We did not refuse to call in the final inspection until the job was paid in full. That is absolutely not true. The final inspection was called in months ago and did not pass due to an issue with the bolts. That was immediately corrected . Over the last couple of months we have tried to contact this customer on many, many occasions via phone and e-mail to make sure that the permit was still outside so that we could recall the final inspection but not one single time did we have the courtesy of a return call.
We were recently informed by ************************** that this permit was going to expire within 60 days so we had a duplicate permit issued and took it out to the property. It was put inside the lanai so it wouldn't blow away and the inspection was recalled.
It has since passed final inspection and we sent the customer an invoice for the outstanding amount of $300.00
There was no bullying involved just a request for payment. Also we didn't enter the home at all. The paperwork was left on the outside patio.
The only communication we have had with this person is this message from you today, which was most likely in response to a certified letter that was mailed out yesterday Other than that he has completely ignored every attempt we've made to contact him
