I have called them 10 plus times to cancel my account and everytime they have put me on hold and hung up on me. I had to call my bank to not allow charges from them. They then found a way to charge my account $74.50 which was unauthorized.Business Response

I was trying to get a small personal loan to consolidate a small amount of credit card debt from a completely different company, and the lady on the phone said she was transferring me to someone. I had no idea who I was talking to. I thought it was still someone from the loan office. But eventually I found out way later into the conversation that it was the credit pros. The man who signed me up was sort of making fun of me that my credit was so bad. Once he found out what I had been through, he shut up about it a little bit, but sort of bullied me into purchasing a subscription to the credit pros for $129 a month. I was fighting back tears at this point, and didn't want him to make fun of me further, and I said I couldn't afford it several times but he didn't listen, he just kept bullying me into buying it. Basically not giving me a choice not to. I was too embarrassed to cry in front of him on the phone, so finally I gave in because I was just tired. I was already having a really awful day that day. Then about three days later, I emailed him to his direct email he gave me and told him I needed to cancel my subscription because, if I didn't, I wouldn't be able to afford food this month for my daughter and I, which is true. He never responded and it's been almost a week. I think he is waiting for the full balance to come out of my checking account on the 3rd of October. I have called the customer service line about ten times to try and cancel, and no one ever picks up, and it says you can request a callback, and they do callback, but its always silent on the other end. I'm so frustrated with this situation and feel so greatly that I was taken advantage of and it makes me so upset and sad. He took $1 out of my checking account even though I told him I only had $14 to my name. He said it was fine, he would just take the rest out on the 3rd of October, which is $129.Business Response

The person I spoke to claimed making an account with them would be free after I explained I did not want their services because I simply could not afford it. The company took my bank account info because the person said they would not be charging me for the account being made. When I called to get a refund from them the person claims it cannot be done if I close the account. I just want my money back for services I told them I didn't want nor can afford.Business Response

I was on the phone with Credit Pros, which is a company that is supposed to give you credit repair. Anyway, I tried to work with the company to get them to assist me with getting my credit repaired today on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, but they told me that after I paid my $149.00 that I had to do all the disputing for my credit and the letters all by myself. Credit Pros were not going to do anything for me, I would just be paying the fee of $149.00. Also, Credit Pros told me that I would receive bonus services as far as being able to get a loan and get a merchant credit line. And I never received those services. I spoke with a supervisor by the name of **** in the ********************** and he told me that he would not give me my money back, just close the account. Anyway, I told **** that not only did I need him to close the account but give me my refund and credit my account so I will get my $149.00 back on my credit card that I used to get the credit repair on September 24, 2024, with Credit Pros. First, I would like to apologize for the frustration and misunderstanding you've been experiencing recently while trying to cancel your account and I am glad you were able to speak to Mike about your account. We assist all our customers with getting credit repair, your online portal was set up to point out items for dispute. These can be unverifiable, outdated, misleading, or just plain incorrect and we send those disputes with the credit bureaus for you. The merchant credit line was not completed because we need at least 24 hours to set up everything for you and a cancellation was received an hour after you signed up. Furthermore all the services were not ready yet.

9/6/2024 was date of transaction to start credit pros. Then after I got off the phone with the man I talked to all of these weird charges kept getting denied on my bank card. Like one from ******* for $398. And 2 other things. The *** **** I talked to was pushy wouldnt take no for an answer so I gave my bank card information. I agree to ***** that day and the the rest of $150 amount which was $134.99. To be paid on my next payday in 2 weeks. But then after we that all this crazy stuff started being charged that was being denied because my bank knows its not normal spending. Something isnt right with this company. I cant give you account information because as soon as I got off the phone they locked me out of the account. I canceled my bank card the next day because something wast right and they never have anyone answer the phone or call you back.Business Response

I called the credit pros in August and told the guy I wanted to cancel my membership after writing them a letter to cancel in July. He offered me a refund and a free month with reduced rate moving forward. I told him I did not want to continue that I didn't have the money to continue and that a refund and free month would be fine. He continued to harass me to agree to the reduced rate which I did not want. The guy would not take no for an answer. He did refund me the money but chose to continue my account with the reduced rate when I said okay on the refund and free month. I called in September to cancel again after they took my money out of my account. That representative actually canceled my account but said he would have to open an investigation into getting a refund due to the account saying I agreed to the lower amount. He said they would contact me within 24 to 48 hours with a response. After the third day I called again to ask about it and was told that it is under investigation and he would try to expedite it but his records show that I agreed to the lower amount.Business Response

The Credit Pros were supposed to contact me after the initial payment of $119. They didn't. I called and called the phone number I had but it would not connect me to anyone over and over. May be the phone system or they were all busy but I didn't get to any prompts to do anything. I just want to stop before I get started. Seems like too much money for very little or no service as I got. The only thing I would here after calling was the " This call may be monitored or recorded", then nothing. I can do better with the money I was going to spend there. Not BBB accredited is a big factor in my decision as well. I'm done with them... They need to put someone to work at people's credit concern like they do getting them to sign up and collecting their fees.I just don't want them to contact me again with their broken promises. I stopped payment and just want a refund. No more Credit Pros. It was like a "bad first date" , then finding out how bad they are, afterwards. Just be glad with a refund!Business Response

And giving my card number during the setup process believing it wouldnt be charged until a certain date but by then I had a change of mind. I spoke with them afterwards several times about not wanting there services they keep attempting to charge my bank I cancel my card to stop them and asked them to remove me my card information from there system I requested them to stop calling my phone and they keep trying to sell sell sell total harassment. I paid the company to resolve two different disputes for my credit. They gave me a portal for a link to go to to check on the status of everything that I was unable to be able to get on. I signed everything with them for payments I paid them for a couple months of service and was never able to get onto the portal and look at anything. I called them multiple times to discuss that with them, never got anywhere with it. They also gave me different answers on what was actually being disputed . I had no idea what was going on because they couldnt give me a straight answer and then I talked about possibly canceling my account I want to see if Ill be able to get my money back before canceling my account I never said to cancel it The conversation got cut short because I called back to talk to a different person to see if that would get me somewhere and that was a little helpful but then I find out later on that. They just canceled it anyways after I thought everything was resolved.Business Response
