            National Consumer Telecom & Utilities Exchange (NCTUE) is a member-owned database, through which its member companies exchange information on new service requests, defaulted and/or fraudulent telecommunications, pay TV and utility accounts. Membership is available to cable, electricity/power, phone, gas, water and pay TV providers. NCTUE is managed by Equifax Information Services but does not include Equifax credit information. Equifax is not a member (owner) of NCTUE.

            NCTUE maintains paid as agreed and defaulted information customers of telecommunications, pay TV, and utility companies. Consumers can contact NCTUE to determine if there is a file (information) on them and if so, to request a copy of it.

            Colorado law requires that a consumer reporting agency, such as NCTUE, provide each consumer with a disclosure copy of his or her data report at no charge under certain circumstances. The NCTUE letter mailed directly to the consumer provides instructions for the consumer to obtain their free disclosure.

              Someone got my personal information and opened a utility account in my name. I filed a claim with the *** and they suggested to get my report from NCTUE. I would like to verify the information on my NCTUE report and place a fraud alert and see if I should place a freeze. I tried to request all these things via the phone, entered all my information correctly but was told the requests could not be processed. I would not like to have to mail out and disclose more of my personal information just to get these done as my personal data has already been compromised. Please get me into contact with an agent.

              I received a notification card that either someone have filled a negatives report or have had 8 inquires. Called the number and submitted all of my information. They said it wasn't valid and I'd have to mail in a copy of a current bill, a copy of my Drivers License, and I think a copy of my SS card. I trust none of those to go through the mail. No human to contact to help. Over all a very frustrating experience especially in this day and age.
