    My current and previous residence are both owned by the same company. Ive had issues from the very beginning! Upon moving into the first location, the house was filthy. The company stated that once they do their initial cleaning the house sits on the market, people tour them and thats all of the cleaning that they offer. I walked into holes in the walls, broken blinds, a hole needing power washing, dirty carpets, both bathrooms needing repairs and toilets reseated, a damaged tub that had chips missing out of it that would cut your foot, a freezer that I later found out wouldnt close properly due to a faulty seal. A dishwasher that was inoperable, counter tops that were swollen with water as they were partiicle board, mold in the kitchen window. A few other issues that were not addressed during my time there. After this company made promises to make good on the requested concessions, to repay me for the water used to power washing the home and the driveway, they still charged me for a hole in the wall that I DID NOT make, i submitted photos from when I moved in and still my money has not been refunded nor the loss of 2 sets of groceries in my freezer have not been replaced. This new location is unsafe, I sent an email to the CEO and he referred me to a **** *. and **** Secretary (Im assuming) and quite frankly Ive spoken with **** several times who claims that he can fix everything but as of yet Im still waiting for him to wave his magic wand. The work that was being done on this current home.. (i went without heat for many weeks, they offered me a 1 night stay at a hotel valued at $150, this was in the coldest months, after 6 techs they put in a replacement furnace., the sink in the kitchen is going to cave in at some point. The doors are not sealed properly so bugs and rodents enter my home. I went for months without a properly working refrigerator. The lock on my front door currently does not work. I have videos and photos, along with emails for your review

    I am filing this complaint because the leasing company for my residence at *********************** has repeatedly ignored my requests to address a black mold infestation in my unit.I first reported the issue on 06/23/2025 and have followed up multiple times, but the leasing company has failed to take any meaningful action. Meanwhile, the black mold problem has worsened and is directly affecting my familys health. We have been experiencing respiratory issues, chronic coughing, headaches, and aggravated allergies/asthma] since the mold *********** a tenant, I have the right to live in a safe and habitable home, and the leasing company has a legal obligation to maintain the property in a livable condition. The presence of black mold violates those obligations and poses a serious health risk.I am requesting that the leasing company:1.Immediately hire a licensed professional to inspect and remediate the mold;2.Provide a written timeline for completion;3.Offer safe accommodations if remediation makes the unit temporarily unlivable.If they continue to ignore this issue, I am prepared to contact local health authorities, code enforcement, and pursue further legal action.I am submitting this complaint to the BBB in hopes that the company will finally take action to resolve this serious health and safety issue.Desired Outcome:Full inspection and professional mold remediation;Written confirmation of completed repairs;Reimbursement for any related medical or relocation expenses, if applicable.

    We moved into a Tricon rental community in Oct. 2024. The main reason was because of the fact their homes have solar and it was told to us over and over that we would only have $85 a month bills compared to the $700 plus we had before. After a few monthly billing cycles we began to notice that our solar was not working properly. We contacted the sales office at which they said they could help but then we would go weeks without hearing from them. We finally escalated our issue to complain through their website. At this point ******* ******, Operations Director, replied back and seemingly we thought it could get resolved. We had to have Sun Run come out to "restart" our panel to get everything up and running. We then went back to ******* to request a credit of some kind considering we are paying a monthly fee to have solar in the first place. She said to send her a few of our PG&E bills and she would take a look at it to come up with a credit. After numerous emails, phone calls, and text messages we have not heard back anything. On top of this we are having maintenance issues with our front door locking. We have put in a maintenance request through their app (they will not take anything over the phone) on 4.30.25 and we have yet to hear from anyone. This is at this point a safety issue. We also can't lock or unlock our front door with the app when we are not home. The app always says the door is locked even if it is not.

    e have been renting from Tricon for almost 10 years and have paid our rent on time and have been good tenants. We have called them several times for a mold issue at our home and emailed them and the completely ignore us. I also sent something certified mail, but it is lost. I emailed them everything that was in the certified envelope 3x and they have not contacted us once. My son is sick and I have sent them his mycotoxin test and a letter from his doctor. We need this rsolved.

    Good morning, I have had trouble with maintenance problems in the home for more than a few years now and I was told that I would receive a credit towards my rent for October from ******** ******* which has been good with following up, for the issues and the water leakage. I check my tenant account and nothing has been applied.

    There was a posting for a coming soon rental property with an estimated move in date of 9/16/24. I applied on 8/4 for a move in date of 8/19 and paid for the deposit and application fee. The applications specialist requested additional information on 8/6. I responded with the requested information the same day. She didn't review the information until 8/10 and I was not approved until 8/12. It is now 9/4 and I still have not heard from the property manager or anyone else from Tricon even after calling multiple times. I am deeply concerned because our move in date should have been in 12 day and I have not heard from anyone.

    Hello,I rented a home from Tricon Residential and lived there for one year. Within the year I lived there, I experienced a myriad of problems with the home and was glad to move out; however, I moved out of the home on March 12 and despite my calls, Tricon has not refunded my security deposit. Per all legal information, Landlords are to return the former tenants security deposit within 30 days. When I called, the customer service representative she stated that my security deposit was approved to be repaid on March 15th - it is now, April 16th and no one has returned my calls or sent my security deposit.I am seeking my security deposit and ask that BBB to assist me in this matter.Thank you,***************************
