To Whom It May Concern:I am filing this complaint against Sengled USA, ***** for what appears to be a pattern of deceptive trade practices, breach of implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and grossly deficient customer service that borders on bad faith.On or about June 19, 2025, Sengled experienced a server outage that rendered its smart lighting products and associated mobile application nonfunctional for approximately four (4) consecutive days. On or about July 9, 2025, Sengleds Alexa ***** failed, severing account linkage and depriving customers of promised voice control functionality.These failures substantially impaired the intended and advertised use of the product. Further, Sengled failed to provide any notice, acknowledgment, or resolution timeline to affected customers. All of my attempts to contact ********************** via all published support email addresses, its support portal, and its Zendesk platform received no response whatsoever. The only acknowledgment of the outages came indirectly from Amazon.Sengled continues to market and sell these products without adequate disclosure of their persistent technical failures, and it has ignored at least twenty-eight (28) complaints currently on file with the BBB, maintaining an F rating. As a disabled consumer who depends on voice-controlled lighting for accessibility and safety, these failures raise serious concerns regarding compliance with consumer protection statutes and accessibility obligations.This issue is ongoing with no resolution in site, this has been going on for over 29 days and they still sell and market the bulbs as working with alexa ********* sre having to throw there bulbs away to purchase from another company.Initial Complaint

I purchased a Sengled Hub and 6 lights from ******. The hub stopped responding, so I purchased another one. I then purchased 4 Sengled Wi-Fi lights. Since mid-June, the hub and its associated lights have lost their connectivity and "smart" functions, and 2 of the 4 Wi-Fi lights have also stopped working properly.I sent an email to Sengled customer service on July 12, 2025, to which they sent an auto-response stating that I would receive a formal response within 24 hours. Sengled devices have recently been crashing, not connecting, giving errors, just about anything other than work properly. These issues began around the end of May 2025 and have yet to be resolved. Thousands of other users of Sengled devices are experiencing the same issues. There has been ZERO statement, or response from the company upon trying to contact, no way to reach customer service personnel by phone, no possible timing or explanation for resolution of the issues, nothing.Initial Complaint

This company failed to keep their server up after selling smart lights, controllable by phone. For a week now, the server has been down, completely preventing me from controlling my lights. I am disabled, 70 years old and depended on this technology. Purchases totaled $39.00.Initial Complaint

They have had an widespread outage for 3 days with no acknowledgement from the company publicly that there is an issue or that they are even working on it. They do not answer support tickets and their support phone number that come with the bulbs leads to a ******** scam. Many of us rely on these smart bulbs. My wife is 100% disabled and legally blind. She has great trouble seeing light switches so voice controls are key. Outages happen but not for three days and not without some kind of acknowledgement from the company that there is an outage. ****** had to acknowledge the outage to it's customers because ********************** was doing nothing and ****** doesn't know more than we do other than it's down. This is unacceptable business behavior and goes against all best practices for IT outages. You can't even login to their app which the lights are dependent upon. I had to replace 24 light bulbs in my house with another brand just to get voice controls working again. I want a refund for all these useless bulbs that were all bought within the last 18 months.Initial Complaint

Sengled Home app, used to control smart lights and plugs, is not working. Any action just says "operation failed". This issue has been happening for 3 days now, with no way to contact the company. All emails get an automated response, phone number doesn't reach customer service. There is no update at all on this country wide issue from the company. No solution or resolution time offered.
