The level of professionalism I have experienced with your company is absolutely disgraceful. Calling clients names, hanging up the phone, and providing misinformation just to secure new business is unacceptable. To make matters worse, my emails and phone calls have gone unanswered. This type of behavior reflects a complete lack of respect for customers, and I can go on with additional examples. Please be advised that I will be filing a formal complaint with the *************************** and other relevant authorities.

Good Evening!  This customer received over $1400 more than his initial offer.  This matter is closed and his claim has been finalized.  No further communication is necessary.

I am rejecting this response because:

This matter is not about money. It is about principle, ethics, and the protection of other consumers.
I was provided misinformation simply to secure my business. Once I became a customer, my calls and emails were ignored.
Representatives engaged in name-calling and offensive remarks directed at me. This is a clear violation of basic professionalism and respect.
Calls were abruptly ended, and no genuine effort was made to resolve legitimate concerns.
This type of conduct demonstrates a disturbing lack of accountability, honesty, and ethical standards. As a physician, I hold myself to high professional standards, and I expect the same from any company I engage with. The behavior I experienced is unacceptable and should not be tolerated by any consumer. I am  documenting all interactions

    Sincerely,

This customer has threatened legal action against us and has slandered our good name.  Our attorneys advised us not to respond any futher.

Again, this is unprofessional behavior. I was never his cardiologist, nor has he ever been seen by me. The statement he posted was in retaliation to a legitimate complaint. This is a clear attempt at character assassination and cannot be ignored.

Wreck Check Atlanta-WCA was paid for an expert report on the diminished value of my *** automobile because of an accident. Information about the extent of their services was provided in a phone call, an email, and information on their website.Attached email of 5/7 states: Diminished Value is the difference in a property's market value before and after it has been damaged and repaired. [note repaired]On their website, the report purchased was Diminished Value Appraisal [attached]. It states one of the services included is a report Wreck Check Atlanta Diminished Value Report: A detailed analysis of your vehicles diminished value. Their definition of "diminished value" is provided on their webpage What is Diminished value [attached]. They state there are three aspects: Immediate Diminished Value, Inherent Diminished Value, and Repair Related Diminished Value. Based on this, I believed I was to receive a report that included diminished value as a result of the accident and diminished value if all the necessary repairs were not done or the repair work was done in a shoddy way. I provided the requested material of the estimated work and the full extent of the damage is still unknown. *** provided me their report shortly thereafter. I was surprised and tried to contact them since they only had preliminary information. They did not respond to multiple emails nor were my phone calls returned. Finally on 5/17, ** ******* responded to my email (attached). One of my points was that the report needs to include his opinion of the value of the car after seeing if the all the work was done and that the repair was not such that it lowered the value even more than his initial estimate. RJs response stated: This is an inherent diminished value report and [an] inherent diminished value does not account for visible defects or substandard repairs. I believe the report should include all the aspects mentioned in their definition of Diminished Value.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. At Wreck Check Atlanta, we strive to provide transparent and professional appraisals that accurately assess inherent diminished value based on industry standards.
Our inherent diminished value appraisal is specifically designed to determine the loss in market value due to a vehicles accident history, independent of any repair quality concerns. As outlined on our website and in prior communications, this report does not require an in-person inspection, as inherent diminished value is assessed using documentation, market data, and standardized evaluation methods.
For customers seeking an additional post-repair inspection to evaluate potential repair-related diminished value, we offer a separate service. This inspection requires an in-person assessment and is priced at $1,000. We informed you of this distinction before proceeding with your appraisal, and you ultimately declined the post-repair inspection service.
Regarding communication, we do our best to respond promptly to inquiries, though we apologize if you experienced any delay. We appreciate your understanding and remain committed to providing fair, objective, and independent appraisals.
If you have any further questions, we are happy to assist.

I am rejecting this response because the statements are not factually true.  I included the website information that response shows the website clearly states it does not include visual review of repair.  Just the opposite is true and I provided the actual website text and also that the report provides "a complete diminished value report" and on another page it defines what a diminished value report includes (I provided that also).  Their $1,000 report is for determining the damage that was done, I did not need that because the insurance company and collision repair shop had already done that.  If the repairs did not visibly alter the diminished value, then a blind report was fine.  However if there were major color differences or dents not resolved, the diminished value would be higher.  My request was that he look at the vehicle not determine anything missing or not repaired.  He would not do a visual inspection as part of their stated "complete report".

I would ask that BBB review the provided web page information I provided and provide an opinion as to an ordinary meaning of Wreck Check's offered services

    Sincerely,

Our website and service agreement do not indicate that an in-person vehicle inspection is included as part of the appraisal process. Additionally, the customer received his money back while still retaining our work product at no cost.

I did challenge the charges with the credit card company and Wreck Check did not respond so the charge was cancelled.  Wreck Check's comment that I have their "Work Product" is misleading.  The work product was supposed to be based on the repairs done.  Wreck Check provided a document before the estimate was done and before any work was done.  Their "report" was/is totally useless because of that.  Because of the dispute, I retained (and paid) for another diminished value expert that did use the final repair information AND reviewed the vehicle upon completion of the work.  I am using that report to work with the insurance company.

    Sincerely,
