I have been consigning pieces at this place for some time but not until my last consignment I realized this business is not being transparent.On my last consignment I left 24 items in 06/01/2022. They provided me a summary of all the consignment items with the sale price. The amount of the check they paid me doesnt match the prices on the list they provided. They give large unauthorized discounts such as 50% and 75% off and we only find out IF we carefully track monthly the list. The check comes without description of the item sold, only the item number. There is no way for us to know which item got sold unless you noticed extremely low prices and then find out that the item was sold with a huge discount. The sales assistant told me they dont discount designer handbags. Then it turned out that my Dior bag was sold with a 40% discount and my share is 50% of the final price. ( the amount the bag was sold wasnt listed with all other items on the store main computer where we can see all the other prices; why? The owner keeps higher designer sold items hidden at her own computer). I even got items sold for $1.40 and there is no way for me to prove it wasnt sold for such a low price. They make the checks for a very small amount but if we complained they simply say they sold for a 75% discount. The contract is misleading and it doesnt protect us in any way. And if we complain they get angry. The lack of transparency they run their business with our merchandise is clearly very poor and not right. Thank you,*****
