    This company operates under difference .com names. They sell you a one time service and they continue to charge without any notifications. They change their names to make charges to the accounts. My experience with subscription fees is that I am contacted every month to inform me of these recurring charges. This company just keeps charging with no notification. These are few names that the company uses, ***************, ***************, ONLINEVINLOOKUPCOM, carhistoryinc. Based on what I read, they use this tactics many times.

    On January 21, 2025 I purchased access to a report for $1. Since that time, I have been charges a monthly fee of $30 on 6 different instances with the last time being in June 2020.

    I was charged $1 for a record look up while I was researching a car I later purchased. Now I'm getting charged $30 a month 5 times for a total of $150 dollars. There was no indication of any recurring charges as part of this transaction. It looks like they have an alternate website, "***************". That site shows up in the drafts against my checking account. The *************** site feels like an email address mining operation. I don't have any record of providing them my email address, and I can't find any email from them in my inbox nor in my junk folder. The problem with this is it doesn't appear on the web site that there is any way to cancel this bogus subscription without providing them an email address that I allegedly gave them.

    In December 2024, I visited a website I believed to be associated with the *** to access a driving record. The website was *************. I was under the impression I would be making a one-time payment of less than $2 for access to a document. However, I was unknowingly enrolled in a recurring subscription without my knowledge or consent. Since then, Ive been charged $28.95 every month with no way to cancel.The name of the vendor changed from ************* to *************** in my transaction history, which is suspicious and deceptive. ************* no longer even exists, and on the *************** site, there's no option to cancel a subscription, manage billing, or even verify the existence of an account. The live chat support is completely nonfunctional and appears automatedit does not offer real help or escalation options. There is also no legitimate phone number or working email listed for customer service.This company is using deceptive practices to enroll users into unwanted recurring charges while making it nearly impossible to cancel. I did not knowingly sign up for this, I never received anything of value in return, and I have no access to any subscription they claim I have. Im now out nearly $145.Desired Resolution:I am requesting a full refund of all charges and confirmation that all future billing has been canceled. I would also like the "company" to make their cancellation process transparent and accessible to others who may be affected.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me because I was provided with a full refund.

    That said, this business operates in a deceptive and predatory manner. The original website presented itself as affiliated with the ***, and at no point was it clear I was signing up for a recurring monthly charge. There was no account to log into, no visible terms, and no way to cancel or contact support other than a nonfunctional chat feature. I had to escalate this issue through the BBB and also filed a complaint with the ************************ to finally get a resolution.

     

    While I appreciate the refund, its clear this business only responds when consumers pursue formal action. Thats not ethical, and I hope this complaint contributes to broader scrutiny of their practices so others arent misled in the same way.

    I ran a background on the driving records never got a record back. But now getting charged ***** by a place called driving recs.tried to cancel but couldn't then couldn't find a phone number.

    Took fee of $1 for a record, i have since been charged $30 a month 4 times for a total of $120 dollars. In no way was i made aware of the reoccurring charges that would be made. I believe they also are operating under a new business website of *************** as that site is apart of the total amount i have been charged. The site ************* is also no longer reachable for me so if there is an account for it i cant access it to cancel anything as the site can't be reached.

    DMVREORDS>US>ORG scammed me out of $231.60 When I finally noticed the charge and called, they refunded me just 6 months of the 14 I had been charged. I'm looking to be made whole minus the $1.00 that I think is fare.

    I did not authorize these charges. Initially there was I believe $1 charge and now 2 weeks in a row they charged me $28.95 on 3/24 and on 3/10 for at total of $57.90

    This is a scam website. I have received 2 recurring payments of $***** on 1/20/25 and 3/11/25 after initially purchasing a VIN report for my car from ************** on 12/25/25 for *****. I did not sign up for recurring payments, so these charges are illegal. The last payment of $***** is also under a slightly different alias, Drivingrecs,com which was a big red *********** card payments have been disputed and I intend to track them down and take legal action if this is it resolved immediately.
