I am writing to formally file a complaint against Ethio American Insurance Company, based in *******, *******. I am a Limousine Driver, I had coverage with Ethio, and on December 8, 2024 I was in a accident, someone side swiped me, while driving 5 clients back to their destination, officer come to accident and considered it at fault for both drivers. My insurance which is Ethio at the time, decided that they would cancel my policy because of this accident and another one that happened same day, that was not my fault. My GMC Yukon XL, was damaged to the point where I was not able to drive clients are any longer. I have been trying to get them to get my vehicle in the shop since December 2024, Here it is now July 2025, and they still have not approved any repairs. I have sent emails, called in at least 3 times a week, I have even gone into the location on *********** about 4 times to get a resolution. I have lost a ton of business with. transportation with clients since 12/2024, Have attempted every options possible. I am at this time seeking Lost of use, since December 2024, until now. The vehicle is in the shop finally June2, 2025 the supplement was sent over to the insurance company and nothing was done with the supplement until July 16, 2025. I have been without my vehicle since 12/08/2024 and the insurance company would not approve for me to get the truck fix, repaired or anything they would not answer calls or return calls, nor emails or text. I have lost pretty much all my business, I have not been able to work since the accident. They would not budge with my claim, now it's in the shop, they took 44 days before they approved the supplement for the shop to preceed with repairs. I have attempted to resolve this matter directly with Ethio, but unfortunately, the issue remains unresolved. I believe that the companys practices are not in line with fair business standards, and I am seeking your assistance in addressing this matter.Sincerely,Swan *******Initial Complaint

I was in a car accident on 12/6/24,and I was an authorized insured driver on the policy. I filed a claim and was told I needed to get my own medical records. I received my medical records,and sent them to the claims adjuster,and she stated that I would hear something in 30 day, well it's been over 30 days and now she's not responding to my email. I sent to her on 1/30/25. I have a ****** hospital bill, and I fractured my lower back in the accident. I just want what's owed to me.Business Response

Please be advised that since Ms. ****** making her bodily injury claim, evidence has been submitted that shows Ms. ****** may have had her back injury before this accident. We are also still investigating whether this claim can be filed under the insured's Uninsured Motorist coverage and to make sure this s not a fraudulent claim. I am rejecting this response because: I have never had prior back injuries ever, and I have never been in an accident were I was injured, especially my back. The car was totaled,so I'm not sure we're the fraud is coming from. They're be deceitful, especially **** *******, she had so many complaints, from customers. God will always prevail, and the claim was filed on 1-30-25

My insurance company uses Agero for roadside and the company that towed my car Unique Towing had this insurance company. I had to fight with aggro to get the tow Company insurance after they damaged my vehicle. Now that I have filed a claim with this company they want to deny my claim because they can't reach their insuree for a statement. Their customer service is HORRIBLE I have never spoken to anyone on the phone except to record a statement I have asked so many times for my claims adjuster and the Manager to reach out to me via phone I have emailed and left plenty vm and haven't received a call yetInitial Complaint

My vehicle vas victim of a hit and run on 01/02/2024. Today is 01/22/24 and is the first time I hear an update on my claim. I have been calling the agent assigned to my ******************, and after providing him with the police report, he stopped answering my calls. I can't reach him at his office or his personal phone. He hasn't replied to my messages since two weeks ago. I was given his manager's information, ****, who also never answered his office number and never contacted me after many voicemails left. I decided to send him an email and he finally replied. He's response was the claimed was denied saying the accident didn't qualify under the policy which is a false because my policy does include uninsurance coverage as required by Georgia's law. This company declines valid claims and does not provide any information or updates throughout the process. I've called their office more than 20 times and I was always told that they were investigating and it was still pending. Today I decided to research the company and saw how many bad reviews they have on ******* Many people, including myself, have been victims of their fraud. Many people have had legit claims denied for accidents that are covered under their policy. This insurance company is committing fraud. Please take a minute to see how many bad experiences people have had with them in the past. They shouldn't be in business. All I want is my vehicle fixed which is the reason I pay $400 a month to insure my work vehicle. Please be informed that based on our insured's statement he as using the vehicle for personal use at the time of the loss, which prohibited in this commercial policy. ****************** contends that he is allowed to use the vehicle in any capacity he chooses; however, it was explained to him in detail how the policy prohibits the personal use. I emailed ****************** the exact language of the policy exclusion. Also, please note that ****************** is not the named insured of the policy. He is a listed driver on the policy; therefore, I explained to him that he would need to obtain any policy documents from the named insured. In regard to the Uninsured motorist coverage, we will look into the policy more thoroughly and if the Uninsured motorist covers this claim we will move forward as such. ************** has no issue paying claims when coverage and liability is clear.Initial Complaint

They are not wanting too do their job. This happened at the beginning of December and I have told them a few times that we are left without a car and my wife cant go too work or her doctors appointment she has a heart condition this is not a joke. Their driver was at fault, I paid out of pocket $7,000 for rental cars. They wouldnt provide a rental, Happened 02/13/2022. Its been 9 months, they havent made contact with me. I keep calling and they keep saying their adjuster will reach out. They are avoiding me
