    On July 8,2022 I hired Derrick with Gulf coast tree service to take down three trees in my back yard. On the 8th he said If I pay him $400 that day, he would do $400 worth of work and finish the job on the 9th. I paid him the $400 and he said he had to finish another project and he will come back that day. He didn't come back until the 10th. On the 10th, he cut down the smallest of the three trees. Which he left the tree laying in my back yard leaving it with out cleaning it up. On the 12th, he came and said he would finish the job that day and had asked for the rest of the money. He also had asked if he could leave his chipper in my yard over night and he would get it the next day which I told him yes. I had to leave the house before he was done so I paid him $500 which was the rest of the bill. When I returned to the house, all he did was cut down the branches to the two other trees and left them laying in my yard. On the 15th, his assistant came to the house to cut down the trunks he left up and to clean up the yard some. Now I have piles of tree and branches throughout my yard and into my neighbors yard including up to their house. Derrick has been promising me for days to finish the job. He told me he has to do other jobs so his family can eat and had admitted to doing other jobs instead of finishing mine, The last three days, he said with 100% or I promise to finish the job. Today is the night of the 23rd, my yard is still a mess with one of the trunks not cut, I still have piles of branches everywhere and I still have his chipper in my yard.
