      I was called by an ******* on August 26th, 2024. and told that I could purchase an unlimited miles and unlimited years car warranty for my 2017 Kia **** for 98 dollars down and then that I could call back within 30 days to pay it all off for $1672 after I received the email and hard copy of my policy. I questioned ***** saying unlimited Miles and years for $1700 did not sound correct but assured me that he was telling the truth. He flat out lied to sell the policy.I paid the $98 and all I got was an email of how much I paid. It almost looks like a scam receit. It does not have the companies name or details or my account or car warranty policy number ....very vague. It also has an incorrect address for me. I have called several times today, August 27th, 2024 and all the customer ********************** agents are completely rude, run circles over my questions, refuse to answer my questions and lie telling me a manager or supervisor will call me back. I told them to pull the recorded call of what ***** told me and was told a supervisor would do so . No manager or supervisor has called me back nor do they care to pull the recorded phone call of all the lies ***** told me to get me to buy the car warranty One customer ********************** representative said she contacted the supervisor by email and the supervisor told her to tell me it was unlimited for $1700 and that she would call me back. She never did . She also changed her story around to say that it was $1700 paid off in full but not limited Miles and only 4 years . Needless to say now I'm being told I won't be getting a copy of the policy in my email and that I have to now wait 7 to ******************************************************************************* I don't respect the way this company lies to make a sale and that the supervisors lie on top it . I can just imagine how this company handles car claims .

      I purchased this extended warranty and when it was time to use it they gave me the run around. The warranty is paid in full and will not expire until 01/27/2027. I was only asking for them to repair my car now I want a full refund of the cot of the purchase price.

      I am filing a complaint on behalf of my elderly father in law who has dementia. The marketing scheme by this company makes their mailer look like it is a bill or something that needs to be paid. My father in law calls and this company must not be trained to be able to tell they are dealing with an elderly person with memory issues. When I called to try to get additional information, the person I was talking to (******) refused to tell me the name of the company so I could file a formal complaint. The only way I was able to figure it out was to do a phone number look up. This company preys on the elderly and I spend many hours trying to close out the multiple extended warrantees that my father in law buys. ****** and ***** were less then helpful customer ********************** representatives. What kind of unethical company customer ********************** representatives refuse to provide their company name when asked? I will be submitting the power of attorney to get this policy cancelled but it should not have to come to that in order for companies like this to not prey on the elderly. I do not want any further contact via phone calls or hard copy mail to my father in law. I have already contacted my state representative about this practice and I am contacting the ******** attorney general to lodge a complaint about this company and other companies like this. The May and June 2023 bill for this coverage is $182.46. I will be seeking a full refund and seeking additional help on how to stop this predatory practice on the elderly.

      We were contacted in June 2021 by AAP, **********, who sold ** a supposed "bumper to bumper extended warranty" for my **************************************************** the amount of $4,721.00 however every time we need to make a claim it conveniently isn't covered under the supposed "bumper to bumper extended warranty". I have called claims and they pull my information up and tell me we have to call AAP. I call AAP they can't pull anything up on me from the contract declaration page I am reading from, say nothing is found that I have to call claims and thus the circle; when I ask for a supervisor I am refused a supervisor and told I have to call claims. Claims cannot help me. I have paid a lot of money for something I can't even use. Why they can't pull my information up is nuts as the claims department pulls it right up. I want a refund of my entire amount that I have paid over the last 2 years of $4,721.00. My service contract # is MPF098108, my phone number on my contract is ************. Furthermore, sales rep that answers at AAP says I am yelling at her which I was speaking loudly as I was on a speaker phone so my husband could hear the conversation. I told her I wasn't yelling if she wanted yelling I would sound like this and yelled. She hung up on me 2 times and has blocked my phone number. This is absolutely the worst nightmare and I am so angry by now because I keep getting the run around. I need to fix the *** on my car and it isn't covered, the radiator wasn't covered, and etc. Every time something goes wrong with my car, it isn't covered. I bought a piece of c*** policy and was lied to and they refuse to pull my information and help. I would appreciate any assistance you can give. I see they have a horrible rating and I am so sorry I picked up the phone the day they called.

      Tele-marketers Target Elders in Senior Living Body: A tele-marketer recently called my 88-year-old father in his ******************** to sell him an extended car warranty, despite the fact that my father no longer drives or pays his own bills. At first my father thought he needed the warranty, then he referred the caller to me, as daughter and ***, because they were asking him for the *** and mileage. I spoke with the marketer and declined the coverage. Now my father is receiving bills from a Billing Service Provider for this alleged extended car warranty - MEPCO **************** When I called AFFORDABLE AUTO SHIELD to dispute the $348.72 bill and explained who I was, they asked for a copy of the *** before they could share any details. I refused to provide it since I do not even know if the company is legit. I am positive that my father did not sign anything or provide payment over the phone. He is now receiving bills stating a monthly payment of $174.36, with 22 payments remaining. Furthermore, both his first and last name are misspelled on the invoice.I have filed a complaint with the **** Report number: *********.       I bought an extended car warranty on 02/05/2021. I took my car to the dealership about 3 weeks ago and they tried filing a claim on my car. The week the servers and phone lines were down and they couldn't talk with no one. So I tried and it was the same response. The second week they gave us a new number to call and they gave us a email address to file the claim and the service guy (******) file the claim per and phone call. No one responded back. So I called them again and they told me that the adjuster (*****************************) was waiting on certain information from the service department of the dealership (mileage/failures) in which (******) had provided 3 times already. He tried calling (*******) directly using extension **** leaving messages and still no response from *******. I've called and emailed ******* and I still haven't gotten a response.

      I called to discuss what was missing on my contract on 08/09/2022. I was met with a very unprofessional person. After dealing with him I elected to cancel the contract. If this is how you treat customers, I would be afraid who I would get and how i would be treated for needing service on my vehicle. I called the company on back on 08/19/2022 concerning my refund check and was informed I needed to provide additional information in order to get my refund. That is the notarized letter dated 08/19/2022. On 05/2021 I paid the $99.00 and $145.71 was deducted monthly until the last payment came out on 08/2022. I called this company for my refund on 09/09/2022 i was told they received the letter on 08/26/2022, and it will take 13 weeks for my check, 11/13/2022, 12/07/2022, 12/09/2022 ***** said she was going to send my request to upper management, 1/06/2023, 2x on 02/02/2023 ***** said it was in a bulk to go out no explanation, 02/03/2023. I have not made a claim on this contract. Per there policy, I should have received my refund within 30 days minus the administrative fee of $75.00. As of today 02/09/2023 I am still waiting for my refund of $2,256.31.

      Called to cancel the contract and spoke to a representative by the name of ***** who refused to cancel the contract because he felt like **************** was being "told" what to do. *************** is physically challenged at this time due to several strokes and often responds to infomericals and solicited phone calls. We have had to call and cancel this service on several occassions and we need it cancelled ASAP. He is clearly being taking advantage of and currently under Drs orders NOT TO DRIVE!
