    This dispute relates to a contract signed with SealRite Pavers on 10/21/2024 for the ground prep and installation of pavers on a walkway and patio at my home (an approximate area of 1123 square feet). The agreed total for the job was $14,995.00, with a 50% deposit required at the time of contract signing, followed by payment at the completion of the job. An $8,000 check was given to **** *******, the Field Manager for SealRite Pavers, as a deposit on October 21, 2024. He stated that installation of the pavers would be in approximately 6-8 weeks and that the long length of time was largely due to the slowness by the manufacturer of the pavers (Artistic Pavers in *****, **). At the time of the contract being signed, ******* ******* stated that he would provide supervision of our project during installation, providing me with his business card should I and my husband have questions and needed to contact him. Since the signing of the contract I have contacted SealRite Pavers by phone, by e-mail and in person to request information about when the pavers were expected from the manufacturer and when the installation might be done, however have never received a date, or verification that an order was actually placed with the manufacturer. Equally concerning is that I sent e-mails to ******* ******* on Nov. 20, 2024 and January 20, *********************************** with no response. A final voice message and e-mail was sent to him on Jan. 27, 2025 to notify him that I wished to cancel my order with SealRite Pavers and receive a refund of our $8,000 deposit due to SealRite's failure to provide service. I related in the e-mail that their lack of follow-through was unacceptable and put in doubt the reliability of their service. I requested a response from him within 48 hours and if I had no response. No follow-up has been provided.

    A response was provided on January 27th letting the homeowner know that the material was arriving end of this week and installation would be next week. To date, the material has been delivered to our construction yard and our crew is preparing for installation next week. **** ******* will be contacting the homeowner today with installation dates.

    Contacted by ********* at SealRite Pavers this AM, 1/31/25, and told that the pavers have been received and the installation would likely begin either this Saturday, 2/1/25 or Monday, 2/3/25.  As of 2:45 PM most of the pavers were delivered to our home by **** *******.  He states that the installation will likely begin on Tuesday, 2/4/25 and the remainder of the pavers will be delivered on either Monday or Tuesday next week (2/3 or 2/4).  Do not want to close this complaint until the job has been successfully completed.

    I wish to inform you that this complaint can be closed since SealRite Pavers completed the contracted job to my satisfaction.  Thank you very much for your assistance.  Unfortunately, I believe that had it not been for the filing of the ** complaint, I would still be waiting for the job to be done.

    On 04/11/2023 we signed a contract with Sealrite Pavers to install a small patio. We put 1/2 of total payment down as a deposit. Sealrite Pavers indicated it would be 6 to 8 weeks to receive materials and install the patio. We contacted them in the beginning of June to get information about the progress of the project. Sealrite Pavers said they were waiting for materials. On June 5th (or so) Sealrite Pavers called to say they had the materials and would install by June 11, 2023. Sealrite Pavers called back on June 6 or 7 to delay because they didn't have enough employees to install the patio. We rescheduled for July 6th, 2023 . We called several times on June 30th to confirm. On June 30th Sealrite Pavers confirmed they would install the patio on July 6th, 2023. On July 3rd Sealrite Pavers called back and moved the install to July 10, 2023 because they were short-handed. On July 7th Sealrite Pavers called back to say they no longer had the materials to install the patio. They had used our materials for another project. Sealrite Pavers would have to reorder our materials. I then asked for a refund of deposit and to cancel contract. The woman I talked to said she couldn't make that decision but would talk to the owner of Sealrite Pavers and would call me back. She did not call back. We have called but they will only say that the owner isn't in the office and hasn't come into the office. It doesn't seem like a complicated decision. We would like them to contact us and let us know so we can move forward with our plans. Obviously they have a staffing problem and a inventory control problem. These are issues that are within the control of the company. We would like a refund, but would also appreciate some basic customer service. We have initiated most contact with the company and usually call several times before we reach anyone at Sealrite Pavers or get a call back from them. We have also complied with every schedule change with politeness and accommodation.
