispute until work is done proper.

      This is a complaint regarding greensky. I had a loan and was paying on time. I was charged a finance charge at ***** on ****** when it was paid and only ****** was on the loan left to pay. They tried charging me ****** when the finance charge should have only been *****. when I sent in the last payment on the account ********************** said the didn't receive it. Every other money order that I've sent they have received. Now the last money order they say they didn't receive it. I sent them with **** by priority shipped. I find out it was cashed and shipped and picked up. They said they didn't have it and had an investigation. I had to pay ***** to get the information from the bank it was cashed. They had no reason when asked how they don't know where my check is and who picks it up and told me I will have a late charge after all the information was given to them by email. This seems to be fraud. I want my ***** that was paid to get the paperwork about the check and the gas money and time I wasted to get it and they had the check the whole time. I am requesting them to pay me back because this seems like fraud. They have all pictures and documents regarding this.

      I am rejecting this response because: I believe I should get the ***** back for the paperwork that they said I needed and they had all the information already. The information I sent for priority shipping and the information for the money orders and the ***** paperwork of the cashed check they said they didn't have. They are doing this to multiple people and they are charging them late fees when they are enrolled in auto pay people are saying also. They are doing these things to all people all the time.

      I hired a company to come in pro edge green sky is the financer for them when I purchased the deal. It said I didnt have tostart paying for anything until after the job was done. All of a sudden, Im getting stuff added to my bill because they said I didnt pay enough inthe first three months Fine. Then because of all my complaints and the company pro edge not coming back to me they put a ticket out and then theycredited me where I had my account down to just under ****** then a couple months ago I got my bill and Im back up till like 22 ******. Im not interested in paying more than the ****** Im not even interested in that. The job is still not properly completed. I dont know what else to do for myself.

      They are harrasing us to death and know the total story and breached our contracts and reported negative or missed, late payments to credit agencies causing a ********************** her perfect score of 840 which is now 640 if no resolution can be made within a week we are suing ******** and green sky seeking significant damage as we don't even want the bay window anymore it's so bad and with everything that has happened I'm sure of successful litigation, they completely know situation and have been told no less than 50 times that as soon as resolved made with ******** a check would be paid that day in full.
