      This company ask me to put down $500 to hold the vehicle that I brought from them. They told me it was refundable once I have my vehicle in possession and I have my vehicle for over 2 weeks now. I try to reach out to them plenty of time with calls and texts and emails and I dont get no response from them. All I want is my $500 back. This company take a long time to get back to people. I recommend to do your research with company before buying a vehicle with them. I think they are scamming people

      I purchased a car in February 2024 from The Taverna Collection dealership. They represent themselves as a dealership who can deliver anywhere in the US. They contacted with a delivery service who damaged my front bumper when unloading the car. I have video and pictures showing everything. When I contacted the dealership they said I have to go through delivery companys insurance. I filed a claim and was denied due to the delivery company not having insurance covering deliveries to individuals. I counted the dealership letting them know that the company they contacted with was not insured to deliver to individuals. They told me that the delivery company scammed us both and theres nothing they can do. The total cost to repair is over $6,000. I was also told that the General Manager would reach out to me to discuss further. The ** never contacted me.

      The Customer never purchased a vehicle. The Customer attempted to purchase a vehicle, however supplied fradulent pay stubs to the lending institution in an attempt to defraud them.Also attached is a sample pay stub from "Real Check Stubs".com, the site the Customer used to try to fake her pay statements. 

      Notwithstanding the fact that we, nor any reasonable dealership, would have agreed to/be able to pay a rental reimbursement of over $3,000, we certainly can't if the transaction didn't finish due to the Customer's attempts to defraud the lending instution.

      I purchased a used car from Taverna with the EXPRESSED concern that this be completely checked out mechanically, computer system and ************** was to be notified of any repairs that needed to be made. ******************) assured me, especially since I was an out own town buyer, that the majority of their sales were out of town buyers, all systems would be checked and repairs would be made. As far as body I was sent video of inside & outside of car. **** informed me after their mechanics checked it out that an oxygen sensor needed replacing (he later said it was a motor mount sensor and then changed back to oxygen sensor) and they would rather have Jaguar do that so it would take a bit of time. I was assured all else was in top shape. I made my initial hold payment of $519.45 on 1/6/24. I went to my bank and paid the balance of $22,000 on a wire transfer on 1/8. **** said that the car will be fixed & transported ASAP. I was told initially that I had 7 days to have my car inspected. By the time I received my car I only had a week left on my 30 day tag. I called Taverna back and spoke with a man ****. I told him I could get Jaguar to inspect @$350 or I could go to a reliable repair place close to me and they can do it but it would be over the 7.day period. He said the would gladly extend that period since Jaguar would find every little thing wrong. I know I should have stopped then, but made the appointment. I received my car, completely covered in mud which made for an impossible body check. I checked what I could and wipers didnt work-not wipers themselves, the motor was burned out. I also saw a place that looked like something was melting on the bumper. I took it to the place up the street. The wiper motor was as blown, 2 tires were bald, the battery was less than 30%=~$2000. bumper was attached ************ ties! **** blocked my #, I called & it says my wait is ***** min. Now in over $4,000 with more to fix. Sensor codes still come up they promised to fix

      I am rejecting this response because: I was promised a car that would pass ** inspection. What I received was a car that I was informed by **** that their service **** had run a report to make sure that there were no obvious fixes that needed correction. **** informed me that my car needed an Oxygen Sensor replaced (he later changed that to a Motor Mount Sensor, then back to an Oxygen Sensor). **** informed me one time that they felt better if Jaguar took care of this problem, another time I was informed that that would be accomplished in house through their service department but would take at least a week because They have at least 200 cars pass through their ****************** every week. **** informed me that the sensor was the only thing that came up on the printout. **** also advised me that they would do a scrupulous detail on my car so I would be so excited (?) (unsure of verbiage used here) when I received my beautiful shiny car. It took so long to receive my car that Taverna had  over $22,500 of my money almost 2 months before I received it. When I did receive the car it was covered in dirt. I had no reason to suspect that this was anything suspect, just what gathered on the trip here. As soon as the car was unloaded and I was looking at it I noticed that the bumper appear to have a substance that was melting and the dirt had been done to try to cover this up but due to the heat of traveling from ** it started to melt and give way. I have pics of this. I got n the car to check all systems, (brake lights, horn etc). When I got to wipers they did not move. No matter what I did. I had an appt with a mechanic that had been doing business in our town for over 25 years. When speaking with **** about getting the car checked out in this end I told him my preference was Jaguar, but their was a trusted mechanic (I had never been to as my last car was a Classic Jaguar and I only let Jaguar do repairs) but many friends and neighbors had gone there-they have 4.8 out of 5 stars on ****** reviews-this is a small town. When I took the car into Carrolls (repair shop) I mentioned that the wipers would not move at all. When I was called later by a mechanic from the repair shop he told me they ran a report to see what mechanically/computer needed to be fixed. I was told the report showed that not only did it show the wiper motor was burned out and would need to be replaced-it also showed that it had 4 codes that showed up as being problematic:

      1) b1083-71 ************************** Inoperative 

      2) b1c45-67  Wiper Park Position Switch out of range 

      3) p0430  Catalyst ******************* 2

      4) p0299-00 Turbo Charger *********************** systems seemed to pass. I was advised that the battery, even when the mechanic tried to charge showed under 30% charge-well under acceptable range. I was also informed that 2 of the 4 tires inspected were so bald that they would not pass NC inspection. I had been without a car since 12/13/2023 and felt given the information that I would be reimbursed as I took the car to the mechanic that **** preferred-Can you take it to the mechanic you have in town? Jaguar goes out of their way to find every little thing. Fixing the blown out wiper motor, replacing 2 tires and and sub-sufficient battery were all things that HAD to be replaced to pass ** inspection which I honestly thought I would have to have an ** inspection to get a new plate so I asked them to fix the bare minimum. The mechanic also informed me that my suspicion of glue in the front bumper was Not only correct there was more but they did not do Collision repair and they didnt refer because if things go wrong with Collision people tend to associate that with the referrer so I paid my bill $2099.25. I found Premier Collision who although a new business they had good ratings. I made an appointment and went to Premiere. One of the techs (and the business owner) came out to see because of my allegations. When they individually lnspected the bumper they were horrified, as was I, that not only was I correct that there was glue being used to make the bumper appear fine (as stated before-but now confirmed) the white stuff noted on the bumper was indeed melting glue, but the bumper was also being held in by ZIP TIES!! I not only have pictures of this I have a part of one of the zip ties that broke off when one of the guys was examining. Everyone in the shop came out  to see this. It was such egregious fraud that it was almost breathtaking to all to examined it. Mind you, this was a new business, NOT new collision mechanics. To have this fixed was $2.221.38 now bringing my total out of pocket to $4320.63. This was just to make this car SAFELY DRIVABLE! To add insult to injury when I picked up my car from the collision shop it was raining. Of course the passenger side wiper had a tear in it. This did not effect driving to a horrible extreme but it did impair some forward looking vision toward the right. I had to stop and buy one wiper @ $26.80. The other things in the print out have not been addressed as I am tapped. I thought my other car would last me until.. I decided for once in my life I would treat myself and bought this car. The most I have ever paid and now with these add  ons + the other things that printed out and I was told by ******** that they saw some transmission fluid, just some drops, so it could have just been a fluke they dont do transmissions. I cant afford this car and quite frankly any Dealership that would do these type of things, I mean glue and zip ties????? I dont want anything else from their lot. I tried contacting them the day of see ******** not to find that **** had blocked my number. I called the office and was told my hold time would be approx either 120minutes or 1200 minutes, I really dont remember as I was so furious. I called another #I had for them and it kept telling me I was next in line-for over 20 minutes. I am a disables Senior Citizen (since 2007) who worked 25 years before going  on disability. I have suffered greatly financially due to this blatant fraud and, in my opinion, they should have their business license taken away. Ripping off disabled Seniors? Can you go much lower? I have to go to DMV to get copy of Bill of Sale and will send to you with copies of repair bills and if I can figure out pictures Ill send those too. I have to beg rides as I wont drive that car. There has been 12 miles put on it since delivery and that is due to driving back and forth to repair shops. Im scared to drive it  and Im disgusted to even look at it. Ive now spent (including filling up before I knew about all of this) $27,000. I could have purchased a new car or a much better used car. I will send all forms requested this afternoon when I get back from DMV. I would like my money paid back in full as these people completely lied about having this car fixed and in good working shape. I fully believe they did this knowingly (per the printout showing wiper motor) and there is no way they did not know this bumper was held in by glue and zip ties. I do feel this is reason enough for them to come get this car (I will pay the return fee which they have posted in the mid $400 area) or they can take the $400 out of the $27,000 (approx) that they owe me. She signed forms acknowledging that she is purchasing an as-is vehicle and she signed forms acknowledging that we do not reimburse for any mechanical or cosmetic issues that are currently present on the vehicle.

      Apparently I appear to be out of options as far as BBB is concerned. I am still pursuing this business in several other areas. I beg of you not to close this complaint as Satisfactorily Resolved as it is not so.  This business has acted outrageously and to prey on Senior Citizens (who are also disabled) is reprehensible. These people have lied over and over again and apparently will get off with no repercussions. I dont understand how you claim to have Inspected and fixed all areas that needed attention when the car was delivered not only still showing the printout of what was needed to make this car safe, but also came with the front bumper Literally Hanging by glue and actual zip ties. This is horrifying and that they are allowed to (apparently) continue to get away with this is beyond me. It is nice to know that they have set up in *******, the ******* of ******* Seniors in the **** where they are fishing in an aquarium. I will have spent, in total, approx $30,000 for a 2017 USED CAR that I had been assured was road ready and would easily pass ** inspection (all a lie). If Karma is a real thing these people need to start looking over their shoulders as payback for such egregious, hateful and unethical business practices WILL come back around. My biggest regret is that I wont be there to bear witness. I pray that it is swift and painful and the last thing that goes through their mind is my name. Again, I really do understand that your hands are tied and there is not much you can do. I thank you for doing all you have.  As stated Ive not given up hope as I have more avenues to pursue leaving reviews on EVERY SINGLE REVIEW SITE KNOWN TO MAN and making my case known. These will be devastating reviews that cannot be challenged as the truth is the greatest defense. Thanking you again for your help. Respectfully, ********************

      I am rejecting this response because: I believe that this business does business of the lowest caliber and that they go back in their word time and time again while laughing at you by blocking your number by the salesman or saying your wait time is 1200 minutes. These people have no morals and should be put out of business.

       

      On another subject,  please forgive what I wrote as a response yesterday. I am not in good health and on top of pain problem I have PTSD and chronic anxiety. I was very frustrated and let down. This is why they are not a member of BBB as their rating would be very low, but I sincerely apologize. Im just very tired of this and it has left me lying down much of the day and not sleeping at night. Im really not crazy, just frustrated at this entire situation. Again, Im very sorry.

      I purchased a vehicle from The Taverna Collection through Car Gurus on Feb 9, 2024. I was told that shipping would be arranged as soon as certified fu is arrived, which was Tuesday, Feb 13. I informed the salesman my old car could not be picked up until either Feb 27 or the new car arrived, whichever was 1st. As of Feb 21st, my new car still sits on the lot, when it should have been here by now. To make matters worse, they sent a truck to pick up my old car, knowing full well that I had medical appoi ***** and could not be without a car. Had my car been picked up, I would have been more than a week with no car!This dealership is either very disorganized, or just doesn't give a c*** once they have your money. I would say both They may be fine when buying locally, in-person when you can drive you car off the lot. But they should not be allowed to sell on line to customers in a different state, relying on commitment made and logistics needed in the sale and purchase of a vehicle

      This has been amicably resolved with the Customer. The Customer's trade was unable to be picked up, we waited until his trade was ready to be picked up and then commenced shipping. The Customer's transporter of their new car to them was delayed 3 days (didn't show up twice), however the Business paid top dollar to ensure the Customer's new vehicle got assigned on a carrier ASAP.

      I highly suggest annotation be made by the BBB warning people about doing busiwith this company. These are disreputable people who give a whole new and derogatory meaning to the term "Used Car Salesman". People refuse to return phone calls and one you've made a purchase you're screwed and in your own

      After 4 weeks, my car was finally shipped. This is no grand resolution. After a full month, they finally met their obligation and shipped my vehicle! No Apology, No make right, no refund. Just a horrific experience with disreputable and unprofessional indivual who are borderline criminal

      The sales reps and management team are out to unload cars and make a buck. They really could care less about the customer. Employees will not return phone calls or respond to questions or issues and communication in general is beyond poor. My car sat on the lot for a full month waiting to be shipped. I was told if I expressed funds, the shipping arrangements would be made immediately.

      Excuse after excuse from everybody In the place with no resolution or attempt to make the situation right. Neither the owner nor the General Manager was man enough to make a call and apologize. And the main line operator is a rude and nasty individual who will not forward calls to the people you need to speak with.

      I had been told at one point that if my car was not shipped out that day, a refund would be processed. A week later when I called the trucking company to find out why my car had not arrived, I learned that they new nothing about my car and it was STILL sitting on the lot. When I called to attempt to get the refund promised a week later, nobody would talk to me, return a call or help in any fashion

      I highly recommend that you pay a little more and buy somewhere else. They could give me my next car for free and I would not want it due to the shear BS you have to endure. This is THE WORST PLACE you could ever buy a car.

      I purchased a 2015 Audi Q7 from this dealership in November. I was told it would come with a 4 month 4000 mile warranty. I purchased this online and had it delivered to me. The Monday after delivery on Sat November 7th I went and had the brakes, wheels, tires looked over cause there was a small shaking in the wheel, shop detected that ALL 4 wheels were cracked and would not let me drive off the property due to it was unsafe. I immediately called dealership and they told me to find some wheels and they would reimburse me, I then order some wheels and had them installed and send invoice to dealership. A week after I noticed an oil leak, no lights were on at this time so I scheduled to have a shop look everything over and let me know what the leak was. Before I could get it to the shop my serpentine belt broke. i called the dealership and they assured me that i have a warranty and it will take care of it, when shop submitted estimate the *************** said I didnt even have a warranty, so I paid out of pocket cause I needed my vehicle back! Oil leak progressively got worse and worse and then another belt broke! this is when the repair shop decided the oil was saturating the belt making it tear and break but this shop didn't have the tools to tear motor apart to figure where **** is coming from! during this time i call ******* up to FIFTY times a day with no answer nor reply to text or emails! At this point im furious cause i realize ******* has sold me a lemon and is not willing to even discuss helping with with this. I decided to take my car to an Audi dealer (closest one to me is 3 hours) I continued to try to contact ******* for some sort of help and still received no response! Audi fixes what they think is the issue and i pay $3100 to get my car. here we are 2 weeks later and my belt has broken again and the leaks are still there. I feel like ******* sold this car to a single hardworking mother knowing its issues and is not taking responsibility! i am filing small clain againt them!

      The Business is sorry to hear of the troubles the Customer encountered with her eight year old Audi with close to one hundred thousand miles. **** said, there was clearly no warranty purchased per the attached sale documents. In addition, no dealership/shop could predict a belt breaking - there were no tears or signs showing that would've indicated a belt would break, or the Business would have replaced them. Given the vehicle was purchased four months ago, the Business is not able to accomodate the Customer's request for thousands of dollars.

      I purchased a car from them, and everything went smoothly. However, when I received the car (they delivered it out of the city), I discovered damages that were never disclosed to me. Concerned, I had it estimated for repair, and it's going to cost me over $7,500 to fix everything. I reached out to them to address my concerns, but their customer service has been awful, with misdirection and claims. Finally, after 2 weeks, they outright told me it's an 'as-is' sale, so they're not liable for any issues and will not assist. This is completely false since it only applies to new incidents/damages, not pre-sale damage which was never disclosed to me. After discussing this with them they then offered $800 to put towards the cost, which is completely outrageous as it hardly covers any of the damages. I am looking into a lawyer to see if they will pay for the damages in full as they should've done from the start.

      The Business confirms the Customer purchased a vehicle 2 weeks ago. The Business has been in contact with the customer - the customer's car did not have these damages on this lot, and the business has provided photos as proof and given the carrier information for the insured carrier who delivered the vehicle. While mishaps during transport are exceedingly rare, the business was sorry to hear of this and will continue to assist the Customer.

There is documentation from the delivery driver indicating that the damages were preexisting, and that the business is entirely responsible for those damages. Moreover, they sold it to me without disclosing any of the damages and are now refusing to assist in any form of payment to fix the damages.

      The Business reviewed the photos the Cusomter claims were present at time of pick up - it's clear from the photographs that the pictures were taken after the vehicle was off of the Business's lot and out of our possession. 

      The Business has attempted to accomodate the Customer in multiple ways, including exchanging for another vehicle (we have ~50 similar vehicles in stock currently).

      I bought a car from the dealership November 27, 2023. It has been a hassle trying to receive the car. The car was delivered around 01/13/24. It took over 45 days for the car to be shipped and delivered. My tags did not come in; therefore, I was not able to drive the car to go to work. I still do not have my tags because the dealership reported "The county is being picky" and would not accept two payments. The county clerk office is requesting one check for tags. Currently, I have a car with no tags, but now the car is not working. The car would not start on 2/5/24. I would like to return the car and not have any more dealings with this car dealership. The dealership can keep the first two months of payment that I have paid. I would like the remainder of the loan to be cancelled and the ***** down payment. I have emails for evidence.

The customer is aware of the return policy that was signed. They were also told that the vehicle purchased came as is and that we are not responsible for any mechanical or cosmetic issues.       His new vehicle was not shipped to him immediately due to his trade in having a delay on arriving to us here at the dealership. Once his car arrived, we proceeded to prepare his new vehicle for delivery. Once completed the customer was notified that it would be there within 4-5 business days.  He signed a contract with us stating that he agreed to accept the trade in value that was offered (which was in line with ***** Blue Book value).

      I received the veichle. It has a cracked windshield, and no floor mats, low fluids

      I purchased a vehicle from The Taverna Collection back in October 2023. I asked the salesperson, *********************** if I could have clear pictures of the car and videos of the start, dashboard lights, function of the a/c, heat, radio, windows, and seats. The vehicle and Taverna are in *******, and I am in ********. *********************** purposely took low-quality photos just like the ones on the website and took videos of nothing I requested to hide the existing issues with the vehicle. Whenever I asked for external pictures of the car, ******* would say, "It's raining outside, the vehicle is being detailed, or I'm not at the office." ******* came up with every excuse not to show the car in detail and gave me her word that everything functions, or they wouldn't offer it to be sold. ***************** and ******* said that every aspect of the vehicle was clean, had no scratches and that everything functions " perfectly." *********** transporting the car from ******* to ******** contacted me to inform me that it was damaged to the exterior. ***********'s owner sent me screenshots of the conversation between the Taverna representative and himself. The car transport company owner's records also show 72k miles on the odometer, but the bill of sale showed 69k miles. ******* had been driving the car for significant miles before the delivery of the vehicle. Taverna collection has been misleading and, in some instances, outright lied to me. I have sent many emails to them to rectify the situation, but these have yet to be addressed. From the reviews I have read after purchasing, I see that I am not the only one this company has tried to scam.
