I ordered a dumpster rental to be delivered on 7/3/25. It was never delivered. I called them several times that day attempting to verify that it was still being delivered and was not able to get anyone on the phone. I called all day yesterday and got placed on hold several times with no solution. Only a text message saying it was being escalated and to expect a call or text. I dont understand whats so hard about just rescheduling the delivery since it has already been paid for. Theres really no need to escalate the matter. To Whom It May Concern: Customer ordered a 10yd container with 7 ********************** days and a weight allowance of *****lbs. The requested delivery date was for 7/3/2025, on 7/7/2025 customer called inquiring when the container could be expected, it was relayed that dispatch had yet to confirm. a delivery date. Container was successfully delivered on 7/10/2025. Customer was given additional ********************** days for the delay in delivery. The day after delivery started her rental days and customer was provided an extra 3 days, so instead of 7 days, we provided the customer with 10 days which does not include the day of delivery. Customer did reach back out to our office on 7/17/2025 requesting removal of the container. At the time of this response, we are still awaiting for confirmation of removal from dispatch. According to the dates, it looks like the complaint was submitted prior to the customer receiving the container onsite. It is note worthy, the customer accepted and did not refuse the container once it arrived onsite. We do apologize for any inconveniences the delay may have caused, but we can not guarantee delivery times or dates due to circumstances beyond our control. We did compensate the delay by providing the customer with additional days onsite if they needed them. The attached invoice shows customer was NOT charged any ********************** days. Overage charge was absolutely impossible. I could not (as a woman) have physically carried over 2 tons of materials in 3 days. I'm not sure how they are getting fake weight tickets from the dump but they are! This is ridiculous! They claim to have sent an email when they billed my credit card for the overage but I do not have an email from them. They just billed my card without my knowledge. The dumpster sat in my driveway for many days after I called for pick up. SCAM SCAM SCAM. They will show a ticket. It is absolutely impossible. My dumpster contained old deck wood and aluminum deck furniture. It wasn't even full. It definitely didn't weigh over ***** pounds.Business Response

To Whom It May Concern: ****** L ******** (customer) called in on 4/8/2025 requesting a quote on a container. Customer was given a quote of $369.00 on a 15yard container which included *****lb weight allowance and 7 rental days. Customer signed the attached agreement same day, container scheduled and delivered on requested date of 4/9/2025. Customer called in late afternoon for a removal which was sent to dispatch next day to set up removal. The removal of the container was done on 4/21/2025 early am. The landfill ticket (attached) shows the container being on the scale at 9:16am. When a container is removed from a customer's location it is taken directly to a landfill. Only one container can fit on a truck, only one container fits on a scale at a time. We can assure the landfill ticket is that of the customer's container. ********************** does not own the landfill and in no way will or can manipulate such a facility. Landfills are regulated by various levels of government, including state and local environmental agencies and by the ********************************** (***). The scales used to weigh the container is inspected and certified periodically. We stand by the official document provided from the landfill in which we have no ownership in. Hopefully, customer will take a look at her signed agreement and know everything quoted was given in writing. The container is weight is NOT determined by volume or how full the container is... it is solely based on the scale weight. The charges for the weight overages do stand and no refund is due. On June 30, 2025, I was charged two different amounts by Affordable Dumpster Rental: $493.20 and $347.40. I only authorized one dumpster rental. I do not understand why two charges were made on the same day, and both appear to be from the same business in *******************, ***I tried contacting the company to clarify, but I have not received a clear explanation or resolution. I believe one of these charges may be a duplicate or unauthorized. To Whom It May ************************** Customer called ********************** on 5/30/2025 wanting a quote on a 40yard container. Customer was quoted $799.00 for a ****** which included *****lb weight allowance and 8 rental days. The agreement was sent to the email provided at: ******************* in which the customer signed. (attached) Per customer's request the container was scheduled and delivered on 6/2/2025. On 6/4/2025, the customer called asking for the container onsite to be removed and wanted to order another container for the same delivery address. Customer asked for the same size container, a 40yard which came with *****lb weight allowance and 8 rental days. The container onsite was swapped out on 6/5/2025 and a new container placed per customer's request. On 6/10 customer called asking the second container to be picked up. It was scheduled with dispatch and removed the next day, 6/11/2025. Both service agreements for both containers are attached. Both invoices showing the charges customer has mentioned in the complaint are attached. Only one landfill ticket was attached to this complaint due to a 5 document maximum. The customer requested the landfill tickets for both containers and both landfill tickets were sent to the customer's email on file on 7/1/2025. We are not quite sure why customer says only one container was ordered, when in fact there were two containers delivered to the same address provided by the customer and are documented on both service agreements signed by the customer. Both charges $493.20 and $347.40 were for additional weight after going over the *****lb allowance. Both charges stand and are outlined in the signed agreements. Both charges were authorized per the agreement signed by the customer. There are no refunds due to the customer. We encourage the customer to please take a look at the signed agreements to fully understand the charges are clearly spelled out and what occurs should the container weight more than the weight allowance included in the agreements. Avoid Affordable Dumpster Rental Misleading and ************ Do not use Affordable Dumpster Rental. They are not a real dumpster rental company they operate as a call center that outsources jobs to whatever local service is available in your area. I had a terrible experience:Drop-off was a day late, which disrupted my project schedule.Pickup took three days, even after I called to follow up multiple times.I ordered a 3-ton dumpster, but they claimed there was a ***** lb overage and charged me an extra $350 with no proof or weight ticket provided.Their ads are misleading, and youre better off going directly with a locally-owned dumpster service thats transparent and reliable. To Whom It May Concern: Customer called on 5/27/2025 to order a 30 yard container, which comes with a weight allowance of *****lbs and 4 rental days to be delivered on 5/30/2025, we do not rent 3 ton containers.(Signed Agreement attached) On 5/28/2025 we received a email from customer (attached) wanting the container to be delivered on 6/7/2025. We made the changes and dropped the container off on 6/6/2025 one day early, since there is no deliveries done on Saturdays, delivery ticket is attached. Customer called in on 6/6/2025 to say the container was ready for pick up, we sent request to dispatch same day at 3:38PM. Dispatch scheduled the removal for the next business day which was Monday, 6/9/2025 since there are no such services on Sat or Sun. Our records do not show customer ask for a landfill ticket. Once we got this complaint, we sent the landfill ticket to the email on file. As far as misleading, don't even know how to respond to that. The customer called asking for a container according to his needs, we provided what container sizes we have and cover what services came with the rental. Also, we provided all the information in writing as well. The charge for the weight overages stand and are charged according to the customer's agreement. ********************** is not a call center. I rent a dumpster and pay with my debit card over phone about 425 dollars on february 28.Dumpster was on my property 10 days.Two months after i recived call from bank that someone is traying to take money from my acount.Same day i went to Vystar and canceled my card ,bank compleate fraud case .Next morning my paychek was deposited and all money was taken by affordable dumpster *********** trayed twoce to recover my money but affordable dumpster denies.They held my card info for two months and then took over 800 from account.Business Response

To Whom It May Concern: Customer ordered a 30 yard container on 2/27/2025 for delivery on 3/3/2025, made contact with customer letting customer know we did not have 30 yards available but could deliver a 20 yard container unless she was willing to wait. Customer opted to change to a 20 yard container with *****lb allowance and 10 rental days. The agreement is attached. Container was delivered on 3/3/2025 and customer requested removal for 3/13/2025. Container was removed same day, the landfill ticket with the date and the tonnage is attached. Once the landfill bills our office for the weight we key in the information into the customers account which was done on 4/14/2025 in the amount of $851.40. I show the transaction was ran and was successful, the receipt for the transaction is attached. I do not show any other attempts on the card. The card is legally kept on file until the transaction is completed, this is all done in PCI compliance with the credit card processors. Customer should refer to the agreement which states some transactions can take 4 weeks to 8 weeks and sometimes longer to complete. We do not own the landfill and are at their mercy when it comes to timely or untimely billing. Again, everything is spelled out in the customer's agreement. The customer did a chargeback with her bank, we fought the case and WON due to the fact the customer signed an agreement which covers in detail the weight and what to expect regarding the billing should the container go over the weight allowance. Our church was in need of a dumpster for the annual cleanup which is held on a Saturday. I called in 6/19/25 and spoke with ***** for our initial order, setup, signed agreement and delivery date. We did run into a hiccup with our company credit card but after a call to bank that was cleared up. Our order was set for a 40 yard dumpster to be delivered on Friday, June 21, 2025. We waited all day and nothing. I had to keep calling every 2-3 hrs for an update to see if we could be given an ETA which I was told they do not offer which is strange. We waited, waited, and nothing no dumpster delivered. I called prior to and spoke with ****** for an estimated ETA that she was to message the dispatcher and see when they would arrive. I asked if I needed to call or would they call me back. She let me know that they would send a text within 20 minutes. I waited, waited, and nothing again! At 4 pm I called and was routed to **** who assisted me and sent me over to customer concerns. I was told by this *** that they received an update about 2 hrs ago in the system that no 40 yard dumpsters were available and would be re scheduled for Tuesday. WHAATTT I was so disappointed and upset not at the *** who was assisting but why wouldnt they call to let me know. How do you get to determine a re-delivery? We dont need it anymore on a Tuesday. Your fast to set up an order, new agreement, and CHARGE a credit card, but not quick to resolve the issue!! I want a refund and do not want to ever do business with Affordable Dumpster Rentals. I let him know they have to implement a better system than what they are operating on. He stated that they were short staffed and behind, then where is management to help with the logistics and why keep accepting new agreements and your behind schedule? That is not great customer service and not how you run a business!! To Whom It May Concern: Customer ordered a 40 yard container with ******* allowance which included 7 rental days. The order was delayed due to an issue with the card on file declining. Once the issue was resolved we tried to move forward with the scheduling, however the customer then decided on a placement change which then had to be relayed to the dispatcher. By the time the changes were completed, we were notified that there were no more 40 yard containers available and the delivery could not happen until Tuesday, the 24th at 5:04PM. This message was relayed to the customer at ****** letting him know we can deliver a 30 yard if he chooses to proceed and could do it same day, being 6/20th. Customer opted to cancel. We proceeded with refunding the customer, proof of the refund is attached. Customer needs to understand in order to schedule the container payment must be secured first, then scheduling. Changes once the agreement is signed also creates issues in the fact these changes do not get quick responses all the time. We are dependent on dispatch and awaiting their responses which most of the time is 2 hours or less, but it does take time which does cause delays. This company was suppose to deliver a dumpster to our house Tuesday 6/10. I signed and paid for a dumpster 6/9. I have rented multiple dumpsters and never have I had to sign a contract. I signed one. Then they said they forgot to put in a daily rate so I signed a second one. We took off Tuesday to start on our project and the dumpster never came. I called on Wednesday (a day my husband took off) and it hadnt come by 12 noon. I had to call multiple times and there would be 8 people in line and by the time I got to the next caller it pushed me thru to a voice mail. I left 2 voice mails and never had anyone call related to the voice message. I finally got thru to someone who stated they would find out when delivery would be and she stated she would reach out to me with a time. She never texted. Then I called again to follow up and they stated they could not tell me when delivery was (mind you we had planned contractor work for 6/12 and have to have a dumpster) so I asked to cancel. He said Id have to speak with a manager and transferred me and then I was in 7th in line as a caller and pushed thru to voice mail. Finally I called and got someone who stated they would cancel and have a manager call. Unfortunately being at work I missed the call, they said they would cancel but I would be charged 75$!!!!!!! It has taken me 3 more attempts to get someone online and then they send me thru to the correct department (this call was at 4 pm) and Im once again in line caller number 10!!!!! I attached the date the contract was sign and the delivery date. I attached y calls today not showing my call at 4 pm. To Whom It May Concern: The customer in fact did call in on 6/9th to secure a container for 6/10/2025. There was an issue with the agreement so a new one was sent to the customer, the problem is the customer did not sign the new agreement until 6/11 which caused a delay. The customer called in on 6/11/2025 requesting delivery for Wednesday, 6/11 and if not she was okay with delivery for 6/12/2025. On 6/11/2025 at 3:54PM customer calls wanting to cancel. We left a voicemail letting customer know the container was cancelled and her card on file would be refunded minus the cancellation fee. The attached agreement spells out cancellations and also the invoice is attached showing customer was refunded. We tried on this occasion to satisfy the customer on the delivery delays in which she wanted to move forward. We contacted dispatch letting them know customer was okay with delivery on 6/11th or 12th. I am submitting this formal complaint regarding Affordable Dumpsters, whose conduct and service were both unprofessional and unacceptable. This company failed to deliver the service they promised, wasted my time, and created unnecessary stress and delays for my project due to their internal disorganization and poor communication.
On June 9, I signed a contract with Affordable Dumpsters for a dumpster rental, expecting delivery on June 10, per the agreement. Unbeknownst to me, they canceled that original contractdue to their own failure to include necessary informationand issued a new one without notifying me. When the dumpster had still not arrived by June 11, I had to reach out myself, only then learning that a new contract was required. I was told if I signed the new one, they would try to deliver same day, which is the only reason I agreed to sign again. The representative promised a callback after speaking to dispatchbut that never happened.
I spent hours trying to get answers. Each time I called, I was 7th or 8th in line, only to be sent to voicemail when I was finally next. When I did reach a representative, they couldnt give me any definite delivery information and instead told me that dispatch was busy. No one in the company could promise when the dumpster would actually arrivenot even for June 12. This is not only unacceptable service, its a complete lack of professionalism.
Affordable Dumpsters caused days of delay through no fault of my own. I signed their contract in good faith, but they did not honor the timeline or communicate reliably. Their customer service is disorganized and inaccessible. There is no direct way to get help, no accountability, and no respect for the customers time or trust.
This company has shown a clear lack of care for its customers, and I believe its important for the BBB and the public to be made aware. A national company that cannot provide timely service, accurate information, or basic follow-up should not be able to operate without consequence. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
Given these circumstances, I am formally requesting a full refund of the $75 fee. I am also requesting the recorded call logs from June 11, as I believe they will demonstrate the companys failure to follow through on their promises. I am more than willing to collect wait times from my cell phone company. Providing any sort of evidence based on what BBB needs to make a formal public complaint I something I am happy to do and go to great lengths to get. Please let me know what data you would require to make a decision.
If Affordable Dumpsters values its reputation, it should own its mistakes. Holding onto $75 at the expense of customer trust is short-sighted and unethical. I expect the BBB to take this matter seriously and help ensure consumers are protected from companies that operate in this manner.Business Response

To Whom It May Concern: We stand by the cancellation fee of $75.00 and here is why. Customer called in at ****** to rent the container and at 1:31PM the agreement was sent to the ******** for signature. Our service *** saw the agreement had a clerical error in which the agreement was missing the amount it would cost should the ******** go over the ********************** days. Attached is a screenshot showing when the ******** called to rent the container. Also, attached is another screenshot showing the *** at 2:49PM tried to call the ******** to advise the first agreement was no good and we sent a new corrected agreement showing the extra day rental charge. The *** also text the ******** since she had to leave a voicemail (******** did not answer). The text message stated to please re-sign the new agreement in which it clearly shows ******** responded at 3:25 with "Okay!" The problem lies with the fact the ******** did not sign the new agreement until 6/11/2025, which caused the delay. Affordable Dumpster Rental could not schedule the container until the agreement was received, once received ******** gave the okay to deliver on 6/11 or 6/12/2025. On 6/11/2025 3:56 PM it is noted by one of our ***s ******** is wanting to cancel. Customer was informed of the cancellation fee and it is clearly stated in the agreement. Also, if the ******** would have waited and cancelled on 6/12th the cancellation fee would have been $250.00. Again, we stand by the $75.00 cancellation fee. Thank you!Initial Complaint

On June 9th I made plans to have a dumpster delivered at my home on July 5th - the company on June 6th provided me with a quote and verified the dumpster size and frequency of pick up were ok - I finalized the plan and contract on June 9th and paid for the drop and first rental 2 weeks. After that was complete the company called to inform me that they no longer feel they can get the dumpster into my driveway. I verified measurements and the company rechecked with the driver. The company feels they cannot get the size of dumpster needed. I called to cancel due to not being able to deliver what was ordered and they charging me a $75 cancellation fee. This is their call and they are not delivering the service I agreed upon - therefore I dont feel I should be charged for this. This was also handled within 24 hours with more than 3 weeks notice.Business Response

In April 2025 we needed a dumpster for a Church clean up day. Affordable Dumpster Rental quoted us and somehow was able to charge our card in advance because we had used them before. They claim that they had authorization to charge the card by the maintenance man but he had no authority and did not have the card. They saved our card from over a year ago and used it. They were supposed to bring the dumpster Friday evening for our volunteer workers to start work early Saturday morning, but they showed up with the dumpster after 4pm on Saturday, or maybe Sunday morning, when everyone had gone home. The clean up crew was calling them all day Saturday, May 3rd, and the first time they said they were on the way. We called over 20 times on the day of the clean up, but after that first lie about being on the way, they didn't answer anymore. We never used the dumpster. They refuse to give us a refund and now they are blocking our calls. Stay away from these people!Business Response

To Whom It May Concern: I have PO# ADR365701 which I hope is correct since I show no dumpster for April 2025. The customer claims in the complaint they have previously ordered containers from us but I show no other PO for the address shown on this complaint. Therefore, making the statement that we copied their card from a previous order untrue. Once the container was order by a gentleman calling himself ****, he put on a lady by the name of ******** in which a card was provided to secure and schedule the order placed. Container was asked to be delivered 5/2 in which it was not, customer was okay with it being delivered on Saturday. According to dispatch the container was dropped at 9AM on 5/3rd. The container was then removed on Monday, 5/5 due to customer wanting to cancel the order. We explained there would be a cancellation fee or at least a trip charge. After speaking to dispatch they agreed to a trip charge instead of a full container rental. The customer per the attached invoice was refunded $159.00 of the $409.00 previously paid. I am not showing 20 calls, neither am I showing any blocked calls. We do just have a skeleton crew on Saturdays, hence some calls are not returned until Monday. We work from a Dial Pad App which occasionally will cause some issues, but we are able to return customer's calls/texts messages within a 2 hour period. I just had my 20yd dumpster from AFFORDABLE DUMPSTERS picked up a couple weeks ago. A received another charge on my card for nearly double what was expected. The original rent was $579. Then they charged me another $500 for overweight fees. First of all I know the weight did not reach over *****lbs that they are claiming. Also, Ive come to realize they set their weight limit extremely below industry standard. This is where they scam people. This is completely dishonest and fraudulent behavior. It is clear they rely on a customers lack of knowledge in the ******************** business. Why are they still in business? This type of behavior should be unacceptable and should be shut down immediately. Since when does a large scam operation like this be tolerated? Also I paid this company with a new credit card, my only purchase and today received fraudulent purchases on my card for over $1,000. SHUT THEM DOWN. p.s. how do they show 4.9 star reviews on ******? To Whom It May Concern: Customer order a container which was delivered on 5/9/2025, customer final on 5/19/2025 and dispatch picked up container on 5/23/2025. Customer order a 20 yard with a ******* allowance with 10 rental days included. The agreement specifically says, if the container should go over the weight, the card on file would be automatically billed the overage should there be ant. The signed agreement, the invoice and the landfill ticket are all attached. The customer's container is put on a certified scale inspected by ***/***. The weight for customer's container was 3.24 tons which is *****lbs minus *****lbs leaving an overage of *****lbs. We sale containers based on a normal average and cannot guess what one individual container will weigh. Affordable Dumpster Rental does NO cold calling sales, all customers call into our business to purchase/order their container. I am rejecting this response because:their weight limits, although stated in their contract, are very far below what similar companies charge. It is clear they are unwilling to admit this, leaving future customers vulnerable to their adverse tactics. They may have the right to do this but I still believe its unethical.

To Whom It May Concern: Affordable Dumpster Rental does not do COLD calling, customers call us for their container needs. We provide customers a quote upfront along with everything in writing so they are well informed. In this case the customer requested a 20 yard container which comes with a weight allowance of *****lbs along with 10 rental days in the amount of $579.00. Spelled out in the agreement and on the customer's invoice, it shows if the container goes over the weight allowance how much each additional pound is along with the daily rate if customer keeps the container longer than the 10 rental days. The agreement also, says the card on file will be charge any additional charges should there be any. Again, I hope this explains and addresses the customer's concerns. Please know we take pride in the services we offer and so there is no misunderstanding, we provide it all in writing. Thank you!
