On 10/3/2022, this company was hired by my HOA to repair the roof. I am deaf and mute. We had been provided notices to have any vehicles parked in the front to be moved for the entire week, which we did. My townhouse has a glass sliding door leading to my private patio. I woke up to strange man in my private patio setting down what appeared to be a tarp, roof equipment and a big ladder. I did not ask how they gained entry. I tend to not communicate with people unless i know they can sign and i know they were only there to do their job, but i was a bit startle, since no-one let me know strange man would be in my private patio. a couple days later watering my plant i notice my side fence was down, i assumed they needed to take it down to complete the roof work and it would be put back once it was completed. I again was never asked for permission to enter my patio, I later learned this is trespassing and no-one else's patio was used to access the roof besides mine. A week goes by and I notice the roofers are gone, job was completed and the fence is not only down is completely damaged from the men stepping on it, throughout the duration of their job. I contact my HOA, who then contacts the managers at this company. Their response. "What are you trying to pull" "The fence was already down, don't contact us again" completely unprofessional and a total lie. They tried to blame the hurricane, when in fact no fences in the entire complex were damaged and we were barely hit with winds in this area. They broke the fence and their man know this, but since I am the deaf lady, who they never asked for permission to come into my private property, they want to sweep it all under the rug. I want this company to know that they should always ask for a consumers permission to enter their private space and not discriminate because someone is deaf.
