    Complaint Type: Service Issue / Customer Relations Status: Unresolved as of May 26, 2025 On Thursday, May 8th, 2025, my fiancée and I brought our vehicle to Chevrolet of Wesley Chapel after a mechanical failure. Based on AutoNation’s recommendation, we sought a diagnostic and warranty evaluation. We were told repairs would cost approx. $9,000, and an adjuster would assess coverage. On Saturday, May 10, 2025, we visited to request a printed report and were pressured into considering a new vehicle purchase instead of paying for the repairs. By Tuesday, we were informed none of the repairs were covered, conflicting with information from AutoNation. We decided to retrieve the vehicle and were unexpectedly charged a $220 diagnostic fee, which had never been disclosed upfront. After discussion, we paid a reduced amount of $175. A third-party mechanic later showed the diagnostic codes to have been passed. Only one code came up as "failed and pass" on the same ignition cycle. Why would a company try to get us to either pay nearly $9000 in car repairs for problems that do not need to be fixed or buy another car? The most alarming issue came when a manager, Matthew ******, informed us that we had been banned from the dealership without reason, and promised a refund—which we have not received as of May 26. We are requesting: A formal investigation into the handling of our case A written explanation for the ban A refund of the $175 diagnostic fee Improved transparency in handling warranty cases We believe this treatment was unprofessional and retaliatory, and we hope GM and Lithia Motors address the matter appropriately.

    WORST DEALERSHIP OUT THERE! DO NOT SHOP WITH THEM!!! they lied to me about a vehicle I purchased from them site unseen promising the vehicle was in QUOTE (In Pristine condition) when it arrived it had stone chips and scratches all over it looked like they tried to hide some of them with touch up paint, when confronted first they tried to blame it on the delivery driver then said it is what it is and the used car director swore at me twice on the phone and said they would not do a thing for me and threw hidden costs into the transaction not to mention they didn’t clean or detail the vehicle whatsoever there was still a water bottle in the front cup holder and pollen in all over the back seat and floor a 2024 with very low mileage VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND IGNORANT!!! STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE

    Not satisfied with service department. Complete waste of 4 hours, and recalls are still not fixed. If I have a scheduled appointment, wouldnt you think to have the parts ready for the recall in stock. But instead I'm expected to come back anther day and waste more of my time.

    I have had a truck from this dealer for less than six months. I received a recall notice about 3 weeks ago regarding a software update because my battery could be silently drained. I have been trying to speak to a service advisor since then and keep getting told that nobody is available to take my call but they will mark this as urgent so somebody can call back as soon as available before the end of the day. I have left several voice messages and been told the same thing over and over again for the past three weeks and nobody has bothered to call me back. If this is the same service that I will expect at any other ***** dealership, I think that this will be my first and last ***** truck, the customer service of this dealership at least on the service side is horrible and needs to improve considerably.

    Title: Beware of False Promises and Hidden Costs!Review: I recently purchased a vehicle from Chevrolet of Wesley Chapel, which came with the *********** Protection" package. This package cost me an additional $2,895 and was presented as a comprehensive solution for protecting the vehicle's appearance and performance, with features like Permaplate Exterior Paint Protection, LoJack GPS, and more.However, after encountering a scratch on my car, I was told that it wasn't covered, despite the package being marketed as protecting the exterior from minor abrasions. This feels misleading and deceptive. If Permaplate Paint Protection is supposed to shield the vehicle from environmental elements, how can scratches, one of the most common forms of wear and tear, be excluded?I feel scammed by this dealership. The package is overpriced, and the coverage doesnt align with what they claim. I strongly recommend being cautious if you're offered this packagebe sure to get specific details on what is and isn't covered before you ******'s disappointing to be charged almost $3,000 for a "protection" plan that doesnt provide the protection they promised. Buyers beware!

    Took my truck in for a broken motor mount didn’t even make it home and it went into limp mode. The ESC went off. Had my truck towed to the dealership called told me that my throttle body was bad but they were going to try and clean my throttle body, first of all if it was bad in the first place why try and clean it just replace it up after they cleaned it supposedly went to drive it the next day to Wesley Chapel and broke down same problem so I was close enough to the dealership so I drove it over there having to pull off the sides of the road multiple times to restart my truck so that I could drive it there and look at my truck so then I had it to another mechanic shop and they informed me that my throttle body was completely unrepairable. They needed to replace it but before they replaced it, they cleared drove it for engine cycles and the code tripped again they cleared. It drove it again for engine cycles Came on again, so then they replace the throttle body and no problems sense they also told me that that’s more than likely what the mechanics at Wesley Chapel Chevrolet did to my truck. All they done was reset the code so that I could drive it and I know there’s people nowadays that are there for a check or ones that actually likes to work . so I went back to Wesley Chapel of Chevrolet. Talk to the general manager general manager sent me to the service manager. The service manager had me talk to one of their mechanics and I explained to them the whole problem and naturally, they said that those were the steps that they had to take, and they put everything in writing in the computer and their words to cover their butt , but it doesn’t with me because they charge me for work on something that they told me was broke in the first place so I will never take my vehicles back here again if you like to play lottery and just throw your money away, this is the dealership for you nothing but a big scam I just wish Wesley Chapel Chevrolet would man up and make it right

    Horrible Place To do business! I was told 3 different things to purchase a vehicle. Showing proof I have more than 1/2 million in my account. 1st I was told 1k to hold the truck while it was in transit. I declined. The truck made it I called and asked if I brought a $1500 down will I be able to finance and take the truck home and be back the following week to pay it in full. I was told yes by the salesman Angel who was absolutely great. My ride left me because all was good. Then the nitwit Ryan states they will hold it but I couldn't leave with it because I don't make enough money to finance which is disrespectful and then he had the audacity to say I'm making this personal. In reality he personally offended me. I am a TBI patient with settlement and lawsuit money as well as a business owner who makes 10× more money than him to be put down like that. Not only did this cause me to waste my day and gas but to know this isn't a place to do business at all!!!! He offered me a ride home to try and make things better which I declined.

    This company has serious problems being honest with the customer. I was given a price for a car and in order to get it I was told I needed to put down a deposit. So I did and once I did they tried changing the price by added shipping and then she changed the shipping price. I then called the store location and asked to talk to someone. I got a salesperson and got no help and switched over to voicemail in which I called back and asked to talk to a manager. I got a guy who had eventually told me he was not going to sell the car to me anymore because I asked for a itemized list with all the fees detailed and said I was being rude and then he hung up on me. Now they say this is non-refundable

    09/2022 ****** (sales rep) was very friendly and helpful. He was able answer my questions and work with me to come to a deal that was satisfactory. ****** (manager) also assisted in making sure a couple of things were repaired on the certified per-owned truck. Definitely a different atmosphere than most dealerships. ***** in finance was also very helpful and made the transaction easy.08/2023 Fast forward a year and its a different story. Now I need some work done to the truck and it does not show up as Certified Pre-Owned in the ** database. I was told it was never entered at the time of my purchase. Its taken over a week now and Ive been assured the problem is being corrected but it still hasnt happened. Meanwhile the local dealer will not work on the truck until its entered as Certified Pre-Owned. I was told it would take ***** hours. Ive been told Id get a call back but Im still waiting. It seems Im being lied to in hopes Ill just go away.
