  Failed to show up on my scheduled day off even though I called the day before, texted, left voice mails, called day of service. Finally got a hold of a live person on the scheduled day and the guy had the nerve to ask how much was the estimate? It was a simple job,low amount, never showed up.

  My husband and I were getting estimates on removing about 14 trees in our backyard and I wanted to go with the first company that gave us an estimate. My husband wanted to get some more estimates and called Cheap and Great tree service and they came out and told us it would be *********. My husband said ok and I just shook my head and said no way. He asked if I had other estimates and I said yes and he asked how much the estimate was for and I said ******** dollars less than his estimate. He started coming down on his estimate and I still wasn't feeling it. They were high pressured and I just got a bad feeling about them. They came down on their estimate again until they got to ******** and my husband said yes. Then they told me they needed a ****** deposit and I really got nervous. I didn't want to pay anything up front but my husband talked me into it. They showed up the next day and I'll admit they worked like a well oiled machine and I was happy. When they were done they wanted payment for the remaining ******** but they hadn't done the ***** grinding yet so I said I didn't feel comfortable giving them the rest until the grinding was completed. After a few hours the guy showed up with the grinder and finished. I was put on the phone with the office girl and she advised me that they charged 5% more to process my card so it would be ********. I said nobody told me about that and I was angry but paid it anyway. I still had one more tree that I wanted to keep but it made my neighbor nervous so I called them back to get an estimate to remove it and the guy came gave me an estimate but I forgot to mention the ***** grinding coupon I had at the time of the estimate so they wouldn't do the grinding unless I paid for it. That didn't make me happy. I scheduled with them anyway and I were supposed to be here the next afternoon. They took a ****** deposit and I waited all day for them to show up and called several times. They never showed up. Don't use them they are shady.

  This company's name perfectly describes them because the service I received was exactly cheap and great. They came with a crew big enough to get the job done safely and took down 16 trees, any of which could have destroyed my house. They operate in an efficient manner with excellent equipment. One crew takes the trees down, another comes later to pick up the piles, and then another will come to grind the stumps. They were very polite and cleaned up everything well. I really wonder about any negative reviews of this company because, if I were to give them less than five stars, I would not be truthful. I could have never afforded the job I had done without them. I know this because I priced it with another company. I would also like to give a special thanks to *****, ****** and ****, the leaders who were always responsive to my phone calls and very polite when doing the estimate.

  They did do a good job of trimming and clean up. However two large bushes were removed that had stumps and in the estimate they were asked and gave the impression they would grind or remove the stumps. They did not and when I complained they said they needed extra money for that. I found somebody else to remove them much less than what they wanted. I would not use this tree service again.

  PLEASE READ On May 16, 2025, I hired Cheap and Great Tree Services to clear my backyard. I paid (cash price, receipt in photos) for all trees to be cut and all stumps to be ground. The crew worked while I was at my job, and when I returned that evening it was getting dark, so the work looked complete.The next day, May 17, I noticed several stumps had not been ground at all, just buried by the wood chips. On May 19, I contacted the company, sent photos as requested, and also asked about pricing to remove the large amount of wood chips left behind (2-3 ft deep across the yard). Since then, I have followed up multiple times (May, June, and most recently September 17) and each time I've been asked to resend photos. Despite doing so, I still do not have a scheduled date for them to come back and finish the job.Most recently, on September 17, I was told they would provide me a date by the following day, but when I called to follow up, the call was either disconnected or I was told "we don't have an answer yet." When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told someone would "get back with me," but no resolution has come.I want to be clear: I am not asking for anything extra -- only for the company to finish the work I already paid for. Once this is resolved, I will gladly update this review to reflect that the company stood behind their work.Key takeaway for others: do not pay until you confirm the job is 100% complete. I've been waiting four months for this to be addressed.

  If I could leave a zero I would. Yes, their pricing is good, but their service and attitude is horrible. I was told I would get a copy of their insurance when their salesperson ****** had us sign the contract. I was not home when they started, and they never supplied it. My wife and neighbors watched how careless and reckless they were cutting down our trees. One fell and hit the house causing over $4000 worth of damage to the gutter, roof and chimney. When I called, their attitude was Oh well we will get it fixed. They also caused a lot of damage to my sod, drainpipes and knocked down trees with the bobcat that were perfectly healthy. Their trucks leaked oil all over the street and was told they would clean it up. They sent a landscaper over. He was just as horrible as the tree company that sent them over. He came with a new dogwood tree to plant, only came with a shovel. I had to supply the bags of dirt. Did a terrible job tying a tree up that they knocked over with the bobcat as well. I had to supply the pool noodle to protect the trunk of the tree. They used a frayed rope, so it has already broke. The kicker was they wanted me to supply the water for the power washer for them to clean the oil on the street. I refused so they never did it.The only saving ***** was we had a balance that I refused to pay. Thank goodness for the GA Prompt Payment Act, GA Code 13-11-5 Section A. They called me a few times threatening me. I told them I would pay but they needed to supply their insurance information first. They refused to and have not answered to several emails. I sent them texts that they replied to letting them know I have emailed them. The work and damage was done back in June after the big storm. It is now September. If you don't want headaches, I would suggest avoiding this company.

  They did not arrive at the scheduled estimate time. When I called to inquire as to the no-call-no-show, they said they were running way behind. I stated that they should have at least called to inform me they were either not going to show, or would be very late. I told them to cancel the appointment, since it was 30mins to nightfall, then I hung up. He IMMEDIATELY called back, and said "F-you, you stupid A$$ B!+ch", and hung up. --PLEASE, PLEASE... NOBODY USE THIS HEDONISTIC COMPANY!

  The recent service from *********************************************** Tree Services was disappointing. The crew arrived two weeks late, and the work quality was subpar, with branches left in the yard. When a follow-up visit was requested to complete the trimming, the manager became agitated and mentioned the initial cost, stating he can't afford to send someone back to my house..etc *********** previously offered excellent service. However, based on this experience, the services are not recommended due to inconsistent quality and unprofessional Leadership service.

  This morning your crew came to my home o cut tree limbs and did a horrible job. I advised them of the terrible job. I asked ***** to ensure the guys understood to take away all branches and leaves. They dumped some of the branches and leaves over my fence.They butchered the trees and even broke some of the branches!
