On February 8, 2022 I went to the Bassin Center on Alafaya for a second opinion for marionette lines. Dr. Bassin said that a fat transfer would fix them. I told him that a nurse at another plastic surgery office in Winter Park had said I needed a face lift to get rid of them. He laughed and said that I had not seen a doctor at the other office. He said that a fat transfer would take care of the marionette lines and that I may need a little filler near the lips afterwards and that they would give me a discount on the filler That same day I paid $3,500. Went back a few days later for pictures and an antibiotic prescription. Did the procedure on March 1, 2022 awake which was horrible but he had said that it would be fine to do it awake. He did not even wear a mask to do the procedure! Never wears one. Had fat from my stomach put into my face. Returned on March 8, 2022 to be rechecked and at the time my face was swollen. I was told I did not need to return any more. A few weeks later I called the office to let them know that I did not see any results and returned on March 28, 2022. More pictures were taken of me and I was told I may need more fat transfer. Told to return again on April 26, 2022. When I returned that day the office staff said we can compare pictures and was agreeing that my marionette lines were still there. When Dr. Bassin came in the room he said that the only way to get rid of the marionette lines was to have a face life! I was in shock and speechless! He did not even want to compare pictures. Even said the fillers would not do anything but that if I wanted to try them he could recommend me to another place! So why did his place offer me a discount on fillers when they don't even do them there? I had the fat transfer because he said I did not need a face lift for the marionette lines and I paid $3500 for it and all I got from it was pain and little scars on my stomach and face! I am very disappointed. He did not even want to put more fat in the area.
