Very very bad. Tech arrives wearing offensive attire. His hat literally says whats up Bit#%. Shows up and before anything and starts giving excuses why they wont warranty this and that. I have to flip the couch over myself and I asked him to unplug it from the wall. He jerked the cord out from the cord itself about 20 inches from the plug. Making the outlet loose. He was here for 7 minutes. And left. Never heard anything h back from anyone. Other than well email you. Its going to the courts now. Im not going to pay for a warranty then not have them help. This is not good !!!! They ruined the *** furniture name. Thats for sure.

We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the concerns raised by customer and would like to provide a summary of the technicians visit.

The technician arrived at the customers home at 9:42 AM and completed his full inspection by 9:53 AM, totaling 11 minutes. During this time, he thoroughly inspected the furniture and found no signs of frame damage or mechanical failure. The only visible issue was a lean to one side of the seat cushion, which appeared to be the result of normal wear from regular use and compression most likely influenced by how the furniture is being used.
Regarding the hat concern mentioned, the issue has been addressed. As for the outlet cover, the technician did not observe that unplugging the recliner had loosened it. Had he noticed it at the time, he would have promptly tightened the cover.

We strive to provide high-quality service and always welcome feedback that helps us improve. We regret any inconvenience and appreciate the customer's attention to detail.

This is part of a warranty through ****** furniture. We had a couch delivered and it makes loud creaking noise whenever someone sits or stands up. It's very loud and not just normal creaks, it's a loud scraping sound like wood is starting to crack or rubbing up against something The technician came out (only after I called after a week to see why they hadn't called to schedule yet), and messed around with it for about three hours, and finally said he didn't know how to fix it and that he'd refer to in-house repair. I asked who, what, when, how, and he was unable to answer any of these questions. He said they'd reach out. I waited three days to contact ****** only to find out that the technician said he fixed it and that it's normal customer wear and tear. He flat-out lied and didn't do anything at all with the couch except pretend that fabric was the issue on his final report.

Hello. In response to this review, I have left the customer a message to discuss. The customers complaint is in regards to a newer sofa that we were sent a work order to check for any defects. Upon inspecting the unit the tech determined that there was nothing broken or defective with the unit. Noises are considered normal and can occur/ depend on several factors such as the way it is constructed/ manufactured, weight applied to the unit, such as the size of the unit in comparison to the size of the person using it etc. The technician went above and beyond to try to conceal the slight squeaking noise for the consumer, in fact spent 2.5 hrs in the home at his own behest adding fiber fill to help alleviate it, even though it is considered normal. The technician was very clear with the customer in the fact that it was not broken or defective and we have submitted a report/ photos to ****** regarding this as well. The technician put exactly what he told the customer and what the customer stated in his review is also in the report. The technician never said anything was fully completed because you cannot fix something that is "not broken". At this point it is really based on the warranty the manufacturer has relating to any "noise/ squeaking" of the frame. This is not an issue we can dictate on behalf of ******.

In regards to scheduling, we received and confirmed this work order on 9/4 at 11:49 AM from ****** and at that time the customer was sent communication regarding us receiving this order via SMS. The customer actually self scheduled within 2 minutes at 11:51 AM via a link provided by us to schedule where he selected 9/10. Not sure where it was a week to get scheduled, there may be some confusion on when he contacted ****** and when they ordered the service, but it was literally 2 minutes once we received and confirmed the order.

Just to further clarify, the technician did not lie in his report at all and this report and photos were sent to ****** the same day of service. It can take a few days for them to get back to the customer, but again we cannot dictate that process. The technician when reviewing this service with him also stated the customer was very nice and that they had a great conversation the whole time he was in the home.

The customer will have to discuss the coverage of the warranty with the customer ********************** department.

Update - spoke with manager and the situation is resolved. Tri County did what they could and the rest is up to the retailer as it isn't a slight squeak at all. I have no problem with Tri County nor the technician. I had no visibility to the report that was given to the retailer so could only go on what I was told. The retailer is replacing the couch.

After purchasing several pieces of furniture from Lazy Boy we were directed to contact the service company to have my inoperable furniture piece serviced. I tried for numerous days to contact TCFS to schedule a service call. After being placed on hold for up to 20 minutes I was asked to leave my number for a call back within 24 hours. This did not happen until 4 days later. When they finally call they had me set up a virtual video call for April 29th between 12 and 12:30. On said day they texted me with a link at 11:50; which I missed because I wasn't expecting a call until between 12-12:30. I tried to click on the link provided and was told to wait for host to open the call. After 10 minutes the link was not active. I called TCFS and was placed on hold for 10 minutes and then told the link had expired. They then told me I had to set up another appoint 5 days later. I asked why they couldn't just send me another and was told they just couldn't. What a poor excuse of a business. I am so frustrated and disappointed in their company as well as Lazy Boy for using this company to repair their furniture.

Please do not use this company. I was referred to this company by ******'s to repair a power recliner sofa. My experience was very poor. My technician arrived on time, however spent 5 minutes inspecting my sofa. He determined it was a power adapter issue, however I had a second power adapter for the matching love seat he failed to switch them, and he would have noticed this was not an adapter issue. When I called to get more information, the operator told me a supervisor would contact me to follow up. No one ever returned a call, so I called back a week later to find out that there is only one technician in my area. I would not want this person inspecting anything again. They also said the inspection fee was non-refundable even though I disputed any inspection ever took place. This was a waste of time and money, please try another company first.

    Here is our response-

Hi *******, I have reviewed your tech report and photos. Sorry to hear that the adapter didn't fix your issue and unfortunately, that can happen. The adapter had no power at the time of service and the tech even plugged it into the wall directly (which you should be doing as well) and still no power. So the first thing that is done is replacing the adapter. Its really not an assumption, its protocol. The tech has over 25 years of experience and did nothing out of sorts. In fact he was in your home for 16 minutes and also checked the wiring. We have pictures of everything and his time is tracked as we track their movements all day. Here is the time in, time out and total time.

    Start Time : 03/29/2024 09:33:59 (CDT)
    End Time : 03/29/2024 09:49:53 (CDT)
    Total Time : 00 hours 15 minutes 54 seconds

So 5 minutes is not reality. You will need to have a further diagnoses done and we have no problem setting you up with one of virtual technicians at no charge to look at it with you. I will have a manager call you to set it up and discuss the process overall. You may have a short in a wire that is not easily noticed. As far as a manager not calling you back, that is very out of sorts, but I do see you called in April 3rd and did not get a call back, I apologize for that and will see where the ball dropped on that to ensure that ******* handles it properly going forward.

The customer made this same complaint on ****** and we have made several attempts to contact him with no response. We will not be responding further to this online, the customer can call us when he is ready to discuss. Nothing can change the protocol for repair by posting online or distorting what occurred. We are very transparent and furthermore the customer agreed to this fact in our disclosures when he paid for the service it states-

If the unit we are servicing is power, such as a Power recliner or Adjustable bed, as an example. If the unit has no power, there may be a need to order multiple parts or have multiple visits to fully correct it. this can result in extra charges. This at times may be just unplugged or a loose connection. Repair fee will still applicable.

We have been in business for 22 years and service over 9000 customers a month, we are pretty confident that we know what we are doing.

INCREDIBLE SERVICE!!! ******* was great. I told him that he is the 4th service tech since August, 2023. He said I'll be the last!!! I think he is right. He checked everything on the chair and so far everything seems great---NO UNUSUAL NOISES. I would highly recommend the service of tri-county. I like the email with a picture of the tech to expect at your home. Of course the 3 hour window is a bit long but he was here well within that time with some updates and a link to check his location! Thanks so much

We bought a couch and due to having pets, opted for the care plan. Tri County was the provider for our plan. One of our cats did potty on there couch so I called to have it serviced. We were originally told that a claim was denied due to "accumulation." We had not called right away and it was evident that there were now two instances of urine. Claim person mentioned we could pay to have our couch restored to original and then be sure to call as soon as there is a stain. Great idea! That's what we did. We had Tri County come out and clean the couch. I did have to pay $159 up front which really bothered me. But a cleaning was scheduled with quickly and easily. But that is when things went south. My wife let the technician in at the scheduled appointment time. Less than twenty minutes later, he left. Our couch was not cleaned well at allthe front section was not even touched. I called to complain but since it was Saturday, I was told I would get a call back on Monday. I didn't. I called on Tuesday. I ended up talking to a supervisor and was told I could have the technician back at a discounted rate. What? Really, the technician did not spend an appreciable amount of time to do the work to begin with-why would I pay again to have lousy work? I said I shouldn't have to pay again when the technician didn't really attempt to clean the couch. I told him I would be disputing the charge. I do not routinely dispute charges. It is now nearly 4 months later and we won our dispute. In closing, I would never hire Tri County to do any work. The quality of work is abysmal.

    Hello *****,

Sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction with the cleaning done on your furniture. However, I would like to point out a few things. When you paid for your service you agreed to our disclosures which clearly state-

The furniture will be cleaned to the best possible condition. Depending on the type of fabric or leather, stain types and how much dirt, oils and soiling has built up on your furniture, one full cleaning attempt *** not be enough to fully get back to new condition. On older pieces or pieces that are discolored, color loss is possible, and we cannot be held responsible for that. Odors can still remain at times after cleaning. A 2nd cleaning *** be needed to remove odors or even replacing the foam. You can ask the technician when they are in the home. ** Note** We cannot clean furniture that has an infestation of bugs, critters or animals of any kind.

***Full cleanings include anywhere the body touches including, the seating areas (Back & Bottom), arms & the front rail or footrests of furniture. Furniture will be cleaned to best possible condition. Outside backs and deckings are not included.

In regards to your furniture, the furniture was in very POOR shape, heavily soiled, multiple stains and has a high amount of damage/ shredding as you know. The technician even reiterated this to you prior to cleaning and you wanted the cleaning done. Here is the techs report-

tech successfully did a full cleaning including all cushions from seam to seam, tops of armrest. note: cushions have heavy pet stains. tech advised customer that there will be no guarantee that stains will fully come clean. customer agreed and advised tech to continue with full cleaning.

We track our technicians movements. Not sure what you think a cleaning process entails, but its simply pre-treating and then rinsing the fabric with our extractor and then running over the cleaned areas to remove as much of the solution as possible. The tech was there for just under 26 minutes cleaning, 32 minutes total which is more than enough time to clean as instructed. As I reviewed the pictures and report, he did what he was there to do. Also keep in mind that we could not get to aggressive due to all of the damage on your sofa. Knowing how dirty and damaged the sofa is we told you this not only when you paid in our disclosures, but when in the home with your wife that at times you *** need 2-3 cleanings to remove all staining and soil, but in your case you need to order new casings and arms to be installed due to all of the damage.

When you spoke to the director here in our office, he also reiterated all of this to you as well and actually offered a second cleaning at a discounted rate, which you refused. In regard to the fee charged, we have not issued any credit or received

any dispute/ charge backs from your credit card company. The charge stands and if we do get a charge back, we have plenty of proof that you agreed to everything as well as before and after pictures of the furniture showing the cleaning was done as explained.

10/23/2023 03:32 pm *TCFS *** *TCFS *** House client payment done successfully with transaction id: ************ and amount: $159.00 and customer has also approved disclosure terms.

Honestly, knowing how bad the condition of your furniture was, I think its pretty sad to write a review like this to bash not only our company but the hard working young man that did nothing wrong whatsoever. Especially when you agreed to the disclosures/ process when you paid and then again in the home when the technician gave you an out. We actually did NOTHING wrong here and even offered a discounted solution to try to help you.

I'm sorry but there is nothing we can or will do to help at this point.

Tri County Furniture Service canceled their appointment midway through the morning service window that they provided. They do not care about your time as they don't provide the service window until the day before. Meanwhile, the closest service date was 4 weeks after scheduling.Of course like the others who had their appointments canceled last minute, I had to rearrange my work schedule and move other plans only to have Tri-County cancel within the morning window provided - sorry to belabor the point here. For more background: I bought a couch, bought a protection plan, the protection plan contracted with Tri County, Tri County (probably) contracted with an individual in my area which is a thousand miles away from Tri-County's location in ***************. With this many middle men in the equation, of course the job doesn't get done.Looking at other reviews, Tri-County frequently cancels with dodgy excuses. It will happen to you too. There must be some misaligned incentives here as this company stays viable even with a 1.84/5 star reviews. Despite whatever this company responds with, there is a pattern of poor service and unreliability. The empirical evidence shows within these reviews shows that the integrity of this company should absolutely be questioned.

Hello, I am sorry but we cannot find you in our system anywhere to be able to respond intelligently and specifically to your issue. But, in regards to what you are mentioning such as scheduling- its very standard to schedule and provide a window of time ***** hrs prior to your appointment. We are also confused because you said we arrived half way through the morning window, but then say we cancelled last minute. Please clarify....  Our technicians also work directly for us, there are no middle men. We have technicians all over the country and service roughly 10k customers a month. What does it matter that our call centers are situated in *************** and *********? Please clarify..... We also have over 99% satisfaction rating among surveyed customers and apologize that you fall into the less than 1% of customers that are generally unhappy. Servicing that many customers a month, having an A+ rating with the BBB, over a 99% customer satisfaction rating among thousands of surveyed customers it appears the empirical evidence shows that we are a completely transparent, reliable, honest, communicative and honorable company. We have been in business for 21 years and have no issue ever discussing and potential issues or opportunities to improve or rectify any issues. please contact ************ and ask for a manager and we can review what actually occurred regarding your service and verify if it was actually us since we cannot find you in our system.

I bought a warranty for my $2000 couch from ***'s furniture. Tri County furniture is the company to fix or replace my furniture. A guy came out and looked at it, and ordered a part. The part came damaged. The repair guy came with not only a lazy attitude but a attitude that said he didn't want to fix it or didn't know how. So he took my furniture apart, and then put it back together BADLY!!! Not tightening any of the screws. And the ones he did tighten were stripped. And the furniture was still not fixed. So a month later another guy comes and says only the screws look bad and that's all they are replacing. What about the ORIGINAL PROBLEM???? Why did I pay for a warranty when they aren't fixing anything??? This company deserves 0 stars but that's not a option! I pay for a product, I expect it to be performed!!! Get better service guys! Ones who want to work!!

Hello, we can only follow the work order supplied by your warranty company. If you are having other issues that they are not addressing, it could be because you do not have that coverage. The only issue found was with your mechanism and that was fixed. Sometimes screws can strip, it is very common unfortunately depending on the quality of the hardware used by the manufacturer. If you are having other issues besides the mechanism, I suggest you contact your warranty company to report it or to find out why they did not want it addressed. We cannot do that for you. Your mechanism is 100% up to specs and working. You also do not have a warranty with us, your warranty is with Guardian. In regards to you referring to the technician as having a lazy attitude, not sure why you would assume that, since he actually did the mechanism install. If he missed something, that can happen and the next tech came out and addressed it. If you would like to discuss this further, please return our call, our manager ***** left you a message. Please also be advised, that you have emailed with us several times. You stated he didn't install the mech because it was damaged, then in this review you state it was installed poorly. You also demanded a replacement from us, when we have authority to do so. Please clarify your story and then we can have a conversation about how we can actually help you or if we even can.
