I never signed up for this service and I never gave them my card information. They charged USD$1.37 in July 2023 and they have been charging me monthly a fee of USD $44.86 from August 01 2023 thru Oct 31 2023 - Total 4 transactions of USD $44.86.I dont know where to call as I have no records of subscription. I would like a refund for all the monies paid of USD $180.81 for a service I did not sign up for and never gave my card information to.Thank you.Business Response

Upon further review, it appears we did not receive a request to cancel prior to the end of the trial.
In that event, your account was automatically renewed to the monthly subscription.
When signing up for our background reports, the subscription does outline that it will auto-renew until elected to cancel.
You can contact us to cancel at any time, and will not be billed for your next billing cycle.
However, please be assured that your account was cancelled and you were issued a refund of $35.88.

I emailed neighbor who because they have inaccurate information about who lives in my home at ******************************************************************************************** has not lived there for at least 15 years yet his name is associated with this address so we constantly get bill collector notices - I asked them to update their records to reflect ******** and *************************** are the owners and to get rid of the names they have as none of them have resided there for over 15 years - they told me to search the address and copy the url and submit - I searched the address and it wants me to pay to sign up - no other company has made it so I have to pay for my right to change inaccurate information - debt collectors rely on these sites to find people so I have every right to not have my mailbox clogged with collection notices from some person who hasnt lived there in 15 years!Business Response

I was just notified today that this company has been taking an autopay through my PayPal account. I do not recall setting this up, but today was the first time I received an email stating they were charging my credit card via PayPal. I have canceled the account but seek a return of the three months they charged me. ($44.86 per month) I did not receive any service from them.Business Response

I was reviewing my bank statements and saw a 5$ debit from neighborwho.com which I have never heard of . I looked it up and it is DEFINATELY FRAUD! How did they get my account info to take money? 9/28/2023 neighborwho.com withdrew $47.55 from my bank account which I did not authorize! In addition I could not cancel the free trial for whatever reason their phones lines NEVER work even as I write this complaint 10/7/2023. 855 904 **** is not a working number! I did agree to free trial on 9/20/2023 for $5.00. No longer want or need their services but have no way to communicate I want it cancelled and my $47.55 put back in my bank immediately.Business Response

When signing up for our services the terms and conditions in addition to the privacy policy are required to be agreed to prior to signing up.

Our subscriptions are not based on usage; they are recurring subscriptions that will continue to renew until a customer cancels as stated in the agreed terms.
