    I am writing with a complaint regarding Northside Hospital billing department:1)On March 05, 2024, I had an office visit to Northside Hospital ************************ located in ********* *******. I made a $40.00 payment to the exit desk representative, for the visit copayment of as required by my healthcare insurance and Northside hospital contract.2)The insurance EOB shows the $40.00 amount of the copayment.3)To my surprise on March 22, 2024, I received a bill of $40.00 from Northside Hospital billing department demanding payment of the $40.00 copayment that I made on March 05, 2024. I called ** billing listed and gave them the information of my payment. In addition, I sent a private message to the billing department and sent them a copy of the receipt for my payment.4) ***** on Apr 02, ***** since they still have not resolved the billing I sent to them the following message: Could someone please check again with your cash posting department why they have not yet posted the copay payment I made for this visit. I sent a copy of my payment last week but they still have not posted it and keep showing the $40.00. Thanks!5)I got the following reply: ****** on Apr 03, 2024: Good Afternoon, your account is still pending queue to post the payment. Thank you.6)Sadly, as of this writing they still have not corrected my account. I find it hard to believe that we are in the 21st. century with a well of accounting applications and resources available, that North Side Hospital just do not care to solve a simple accounting error. I find it irresponsible and am frustrated that your representatives have been elusive, and running me in circles avoiding solving a simple issue. I mean they took my payment on the day of the visit, got paid in full, so why does it take so long to resolve this simple issue?7)Attached is the billing invoice, and proof of payment of the invoice.

    Awful customer service- baby born last January and they billed her as Bind. I work for UHG and my wife and I, and baby girl have been on insurance the whole time. They billed it wrong and then by June 2023, sent it to collections even though we never missed a payment on an erroneous bill! ********. Our max out of pocket is $6k per individual and this bill even exceeds that. Surest has no record of it so you know the billing department at Northside is not good at what they do. Now we have to sort out their mistake and get them to stop having collectors ding credit ratings due to their issues. **************** was not helpful as we called multiple times and now the bill has switched collectors and is still active in April of 2024. This is really sad service.
