  I had a negative experience with Blackstone when my doctor ordered a sleep study. They shipped the study device in an unsecured box (no shipping tape) that was empty when it arrived. I was required to return the empty box before they would ship another one, delaying my healthcare. The second shipment arrived in another unsecured box. Further, they provided a report that included only one nights data rather than the two nights I was required to use the device. Customer service was of no help during this process and they were not willing to arrange a home pick-up of the second shipment, thus inconveniencing me twice by having to drop off both shipments at a UPS location. I have to question the practices of a company who ships medical devices in such a way. Their losses on these devices must be great. Perhaps their insurance reimbursement on lost devices is more profitable.

  My ENT ordered a sleep study, using Blackstone Medical Services, Tampa, FL. I received the lit. They expect you to take the test immediately and return the device. I asked for an extension and it was granted by Alina, the Blackstone Medical Services representative. I specifically asked if. I was charged a late fee. Alina said no. I returned the device on 10/14/25, and provided proof of the return. I did not receive a bill. I did not receive my results until 11/26/25. I contacted Blackstone 11/24/25. I was told I owed a $75 late fee! And that to receive my results I must pay the fee. But if I would pay only $45 immediately they would send my results immediately to my doctor. I believe this is a HIPPA VIOLATION. I paid $45.00, it was withdrawn from my account immediately. My results were not sent immediately as promised. I received a voicemail on 11/26/25 from my ENT with the results. So I waited between 10/14/25 until 11/26/25 for my test results. Only to be told on 11/24/25 that my results were withheld until I paid a reduced late fee. A late fee I should not have been charged to begin with. I will be filing a HIPPA complaint.

  These people are awful. My Dr referred me to them without me knowing who they picked. Blackstobe texted me initially and lied that all was in order with my insurance. I know they lied because I quickly called my insurance who no record of them and encouraged me not to use them. I then quickly Googled Blackstone Medical and realized that they are very shady. I responded to a text, STOP, which was an option. I then received at least 8 phone calls in one day. I didn’t answer because I refuse to give them my time let alone my business. They turbo called me at one point. 4 phone calls in a matter of a minute. I just ignored an “unknown” number today, which now makes two weeks since initial contact, only to get call from their Tampa number 1 second after.   My doctor sent me in a referral for this place and after seeing all the bad reviews, I called to try to cancel the order. The first agent I spoke with fought me and then hung up. I called again and the second agent argued with me for 10 minutes, even vaguely threatening me with reporting me to my doctor for not doing the test. I told him that I would be reporting THEM to my doctor for their behavior. I told him in no uncertain terms to cancel and he said he would. We shall see. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!

  SCAM SCAM SCAM. One star is far too generous...told me my insurance had a prior authorization, collected payment. After speaking with my insurance - it turns out there was no prior authorization sent. Called back within minutes to get a refund and was refused a refund because the device "already shipped"

  Blackstone medical services messed up their billing to Medicare and had their claim for payment denied. They expected me to pay them $329. I had to send an appeal to Medicare. When Medicare paid their share Blackstone medical services immediately contacted me telling me that I still owed them the balance. I have secondary insurance that covers all balance due. These people just tried their darndest to get any money out of me that they could. They need to revamp their billing department and get their coding people in line.

  Blackstone Medical Services, LLC says I took a Sleep Test on March 9, 2024, at home, and that I owe them $80. Their Text says they will send me my test results when I pay them. I don't know where they will get the Test results, since I never had an In Home Sleep Apnea Test. I received their text on October 20, 2025.

  On Tuesday 10/2 Beware- This place is so disrespectful. I was at work in a meeting when the guy here proceeded to call me non stop back to back. After about the 5th call I had to excuse myself and step into the hallway just to tell them I was in a meeting. After I explained I have to go he then caught attitude saying it will only take three minutes. I hung up and went back into my meeting. No lie 10 minutes later he calls me AGAIN!!! I had to place my phone on silent. By the time end of the day I had 17 missed calls and 1 text message. When I finally got back home I received another call and because of the disrespect and unprofessional attitude they have I told the guy Im not doing to do it and hung up. Friday comes around and the guy there calls me again with a complete LIE!!!! He tells me I know you said you didnt want to do the study but (LIE 1) your doctor called asking for the results. Then after he said that he tried to tell me that i will receive my machine next week. I pointed out that if my doctors office called for results how could that be possible. It takes time to receive the stuff do the study and send it back. (LIE 2) He doubles down on lie one and I also have to explain that I have already spoken to the doctors office and told them I not doing it. (LIE 3) After finally understanding I've caught him in lies he then tells me he has only been with the company for 1 week and proceeds to give me this sad story and how he needs his job. Where was that concern for my job when I was in a meeting. Where was that concern when you proceeded to call me non stop. My job matters too! Well guess what I dont care just like you didnt care. I hung up on him because one thing you will not do is lie to me and then think Im stupid. Sorry you cant have my money!!!

  Interaction Felt Fraudulent and Sketchy! Very unnerving! I was asked questions like what your DOB and how much do you weight ? whats my height. Supposed for ring size??? For a sleep study Why did your doctor order a sleep study? Claims they ran my insurance - but its out of network. I owe 325$. I was told my insurance had been ran and yet I see no claim and no attempts to run my insurance! No denial no claim no refusal whatsoever! Total waste of time. I feel like someone now has my PHI! I donot recommend the service of Blackstone Medical Group - I feel the need to protect my private information, somehow I felt this as soon as I ended the call.
