    On Friday February 7 2025, I caught the bus from ******** SC hearing to Atlanta Ga and during the process of the ride not only were the bus environment unhealthy due to the ** being broken but my carry on was ruined dut to a passenger drinking alcohol behind me. I called Southeastern Stage and have not been given a resolution but spoken to by one of the representative in a nasty way. I've called and sent an email and is requesting a full refund.

    I booked a bus ticket at ***************** on February 12, 2023 to *******, **. The bus was coming to the Greyhound Station from SouthEastern Stages, *** as it was one of SouthEastern Buses. The bus showed up 2 hours late so I went to the Grehound Counter and asked for a refund and the lady said no refunds whatsoever. Me going to *******. ** from *******, ** two hours late served no purpose to me. They left me no choice but to get on the bus as I was told NO REFUND!! Now Greyhound is not at fault but SouthEastern Stages, *** suppose to take accountability for their mistakes as this was a SouthEastern Bus. As I rode on the bus middle of the night I wrote a complaint email to SouthEastern Stages and they did absolutely NOTHING to refund my money whatsoever. Now if it's a the companies job to pickup the bus riders on somewhat a decent time frame even if the bus is late but the bus being late after 2 hours and they still don't give me a refund is ridiculous!! This bus company does not need to be on the market whatsoever if it's doing customers like this all the time. I am requesting a full refund from SouthEastern Stages, *** as a result of me writing this letter to the BBB.

    The ticket you purchased was non-refundable.  I have attached the section from our website under term and conditions.  Please refer to the terms and conditions on our website under travel information.  We apologize for any inconvenience, but we are unable to issue a refund.  A non-refundable ticket can not be refunded and we cannot guarantee departure or arrival times. Both of these conditions are stated on our website.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    The bus ticket said it was non refundable and that's fine.  But since the bus was 2 hours late then a company such as yours should give me a free bus voucher for anytime in future use.  This would be the right and correct was to keep your unsatisfied guests satisfied.  Let me give you an example.  Ex. If I fly in a Delta plane and it's arrival is 2 hours late and Delta clearly states that the ticket is non-refundable then that's fine I would not get my money back but what Delta would do is give me a voucher for another flight.  They would NOT just say I get nothing!!  So in order to keep the customer happy you suppose to compensate another future bus ticket for free as this was totally SouthEastern Stages, *** fault.  So I am asking for a future free voucher to make things right... that's all!!

    As previously stated, you purchased a non-refundable ticket. Also, as previously stated, our terms and conditions explain we do not guarantee arrival times. You traveled on our bus and arrived at your destination within our terms and conditions, therefore we are sticking to our decision for no compensation for this ticket.

    You are saying that I rode on the bus... of course I rode on the bus as I went to the counter for my refund and could NOT get a refund before the bus even arrived two hours late so I had NO CHOICE but to get on the bus.  If you are late 2 hours it is normal for a business to help a customer our by atleast offering another bus ticket voucher!!  Your company disgusts me and your business should be removed from its existence!!  There's no telling how many other people that your business rips off on a daily!!!!

    This complaint is about Confirmation # ********. Schedule # SES0976 from ********, ** to *******, **. The bus was about an hour late and every staff member was clueless about any delay. The only response was, "I don't know where your bus is or when it will get here". My direct complaint to Southeastern Stages led to a reply that the delay was due to ********************* with Greyhound Lines in ******* ** and therefore a refund isn't warranted. Then when speaking with Greyhound, I'm told that Southeastern stages is responsible (per partnership agreement) because it occured on their bus line. Fyi, I of course understand that delays happen. It's the way in which it was handled that's upsetting, not just for me but all customers waiting. The staff showed zero concern about the fact the we (the customers/ passengers) needed information in order to plan accordingly with our families. The complete lack of communication and concern from the staff was what was awful. This is why I'm requesting a refund of the $22.99.

    Again, I apologize for any inconvenience but we are not issuing a refund for a non-refundable ticket when you rode the bus and our terms and conditions clearly state that we do not guarantee travel time .  I previously attached the terms and conditions that are clearly stated on our website.

    I have two concerns in regards to this company. First one is from a trip I took on 9/22/22 on Schedule Number: **** from ********, ** to ******* **. The bus was over an hour late and arrive over 2 hrs late to *******. I try to communicate this concern via email but never recieve a response. Second issue relates to a trip I took today 10/26/22 on Schedule Number: **** from *******, ** to ********, **. The bus was suppose to depart at 8:20am, but the bus operator waited for passenger who was supposedly purchasing a ticket. After the passenger change their mind we departed at 8:31. It's a schedule stop in ******* for a period of 15 minutes. As some of us try to exit the bus for the break. They driver refuse to let us have one because we were late coming out of *******. My total trip time was over 4 hrs. Not being able to step off to at least stretch on a trip that long is unacceptable. He said we was behind schedule but that was due to the passenger he waited for that change his mind when we could of departed on time.
