    I was quoted for a 12 hour move. They arrived half a day late, could not complete the move in time, and wanted another $1000 to come back to complete the move. That sounds like a scam to me. They broke 2 large items. They worked 11 hours thus said I would get a 1 hour credit ($250). They now refuse/deny I will receive the work credit. Simply do not use this company.

    ***** did not share his billing concern with us until 6/19/24. The items that were damaged were addressed and a claim settlement refund was issued to him on 06.10.24 per the valuation coverage selected the day of his move. Just like his claim settlement was resolved. So has his claim that he was overcharged. He was not charged for 12 hours as claimed. His moving documents clearly state 11.50hours and our truck tracking system (GPS) confirmed that the crew left 30 minutes early which was refunded to *****'s account today ********. ***** should have allowed us the time to research his billing concern before jumping the gun and posting his review. His comments about being scammed and that we refused/denied anything are obviously incorrect and unfounded.

    Using this company was a hassle, and added more stress to an already stressful situation. They were very late, overcharged me from my original quote because they didnt include packing in the full service I requested and let me know only the evening before my scheduled move. They make promises on their webpage that they cant fulfill, and they were the most expensive of the 4 quotes I received. I sent an email with details to several of the contacts I had throughout the move and was not given the courtesy of a response. I will never use or recommend this company again and its a shame they highlight their veteran owned and operating status when they dont uphold the standard. Be careful!!

    Horrible experience with this company.1. ******* with *** Family Movers said hed give a one hour courtesy call when they would be on the way to our home At 4pm and no word, I called *******. Too late due to location of the crew and pending weather. We had to reschedule & take off work another day to accommodate THEIR schedule. When driving down our road, the driver pulled down the overhead power line & the internet line. ******* claimed it couldve happened to any large truck. We have a camper, there is a farm with large trailers, & big trucks travel on our road and this has NEVER happened (we have lived on this road over 20 years). There was no excuse for the driver to be so close to the side of the road and power pole that he pulled down overhead lines with the moving truck. ******** reply made it our problem the lines were too low and never a concern regarding his driver that also caused damage to the moving truck. The power was restored the same day. It took several days before the internet company could get our line repaired. *** Family Movers offered no concern or compensation. PURE NEGLECT on the driver, yet we were the ones inconvenienced for days without service. ******** and his team broke our bedroom dresser mirror. The quote to replace the mirror is $325. Their response to my claim was a SETTLEMENT OF $12.00 with the response, Id like to increase your settlement offer to an even $50.00. My husband was in the room when they broke the mirror, so there is no question as to what happened. We understand accidents do happen but this was due to PURE NEGLIGENCE and they knew it. The insurance they offer was $429 without deductible and $142 for the insurance with a $300 deductible, so that would not offer any compensation for our broken mirror. Although very frustrated with ******************************** and moving crew, we gave each mover a tip because it was the right thing to do. It seems like this moving company could do the right thing as well.

    Please dont use they will over charge you they went to lunch for hour and a half and charge me for two hours. Yes you read that right they took a lunch for a hour and a half and changed me an extra 500. They ripped my furniture the headboard and put a piece of tape on it. They didnt tell they ripped it or anything. Please dont use them

    Do not use *** Family Moving !!! They ruined so much of my stuff ! Unprofessional- slow- no experience. Literally screwed through my dresser with the wrong screws or didnt use any at all. I think they marked every wall possible ! One mover even turned on a stove burner and almost had the place ** in flames as he walked by! Management wants me to do this ridiculous claims process now. No apology ! Such a waste of time and money! They clearly hire day laborers with no moving experience. You are better off getting teenagers from the mall. I moved the majority of the things myself in advance and it still cost me over 1k. They promise white glove service but cannot deliver at all.

    I was in a crunch to hire movers since the ones I had hired cancelled on me. I called *** and was immediately greeted with a friendly voice, who helped ************ for the very next day. Knowing I was in somewhat of a panic, the individual assured me they would be there for my move and explained the entire process. I have never been met with such care in a company and cannot thank them enough. The crew arrived to my house ready to go & before you know it I was at my forever home unpacking boxes. Thank you for the class, care, and respect for me through this whole process. I recommend them to anyone I know moving!
