There are two fraudulent charges on my credit card that I want refunded, coded as:October 22, 2024 for $9.85 DOCWELL ********** for INSURANCE October 22, 2024 for $9.75 DOCWELLID8007571527 for LEGAL AND PROFESSIONAL 2. There are two pending fraudulent charges on my credit card that I want reversed:November 04, 2024 for $19.90 DOCWELL ******** for MISCELLANEOUS November 04, 2024 for $24.90 DOCWELL ******** for MISCELLANEOUS 3. I want all charges from ******* to cease.I believe that these charges are connected to two phone calls I made on October 21, 2024, attempting to change contact information on my MasterCard. The phone number I was given was apparently not **********'s customer service, but the representatives who answered my call did not identify the company they work for. They claimed that they could help me with the change of contact information for my ********** and promised a promotional MasterCard gift card within 3-5 business days. They did not describe any products or services or ongoing charges to my **********, and I did not agree to any products, services, or monthly charges.Initial Complaint

I have mailed a cancellation letter in January 2024 and it is now April and have not received a reply. I had been to several dental and medical providers and none of them accept nor honor this plan. I have tried repeatedly to cancel over the phone as well, but it keeps saying the number is not in service. In the meantime, Doc Wellness keeps charging me $24.90 every month and takes the money out of my account and there is no customer service to speak to. 03/30/24 I had called ******* to resubscribe and change the account name from ****************** to my name ****************** a woman came on whom I could barely understand. She stated I would be charged 9.95 and she navigated me through the process or the process I thought was resubscribing. When I questioned her were these charges for the regular subscription I paid prior and the more I questioned her she interrupted me and spoke over me. I managed to get a 800 number from her which was for a free life alert. I also looked up the charge on my card which is Docwell.com She also ended up hanging up on me after she gave me that 800 number.I looked them up to request a refund and cancel any further transactions from them but the number I called ************* is not in service. I am still being charged from this *********************** This time they used a different name . Docwellid in the amount of ***** this time. I once again tried calling them with a non working number again. I once again am trying to dispute this amount with my bank but as this is pending on my account I have to wait till it is complete.
I saved their website on my phone home page so I can continually try calling.
Their website has no other number to call. I have again left a message from a vm to call me back.

Earlier this morning, I called healthfirst to try to reinstate my health insurance as I had to leave my job due to a health issue I have been facing. The woman I spoke with gave me another number ************* which was the state because in order for my coverage to be reinstated my account needs to be verified with the state. I spoke with an agent who told me in order to reinstate my insurance I would have to make a one time payment over the phone of 4.95. I went back and forth with him for about an hour before I decided to just do it because I need my health insurance but I only had 19 dollars to my name. The payment of 4.95 went through and immediately a charge of 9.95 followed. I was still on the phone so I questioned him about the payment he denied having any knowledge of it and told me they would send me a email with my confirmation number, a support service to get my money back and some other information in the mail in a few days. I googled the company name when I saw the unauthorized transaction on my account and saw that so many others had the same experience. Unfortunately, I never received any email so I have not been refunded and only have 4 dollars left in my account. I now have to cancel my card and hope that I can get my money back. Its unfortunate that you turn to people to look for help when you genuinely need it only for you to be taken advantage of and robbed of your money. Apparently, the conversations are recorded for quality assurance and training purposes but what they really do is record you giving them all your information so they can use the recording of your voice to make future transactions on your card without your consent or authorization. I am frustrated and feel defeated and I hope this business will be held accountable for their deceit and theft.Business Response

While trying to solve a billing error with Dropbox, I was told to wait on the technician I was working with. Then immediately without permission, a female voice proceeded to give me a sales pitch for something I could not clearly understand. Then I heard her say a charge of $9.95 would be made to my debit card. I had not given my debit card to this very strange woman but had given it to the Dropbox support person in order to solve my billing problem with them. When the Dropbox individual again resumed his conversation, I was unable to get him to respond to my question about the sales pitch. Not only was he hard to understand, but he would not listen to me and continued to talk over me. I believe the Dropbox issue is being resolved but am totally confused and unclear what their relationship is with the party doing the sales pitch and giving them access to my Debit Mastercard. I was trying to pay a bill over the phone. Im not sure how I even got the charge from Docwell in the first place. Then all of a sudden they have been charging my account $24.90 for months. I was texted by this company (and several others) during state insurance (******.com) open enrollment period to call them and get my insurance plan for ****. I called the number and spoke with someone. I immediately asked if I was speaking with ******. The man on the phone said that I was. I told him I needed to find a plan that specifically covers my medication. I could hear him typing, as I told him the name of my meds. He said he had this Aetna plan that covered it, and that my co-pays would be $25. He said the plan would be $54.95/month and to provide my card number so I can pay for the plan. I did and the phone hung up. On January 3, I was contacted by ****** about NOT having a new plan for ****. I told them that I was told I did, and I had paid for it. They said they don't have anything showing, and here's Aetna phone number. I called them, and they didn't have anything either. I contacted my bank, and they said to call the number associated with the payment. I did, and nobody answers the phone, but you can leave a message. I did, with no response. The automatic answering system says it's ***********. I did recieve a paper in the mail from this company Says it is dental access and NOT and insurance! I was COMPLETELY LIED to all the way around. They got my money, and I don't have insurance or my medicine!!Business Response

We have searched all active and Inactive members and cannot find a Customer by this name. The phone and address listed in the complaint also do not appear in our data base. Finally, our price point does not match the amount quoted and charged in the complaint. We did double check our merchant accounts but we have never had a charge for that amount. It appears someone is using our phone# in their merchant descriptor illegally. We appreciate this being brought to our attention as we will file a complaint with the processors involved. The date of the transactions were all made on 8/31/2023 from 2:50-3:05 pm for $9.95 each. I was told that my card was only needed for verification purposes only and I wouldn't be charged. I was charged $27 for each attempt to my account. I just want $108 to pay the overdraft fees to my account.Business Response
