    On 7/9/2025 I received by text an estimate from Mr. **** ********************** for a laundry room renovation. This included: removing mold damaged drywall behind washer and dryer up to 48 inches in height wall to wall. Replace with half inch drywall. Install new laminate floating floor home owner provided. Build custom cabinets and countertop with folding 48 inch long deep white shaker doors with an x on front. Fabricate custom wall between cabinets and floating shelves to right. Replace existing five doors with new doors same look as new cabinet. Pantry area install three new custom shelves to fit existing space. Remove existing baseboard and replace with similar. Total cost for both: $6235.00 50% deposit 39% due once floor and cabinets starts going in. Remaining balance due on finish. Start date around 7/28/2025. On 7/9/2025 Mr. ********************** came to my house to pick up a check for $3200.00. On 7/10 he returned with drywall to replace old. He replaced, and mudded new drywall, then left. Over the weekend I sanded, put primer on walls, and hung wallpaper. On 7/16 Mr. ********************** returned to install flooring provided by me. He returned later to pick up a second check for 1265. He had not started cabinet installation per estimate instructions but wanted second payment. I went out of town, as I had planned, and sent Mr. ********************** a text on 7/29 telling him I was home and ready to go with cabinets and shelves. I sent another text on 7/30 asking if he saw my text. No response again. Sent another text on 8/11 with no response.i also called him on two days and left voicemails asking what was going on. No responses to any of my attempts. I sent texts on 8/13 and 8/14 imploring Mr. ********************** to contact me about finishing my job. I called 8/18 and asked again to please contact me or refund my deposit. No respinse. I sent a text later and told him I would be filing a complaint. I do not understand why he would not respond so I want my money refunded minus the work he completed.

    We contracted **** ********************** on 8/5/24 to complete a comprehensive master bathroom renovation. This includes:Demo and disposal Install new toilet, bathtub, vanity, sinks, countertop, lighting, exhaust fans, drywall, trim, tiling and fixtures Mr. ********************** collected $7,500 upfront. We asked that he not start the project until he was able to devote his time to our renovation without interruption. He agreed and signed a contract stating it would take approx. 3 weeks to ***********. ********************** started the project on 9/4. For five days he partially demoed the floor and shower. Mr. ********************** then informed us that he had to take care of another project and did not return until 10/21 to continue our project. He was back for a little over a week and requested payment despite no major accomplishment. We (foolishly) paid him $2,000, bringing the total paid to $9,500. Mr. ********************** continued slow progress for one more week. His last time ever showing up was on 11/8. Nothing *********** then became nearly impossible to get a response from him. When he responded it was to provide an excuse and give us a date that would come and go without him showing up. On 12/12, Mr. ********************** sent us a text promising that he would be back to restart on 1/20/25. He did not show up on 1/20 but promised 1/27. He did not show up on 1/27, again providing excuses and promising that if he was not at our house on 2/5 that he would refund us all our money. He did not show up on 2/5 but chose to show up at a neighbor's house to work on a separate project. When confronted, Mr. ********************** promised to refund our money by 2/13. Mr. ********************** did not refund our money by 2/13 and has not refunded us a single cent to this day, 3/16. We have since hired a new contractor to complete the renovation. This contractor has had to demolish the small amount of progress completed due to deficiencies and egregious issues with Mr. **********************' work. We have had to repurchase shower floor tile for an additional $350 out-of-pocket.

    Contracted Mr ********************** in March of this year to repair flooring in my living room and dining rooms. I am a snowbird so he agreed to do the repairs in late May after I left for the summer. I gave him $2500.00 as half payment. Remaining paid on completion of the work. I texted him the day I left ******* per his request. I have not heard from him since. Repeated texts and phone messages have not been returned.

    I had used **** Harris for several renovation projects between June 2022 and Oct 2022. Once completed, we agreed on a coffee bar project (two custom cabinets, floating shelves, backsplash labor install and wood panel surround for our stacked washer dryer). Project totaled $2,400 and I gave him a check for $1,200 (#****) with work promised completed by Thanksgiving. That came and went and the excuses started. I contacted him no less than ***** times over last 10 months to have work completed or deposit returned. On three different occasions (I have texts), he agreed he had issues and was working through them and assured us he would make us whole on way or another (twice in person).He has since ghosted me and refuses to answer any calls, emails or texts.He does good work but the follow through is ridiculous. I just want the work I paid for completed or my $1,200 returned.
