    I have been a customer with ADT for two years now 18 months and it is the biggest regret. I am throwing away money to a company that does not even provide home security the way they should. The reason why I purchased ADT is because my home is broken into and as a single mother of three children you become desperate I don’t live in the Best area and so I wanted a little something to help reassure my children at night that we were safe I needed an extra safety blanket for us and that’s where AT&T came in or where I thought they did. about 4 to 6 months after purchasing their products which I got a doorbell cam a camera in the front of my house and a camera in the back of my house the issues started. First, it started with my front camera and my back camera shutting off, mind you these are hardwired in so they will not die even though I would get an error message on the app saying battery died or battery low, so they send a tech out come to find out the technician that originally installed the cameras installed them with two small wire and so it burnt out the cameras, not only that but he left a copper wire exposed, which is a fire hazard and you know what that technician had to say yeah sorry those guys only work by the job so they’re not really here for quality. They’re here for a check which really ****** me off. then they give you a counter tablet with this you can control the system disarm it if you’d like I’ve already had that replaced. oh but wait there’s more I have eight windows in my home. The alarms would randomly go off on my windows. was told again by a third technician they gave you old batteries. oh wait it doesn’t end there not only was I give an old batteries, but the window windows were input into the system incorrectly so when they had to come out again, they couldn’t find which window was actually having the issue and so they had to completely wipe the system and reroute my home again. 18 months later nothing has changed. I WANT OUT! THEY ARE A SCAM

    ADT has rude, non-customer service representatives only looking for their next payday on the next sale. I would give ZERO stars if possible.
    Manager "La Trisha" is cold and needs to be reprimanded.

    I opened an account with adt on the 9th of June. I was needing smoke detectors for a business. The csr talked me in to ordering some of their other products. I was told by the rep and tech that I had 30days to cancel. The next day I called customer service due to issues with the alarm disconnecting itself, which was resolved. After I was transferred to speak to someone about service charges. With this being a business smoke detector had to be serviced once a year and I needed the pricing for that. Reason being I had seen that I was charged $910 for installation of 5 smoke detectors, 3camera’s and a door knob. The smoke detectors were not hard wire just regular smoke detectors. I thought that was kinda high! So I just wanted to be sure that I would not be paying a similar price to service. Especially since I was already having issues. I was told for a tech to come out to service was $120 every 30mins and $120 every 15mins after. The other option give them $90 up front, an extra $10 month with a flat $120 when the come out no matter the time frame. I told the rep to allow me time to think on it. Called back on June 16th and told them I will like to keep everything I have and send back the smoke detectors. That I needed something more reliable. Due to the business would not be able to run without them.
    I was then told that, I only had 3days to cancel because the equipment was installed by a tech.
    Which was never mentioned by the csr or tech but was told 30 days. BEWARE YOU HAVE 3 DAYS TO CANCEL AND NOT 30DAYS!!!!

    I have had horrible experience with ADT, poor integrity, verbal promises and commitment.
