    I am the second owner of a Starlight Home built in 2017. Recently water started to pour in the garage during a rain event, so I had a roofer come take a look. They went to replace the flashing and come to find out, the nails holding in the shingles are rusting. So now the whole roof needs to be replaced, because as the roofer shared, this roof was installed improperly. Of course, the "Home Warranty" provided by Starlight, is only good for 1 year for the roof. So, I am now paying out of pocket to fix an issue that never should've existed. These homes are poorly constructed, and I am terrified to figure out what else they did a sub-par job at. I hope this finds someone thinking about purchasing a Starlight Home, because my advice is STAY AWAY. Do not give these mediocre builders any money, it will cost you in the long run. They only care about making themselves money, and don't care who gets negatively affected by that in the long run. Starlight Homes or *********************** will never see a ***** from me.

As with all homes, regular maintenance is essential over time, particularly for components like roofing that are exposed to the elements. Galvanized steel nails are coated with zinc to prevent rust, but this coating can be scratched or worn, exposing the base metal. Rust is a chemical reaction between iron, water, and oxygen. Even in a relatively dry environment, moisture can accumulate on the roof and lead to rust. While we understand the frustration that comes with unexpected repairs, we encourage all homeowners, whether original or subsequent, to consult with licensed professionals and follow routine upkeep to preserve the integrity of their home.     I just moved in last weekend and tried to use my NEW washing machine. It filled up with water and just stopped. I have tried getting help from the ************** and 2-10 Fake Warranty. They both keep pushing me towards each other. Stating they do not do that, and that I would need to reach out to the builder. When I do reach out to the builders, they tell me they don't do that to reach out to 2-10. Run around after run around and this so-called brand-new washing machine still is not working and I still today 12-26-24 cannot get anyone to come out and look at my washing machine that has never ever worked since day one. I am very disappointed with Starlight homes at *********** and will not tell anyone to move in here. P.S. Thanks my work clothes and my spouse work clothes are mildewed and destroyed. I will give ZERO stars.

    We just recently moved into a starlight home property, and they moved us in without providing the keys for the property mail and now we have gone two weeks with no mail, and nobody has gotten in contact with anybody from the property to advise us of anything and we are losing important documents like the deed to our "NEW HOME" and important documents from our employer! We had to move in within the month and nothing was ready also had to argue with Spectrum when I work from home because the fiber optics weren't in as promised so they couldn't activate our WIFI. THIS IS RIDICULOUS! Someone needs to get in control cause people are losing the documents needed for bills!

    Ive had nothing but trouble with Starlight Homes. It first started when I asked to have an inspector come out to look at the house before they put up drywall. I hired an inspector to come out, but I got an half-hearted oops we forgot you wanted that and the builder already put up the drywall. So I move into the house in august 2020, and started having problems with the flooring. I thought that maybe theyre new floors and they pop a little when walking on them. I really started having trouble with the floors toward the end of 2022. A lot of the flooring was cracking and coming up. I called Starlight and was given the sorry warrantys up routine. They blamed the flooring on ****, saying that the material was defective. I contacted Strathmore flooring, who was contracted to install the floors when built, and they agreed to lay down new flooring for $2k, this was after they took off 680 for materials. They came out and took up the entire flooring and said we cant lay down the new flooring, because you have moisture coming up through the floor. You need to call the builder and have them come out and do a test to see where the water is coming from. Ive called starlight homes and theyre unwilling to do anything. Im very upset with this company they do not build quality homes, and then they shrug their shoulders when something goes wrong. Im literally sitting here with no floors because of the shotty workmanship of the builder.

    Do not purchase without a lawyer or real estate professional !!! Do not give a deposit ! You will be told of great incentives if qualified through their lender Trailblazer. I did not qualify through trailblazer and am going to get robbed for a 5k deposit. **** numerous requests for refund and was told to get a lawyer.
