I paid these guys $499 to install a garage door. Never showed, charged me anyways. Told me if I wrote a review they would call me a racist, and just say whatever. That I would never get my money back. Ive emailed, called the number, tried the online chat... They just block you. Gaslight you, and laugh at you. After looking at all the review/ complaint responses, I see im not the only one. Notice how they always have something wild to say? Never anything professional. Even the quoted time frames for expected returns are outlandish. But, I realized after the fact, I know these guys. They got me with the roadside assistance hustle back in the day. "rescue Robs" I believe. I found out the guy was a pass around in the joint though. Turns out thats why he keeps breaking the law. Because he loves hanging out with the fellas. Hey, to each their own I suppose. But, fair warning to all who order any handyman services... The only think this guy is handy with is servicing pipe. Boy oh boy can he service pipe. Anyways, if thats your thing, you have found the right business. Wow, your in for a treat if your pipes need servicing. But, all other services, buyer beware. I mean, unless your a "homeboy" of his from the joint. Then he will let you hit em with the works. Top to bottom. Only problem is, most of us arent here for that kind of service. I mean, imagine a guy, going up and down the aisles of a plumbing store looking like he is stuck with a permanent yawn on his face. Thats what this guy is really all about. He is a "fellas firsst"type of business, and boy does it show. Think ***** from Reno 911. Thats basically this guy if I was being completely accurate. But, if you wanna chat with the guy, I hear he makes all male adult films when hes not scamming people online. Your welome everybody.Initial Complaint

I paid Earthcare - rent a tech a deposit of $200 on 6/11/2025. They gave me an appointment for 6/12/2025 to install a Tesla charger. They never called and never showed. I tried to call them and they hung up on me. They took my money and never rendered service. I saw the Earth Care Brands ad and immediately read it and started applying. I watched the videos and knew I could do this (as it seemed like a coed type ************** got plenty of experience. I then read where you had to order and pay for a shirt and badge - so BAM I did it!!!!! A few minutes later I said to myself man youre always doing s___ like this without checking it out first.!!! So I said dont be negative -this will be a good opportunity. WRONG!!! I started testing for the job and the guy was always kinda ***** and rude and even made me feel like I was stupid. I tested three times and each time he would word the questions to confuse you with the wording that came from two of their policies instead of the correct one and you could never answer correctly. In the end I must say I felt discriminated upon as a woman and not to mention it was ALL A SCAM!!! I still havent gotten my badge, my shirt, and I guess Ill just forget the refund that I barely even had in the first place. Its really sad that these people were able to advertise themselves this way without being checked out first. Its even worse that theyre going to be able to keep peoples money because nobody really cares about consumers anymore just corporations and their bottom line. Which are all who seem to be taking over our nations economy. I just want my money back and these people shut down!!!Initial Complaint

Set up an appointment with the company needing assistance removing electrical and hvac from a walk in cooler including disassembly and transport of the cooler to a storage location. Earth care wanted up front fee and provided contract stating exactly what was needed to be done. Company posted on ********** to unplug and move a freezer. People that came could not help because they thought it was just to move a refrigerator type freezer and not a walk in. I ended up doing all the work myself with the help of a couple friends. I called the company multiple times that day to tell them what the posted was wrong and no one could help. The only said they would send someone else out. I also advised that their ad on ********** was wrong and the sales *** said he has no control what dispatch does. Their website says their techs are verified and background checked. How is that possible if they are posting on ********** with an address of where to go and I have to pay them?Initial Complaint

If you are a handyman looking for work they will scam you out of your last. They say you have to pass a test that they have given you the information for then they ask questions that are not on the test. This is not a skills or competence test. This test is on 10 video segments on their website. The way around is to buy two courses which after saying all they need is certificates of completion for after presenting the certificates i was asked for two essays one seven pages and the other 20 to 30 pages.SCAM Don't waste your moneyInitial Complaint

I paid for a tech, they did not do the job and took the money. The company exaggerated the hours required, prefer you pay via ***** in advance so you cant get it back. In my case they assigned a Tech that did not do any work, tech closed the ticket as complete and company paid him out. Tech must have been laughing all the way to the bank. I called customer service and they just hung up on me 3 times saying they cant do anything about it and took no accountability. I paid for job they did not perform.Initial Complaint

I went online to seek work. to get information I was required to submit personal information to get to next page. Next page asked me to purchase a company uniform for $47.50 at which time I suspected fraud and decided to get off the site once I asked them to remove my personal data. The chat person laughed at me saying, "sorry, we sell your date to third parties, too late." So I insisted they remove my information and they again said sorry it's in the terms that using their site gives them grounds to sell my personal information and that I would need to talk to their legal department. I asked for legal department contact, they again laughed and stated that they are not required to give me that information or help me find that information. I found a link to refund,, it did not work so I asked their chat what the legal department contact was and the just said it is on the refund page. I hovered over the refund button and was able to read the legal department email address, I have emailed them three times to remove my information. They have refused and sent me an emoji as a response.. a shocked face emoji.Initial Complaint
