On February 1, ****, I had my car towed to this dealership due to I had an appointment set up due to a recall that needed to be rectified. The reason for having my car towed was because there was a noise that my son and I heard therefore we were afraid to drive the car. The service advisor was told of our concerns and the service advisor stated that there was a recall on the engine for this particular year. My car is a 2020 Kia ***** The service advisor stated that a diagnostic would need to be done to determine the problem but also she would have to open a ticket for replacement of the engine for my 2020 Kia ***** I called the service back the following day to find out the results and the service advisor told me that the results were not back yet but it appeared a ticket would have to be open regarding replacement of the engine. On Monday, 2/5/24, the service advisor called me back and told me that I had to replace a gasket. At that time, there was no mention about my engine was bad. Meanwhile, the service technicians had driven my car at least 2 times off the lot that I am aware of. On February 9, I received a call back from the service advisor stating I needed a new engine all of a sudden. She also said that I would not have to pay for anything that was done on my car within the week that they had my car. She never stated that the no charge excl;uded them doing the diagnostic. I went to the dealership on February 10, **** and was told in order to replace the engine it would be $8032 which includes the labor, and in order to be put in a new car, I would have to put $15,000 down which is insane. I refused to listen to anything else at that point so I asked for the key for my car so I can have it towed back to my home and that is when I was told that I had to pay $200 for a check out fee. I feel as though this total experience was misleading. I wouldn't recommend anyone buying from them. No one shows they care about the consumer. Bad Business.

I was sold a **** new *** $3,000 over market value and then charged $6,000 dealership fee on top of that. When I asked for an explanation, they gave me the run around. I will never go back nor refer anyone to this dump. They are trained to steal and deceive people.

I have been trying to get my extended warranty and GAP coverage addressed for months (June-now November). I have dozens of sent emails, and while most go unanswered, many have been forwarded to the "correct person", which conveniently changes every set of emails. As I have been trying to get the information needed to use my extended warranty, at no point during the first WEEKS was it mentioned to me that I would need to go through the dealership, which is mandatory per the extended insurance. I have dozens of emails sent, six voicemails, and many unanswered calls and emails. In essence, it would seem that the dealership is attempting not to honor the warranty or GAP coverage, which costs thousands of dollars of course.

One star too many. The worst stealership experience I have ever had. I went back and forth with a supposed salesperson and supposed manager online for a while. I asked for the out the door price to include dealer markups and addons, taxes, fees etc. I was emailed and quoted MSRP for the vehicle after the “dealer incentives” which I was ok with. When I arrived I was met by a different sales associate. The woman that I had been dealing with was not available. She wouldn’t even come to say hello. Mind you I had just emailed her my ETA and she had confirmed that she was available. I didn’t think much of it. I test drove and subsequently had my trade in appraised. Had to haggle that as they wanted to lowball me. I got them to go up on the trade in and after 2 hours of small talk I go into the finance office where they finally disclose the price of the vehicle. They tacked on a fifteen thousand dollar market value adjustment. For a Kia. Haha. Also had a crazy APR ready for me. I have an excellent credit rating. When I went to leave one of the managers came to see how they could help. Said he couldn’t sell at MSRP as they were giving me too much for my trade as is. Said it was one or the other. Last offer before I left was 2 thousand less for trade in as had previously been agreed but they would sell at MSRP but I would have to pay a fee for financing with outside lender. The APR they were offering was from Chase. An outside lender. NOT Kia. Left and received a call for vehicle purchase at MSRP, they would match my APR but offering now four thousand less than originally agreed on trade in. Oh yeah and the dealership looks like it’s a used car lot from the early 90s. My family sat at a wobbly table with mismatched chairs with no phone, computer, nothing. If it didn’t say Kia I’d think I was being punked. These guys and gals are obviously running a scam operation. I feel bad for anyone that feels that they have to buy from them. This was Greenway Kia of West Palm in Fl.

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience at Greenway Kia of West Palm Florida. We're truly sorry to hear about the challenges you encountered during your visit. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we want to address your concerns.

We sincerely apologize for the initial miscommunication regarding the out-the-door price of the vehicle. It's important to us that our customers have a clear understanding of all costs associated with their purchase.

Regarding the market value adjustment, we understand your frustration. This market is a difficult one to navigate and the adjustment is applied based on market demand, but we should have been transparent about this from the beginning. Additionally, we apologize for any confusion regarding the APR offered, sometimes Kia doesn’t provide the best interest rate for every customer so we search elsewhere, as we did in your instance and found you a rate that exceeded your expectations.

Your feedback about our dealership's appearance is duly noted, and we will work on improving the overall experience for our customers and will start renovations as soon as possible to renovate the entire dealership and make it the most modern dealership in Palm Beach County.

We want to make things right for you. If you're willing, please contact our management team, and we will do our best to address your concerns and find a resolution that meets your expectations.

Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your visit to Greenway Kia. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our service.

      Sincerely,
Greenway Kia of West Palm Beach

They give great apologies......................Purchased a new vehicle in early April. I had some questions and tried to reach a gentleman who had told me "this is my cell number and i always answer/return call right away. 10 days and innumerable calls and messages later I finally had someone call me back. I told them about the over-payment they made on my trade-in and asked when I could pick up my check for $507.92.Long story short, I had to contact the bank to confirm the check had been cut and give them the check number. Even then it was another week before I received it. If I hadn't done the legwork I'm sure I would never have received that refund. Buyer beware!

******************, I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. When we take trade in's here it is standard practice to get a 20-day payoff as to cover any interest your account accrues while the new account is created for the purchase that initiated the trade in the first place. Usually there is a small over payment due to this 20-day rule, but we still send the full amount because that is what we setup in the deal for your payoff, when your lienholder for your traded in vehicle receives the payoff and it's over, they process the check and send you the difference. I apologize if they do not do this in a timely manner, but I have no control over this part of the process. Please feel free to contact me at the dealership at ****************** to discuss further if necessary.

      Thanks,

      ***********************, GSM.

False advertising They lie and waste your time for no reason.I had a *** before from this dealership when they were located a bit south from were they are now, they haven't change. The lack of customer service and the way they want to rip you off still the same.I went to see a $30 000 car and they ended offering me a $47 000 and a $53 000 with the comment that don't worry we are here to get you the best deal, and the boss is not here so we can lower those numbers for you. They advertise all over the local radios stations and their website that they will equal the kbb offer and will give you an extra 6k in top of it, LIES!!They offered me 5k less of what my offer says. I told them I was trying to downgrade from what I have now because my expenses went up this year and they were trying to get 5k cash from me for a $900 TO $1000 monthly payment. Do your math. How am I going to go from paying $450 a month for a ****** to $900 for a *** if I already told you I needed to downgrade. YOU GUYS ARE SELLING KIAS NOT ACURAS OR RANGE ROVERS. STOP PLAYING WITH PEOPLE NEEDS AND MONEY. NOT PLANING ON GOING BACK. PLEASE BE AWARE AND STAY AWAY FOR YOUR OWN SAKE!!!!!

Absolutely horrible! I purchased my vehicle with them Nov 27, 2022. By Feb 7 the vehicles engine had blown. Not at any fault of my own. I had kept up the maintenance on the vehicle. First it took over a week and a half to get someone to contact my aunt whom called on my behalf. Finally after having to threaten calling corporate they called her back. She explained the situation, at that point she was told they would try to take it in as a trade, run my credit again and try to get me in another vehicle. But, I would still be responsible for the difference on the loan on the car. I agreed, that didnt work out! Then they said ok we will eat the labor costs but I still need to pay for new engine. $3000, again I agreed. A week later now they cannot find an engine at that price its now $3500. Again I agreed, was told the engine was being purchased the next day, now a week later they cannot find an engine at that price. They can get me a used engine at $6000. This is utterly disgusting, they will not take any accountability for this horrible sale and I dont suggest anyone buy a car from them. They ONLY care about the sale, after that your on your own. Unless of course you purchase a brand new **** I know my finances, so I did not want a new **** That being said they sold me on my 2017 **** Focus. It was clearly a trade in that they did no due diligence to make sure it was up to pare for sale. Greenway Kia West Palm Beach

First and foremost, this review was not written by ******************... it was written by 2 of her relatives, ****************** has never contacted me. The relatives have been negotiating over the phone and text, acting as if they were *******************

The truth is, ****************** purchased a 2017 **** Focus from Greenway Kia West Palm Beach in November 2022. At the time of purchase, we offered her a warranty that would cover the engine and other parts of the car for 3 year or ****** miles... She declined the coverage, IN WRITING.

****************** then drove the vehicle for several months with no problems, had the oil changed at a "Quick Lube" ... I think it was Valvoline... they changed the oil and her engine failed after they changed the oil...

A friend or relative acting as **************** contacted me and ask if we could help... Because she is our client I agreed to help. We located a pre-owned engine for $4,500 plus installation.

The person acting as **************** said she was having a financial hardship and could only come up with $3,500... I agreed at that time to pay the extra $1,000 plus installation to help out.

Then the person acting as ****************** decided that she did not want a pre-owned engine, she wanted a new or remanufactured engine... with warranty.

We located a remanufactured engine for her it was $6,800, with a 3-year unlimited mile warranty.

Then this lady goes off on a tyrant and wanted the used engine... as I sharded with her that engine was no longer available, we would have to find another on,

On Tuesday, 3-14-2023 2 ladies show up to the dealership wanting to see me... that's when I found out that I was speaking to someone other than *****************

I shared with them that we had not located another used engine yet and introduced them to my parts department person that would be more than happy to communicate directly with them while trying to locate an engine that would be suitable and within their price range...

Neither of the 2 ladies were *****************

We feel that we have gone overboard to help a customer that declined to purchase protection on her engine at time of purchase, took it somewhere else to have it serviced, but yet we are willing to participate in the repairs...

PLEASE INVESTIGATE THIS DEALERSHIP THEY ARE TRICKING/SCAMMING Where to start? First thing, the staff starting from management to their representatives are completely dishonest, lack transparency and have 0 customer service skills. We change cars A Lot, so we are used to the process and negotiations and never had the experience we had with Greenway **** After some negotiations we left the dealership as the numbers were just not on our favor, which it's fine we said thank you and left. We were attended by ******. As we left we received a call from one of the Sales Manager **** and told us to come back as they were able to match the monthly payment we were looking for and to come back to the dealership to go through the purchase. Not even 5 minutes later, ****** comes out and tells us the unit was sold. So we were going to leave once again. The sales ********************* comes out and says that when they received the ** model he would guarantee us and honor the same payment we negotiated with them. He offered us the **Line trim but we explained that we did not want the **Line as we commute and the *** of the **line was too low. **** told us get the **Line today and when the ** comes in stock we will trade-in the **Line and get us in the ** trim level with the same payment guaranteed. He repeatedly told us he would honor the same monthly payment. HE SOLD US A LIE AND TRICKED US INTO BUYING A UNIT THAT DID NOT MEET OUR NEEDS JUST SO THEY COULD GET A SALE.I noticed an ** was in stock. We had been following up with **** for two days were he continued saying I am working on it. On the end, after he told us the unit was now pre-sold we told him we were extremely disappointed on the lack of transparency and would be contacting their corporate office to make them aware of this issue and then **** replies via text saying:"Corporate reviews? Good luck."That's the type of treatment you will receive from them and then tell you basically oh yeah your reviews and complaints means nothing.

I feel very betrayed and mislead. I arrived to the dealership after speaking online with a representative about the car I was interested in the 2022 Kia **** she made an appointment for the same day in the evening. I Drove to the dealer for an 90 mins., I thought it was late but she said she could meet with me at that time but when I got to the dealer she wasn't there and so everything ended up getting rushed and I felt very pressured by who I did meet. When I arrived the person online seemed to not exist and I was greeted by a sales man ****** who informed me that the person I spoke to was "busy with another customer". After testing the car and informing him that I was interested and wanted to know how much it was going to be, I realized that they were asking 20k over the sticker price. When I told this to the sale guy he came back with a different offer stating that it was a slow day and that was the best price they could give me, bring the 20k **** up down to 14k. So now a car that should have been sold to me for 48k was being sold to me for 62K which I think is pretty steep for a ****** I even told the sales guy that I could purchase a *** for that price and he convinced me that because of the technology and demand for the vehicle that was why the price was higher than the sticker price. All lies because after purchasing the car I later found out that I was taken advantage of. As soon as they knew how much money I made they saw dollar signs on my face. Although I can afford the car payment it is not worth what the car was sold to me for. Other people have purchased the car cheaper. They fooled me so don't become one of their victims. I played into their game a fell for it and ended up losing big because the car will lose value while I still am over paying for the vehicle.
