This company is very unprofessional, they hired me for a position, told me I had the job, had me onboard, gave me uniforms and a badge, worked me on a site called Harborside for 3 days 24+ hours, then backtracked and didnt put me on the schedule stating that I was only temp because they hired someone for the position (this was never stated before), I was not put on the schedule the following week, no one picks up their phones after numerous calls , voicemails and texts, to the managers, owner and secretary. They paid me for only one day! And still owe me 2 days of pay! Ive never worked with a more unprofessional company in my life. I want my money SecurTech!

    Re: Response to Complaint #********

    Complainant: Ms. ******** ******* Date Submitted: September 13, 2025

SecurTec respectfully submits the following response to the above-referenced complaint:

    1. Ms. ******* was an employee of SecurTec. She was removed from the work schedule after repeated failures to complete assigned duties in the manner she was trained. She was counseled regarding her performance after both her first and second shifts. Following a third instance of non-performance, her employment was terminated.

    2. SecurTec conducted an internal review of timesheets, payroll records, and Ms. ******** issued paystubs. This audit confirmed that Ms. ******* was paid in full for all hours worked. Ms. ******* has disputed an amount of approximately $288.00. Our records indicate that she has calculated this figure by subtracting her gross wages (approximately 24 hours worked) from her net pay. She has not accounted for (i) standard federal tax withholdings and (ii) her uniform deduction. These items reconcile the discrepancy and match the net pay she received.

    3. Pursuant to Florida Statutes, Chapter 493, all licensed security officers must return their company-issued identification badge upon termination. SecurTec internal policy also requires the return of issued uniforms. Ms. ******* has not returned her issued uniform or her company identification badge. As required by statute, we have reported the non-return of her badge to the Florida ***********************************************, Division of Licensing.

    4. SecurTec remains willing to resolve this matter. Ms. ******* is instructed to return her complete issued uniform and identification badge to our:

    *********************** Office
    ******************************************************;

Upon receipt of these items, her personnel file will be closed with no further action required.

    Sincerely,
    **** *******, Managing Partner / *************** Officer

    Reply to SecurTec

    To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing in response to SecurTecs statement regarding my complaint. I respectfully disagree with the claims that have been made and would like to clarify several key points.
    1.Employment & Termination
I was never coached, written up, or formally terminated for performance issues. On the contrary, I received compliments from my immediate supervisor, Guerby, regarding my work. At no time was I advised that my employment had ended, nor was I presented with documentation regarding termination.
    2.Attempts to Collect Wages
I made every good-faith effort to collect my pay for the three days I worked. I contacted multiple SecurTec representatives, ******** ******* and ****, through calls, texts, and voicemails. I even visited the companys office on September 12th at 12:15 PM to return uniforms, but no one coordinated with me to complete this process. I have screenshots and call records as proof of my communication attempts.
    3.Disputed Wages
The amount I am owed, $288.00, is based on the hours I actually worked. SecurTecs explanation about taxes and uniform deductions does not match the pay I received. I have reviewed my paystub and timesheets, and my calculation reflects pay still owed to me. If the company believes otherwise, I request a detailed itemized payroll statement, including hours worked, gross pay, tax withholdings, and deductions, to reconcile the discrepancy.
    4.Uniforms & Badge
It is not accurate to state that I have refused to return uniforms or my identification badge. I have already attempted to return them and am still willing to do so. I simply need someone from SecurTec to coordinate with me, either to meet in person or to provide clear instructions on where and when to drop them off.

In conclusion, all I want is for this matter to be resolved fairly. I worked in good faith and deserve to be paid for the time I gave the company. I remain willing to return any issued property and expect to receive the pay I am rightfully owed.

    Sincerely,
    ******** *******
