1 starCompletely dissatisfied with the service. If you want the gist of the story.. We had a leak, they tell us to essentially cut the pipe off to our fountain. (Not a fix) We opted to replace the valve instead of completely removing it. It took time to find the right part, didn't solve the leak, but exceeded the 30 day warranty period. So, we paid them a 2nd time to have them find the leak. They epoxy the bottom of the fountain without approval and now it doesn't work at all. Instead of rectifying the problem in ANY way, they tell us they don't work with fountains. Instead of taking our money, at least the 2nd time, someone should've mentioned that! We had to hire someone to not only find the leak correctly, but to fix the problem, and the one they left us!Leak Wizard Corporation

Hello. We always strive for 100% customer satisfaction, and are saddened to hear your experience was less than excellent and would like to address your review. Your first call to us was on 12/3/2024, with a complaint of water loss in the pool and visual evidence of water coming out of the back retention wall. We arrived on 12/6/24 and determined due to the amount of water coming out of the wall when the dolphin plumbing line was open, there was a broken line to the fountain. Your valve to this line was found to be bad and it was recommended to cut and cap the line to stop the water loss. We do not disassemble or work on statues, which would need to take place to pinpoint the exact location of the break. Then on 2/24/25, you called in stating you had replaced the valve (not cut and capped), and were still experiencing water loss, which you believed to be coming from the spa. Our leak detection warranty is for 30 days, your call was nearly 2 months after the 30 day warranty had expired. A new leak detection appointment was scheduled and we returned on 3/4/25 to find the source of your water loss. During this visit it was determine between the base of the dolphin statue fountain and the pool shelf it was leaking. As we were there to find leaks, the technician patched the base of the dolphin statue until he ran out of product, he then advised the gentleman onsite he would need to return the the next day to complete the temporary patch. We were NOT told to stop the patching, remove the patching, or not to return. So we returned as promised to complete the patching to mitigate your water loss until which time you could find a contractor who worked on fountains. The excessive amount of patch required and the return trip, were performed at no additional cost to you. Then on 3/24/25 you called in stating "your fountain was not working correctly," there was no mention of any water loss, just that the dolphins were not working correctly. We explained your previous appointments were for leak detection, not to fix the functionality of your fountain, and we had done all we could to stop any water loss in your pool/spa. Your concern was not water loss but the functionality of your fountain, thus the leak detection warranty did not apply. We have a video from our very first appointment, that clearly shows the fountain without proper flow. Your attached photos also supports this, as it clearly shows mineral deposits running down the chin and belly of the dolphins, which occurs over a long period of time when the water does not freely shoot out of the mouths. IF the pool had still been losing water, we would have returned under your leak detection warranty, however that was not the reason for your call. We feel we successful in stopping your water loss, as your review you makes no mention of water loss being the problem nor did your call. We do specialize in finding leaks, and agree with your advise, that if you need to find someone to work on fountains, hire a fountain professional.
We will continue to strive for 100% customer satisfaction and wish you all the best.Review fromL. F.

1 starI spoke to the manager and explained the leak that initially was just at the skimmer. Months later another leak occurred in the pool. During my explanation, the manager lost patience and became sarcastic. How can a company has such a manager so impatient? Bad professional signLeak Wizard Corporation

We are sorry to hear you did not have a positive experience during your initial phone call with our office. The phone records do indicate a 23 minute phone call with you, which we do not feel accurately represents impatient behavior. Our personnel are expected to be respectful, courteous, and never to be sarcastic to anyone. Proper protocols with how to deal with argumentative potential customers will be readdressed so as to avoid any confusion in the future. We do apologize we were unable to assist you and wish you all the best.L. F.

In approximate 10 mins of this talk, ****** said she no longer wanted to offer the services. She got irritated in the beginning when I repeated some information. I patiently explained the problem and she said it was better to find someone else. I was referred by someone and thought it could be just a bad attendant I asked for the manager and unfortunately she said she was the one!!! than I finally realized it was not a good company to deal with. I told her she was is the wrong position since patience and not combative discussion is required to listen to clients. I told her the epoxy is not a definite fix for cracked skimmer and rather use ABS plastic, and I guess she did not know and got irritatedReview fromHeather S

We apologize if you feel you received less than excellent service. The technician did perform a full leak detection and discovered a bond beam crack approximately 30 feet long. We do include courtesy patching on minor leaks while performing our leak detection, however a crack that is 30 feet long is not considered to be a minor leak and requires an extensive repair. We did quote to repair your crack, but you declined and your husband stated he was going to try and just patch it for now. We have called you twice since ************** was there and left voice messages requesting you call us back, yet we have not heard from you. In addition, the fee required for us to perform the leak detection, in which you understood and agreed to when your appointment was scheduled, has not been paid. We hope to hear from you, so we can further discuss your experience, and receive payment for services rendered.
As always, we will continue to strive for 100% customer satisfaction.Leak Wizard Corporation

1 starThis Company charged me $295 to find a leak in my poole and or spa. Did not do a thorough inspection. Then charged me $1,500 to repair 1 spa jet. Did not fix the problem, spa was still leaking after they left. Called the company back and they recommended we replace the valves and any check valves that might be needed. We did so at a $1,000 and the spa was still leaking. We were told not to be concerned that we had a WARRANTY. When the tech came out today he admitted he missed one of the jets in the initial inspection that was leaking then proceeded to tell me it would be an additional $1,200 to repair the second jet. We already invested $1,795 plus $1,000 into to new valves now the company wanted an additional $1,200 to fix a leak they missed the first time. We told the Tech we had a warranty, he said that it was for the first repair only. Not Happy With This Service. We were taken advantage of, I do not recommend a company that puts the customer last and their pocketbook first. Stay away from this company. I got "Wizzerded" out of $1,795 and my spa is still not fixed.Review fromSHEENNA N

1 starWorst customer service I've encountered in years. They charged us $300 to come and do a leak detection and repair and essentially left without fixing anything and already confirming what we told them - the leak is behind the pool-light and we had already puttied it once before. During the booking process it was explained we lost screens and were unable to keep the chlorine levels in the pool up due to the leak while also skimming debris out all the time (we have trees surrounding our pool cage and no screens from Hurricane ***). So, the technician arrived and stated he wouldn't work in the pool due to leaves and some Mustard Algae being on the bottom. He performs a sound test and determines it's behind the light (We know - we told you!) but refuses to get in the pool due to a potential ear infection (I guess we don't swim in ****************** or the Ocean?). Then we call them back out after having a professional company come and clean the pool. Before the technician has even started the repair the Leak Wizard front office is calling trying to collect $75 for a service call to actually fix the leak they said they would. The woman I spoke with said they were calling to confirm payment I said I'm not sure but you should still have my wife's card has the work been done? "No he just arrived" Ok well please call me back after it's been done for payment, I'm at work. Then an hour later we have a charge - on the wrong card and an invoice billed to us. No courtesy call stating the service was completed from the tech or the office, nothing. We have no idea if they even successfully repaired the patch, so when I called the office to complain, and I was extremely frustrated just for reference, the front office girl ******* or **************** don't which ones name decided to hang up on me because I was tee'd off that we were charged with absolutely no update on our pool! Absolutely unacceptable customer service and I can't in good confidence recommend their services to anyone.
