      December 23, 2023, I entered personal phone, address and credit card information to purchase a Flemings Steakhouse gift card as a Christmas gift. The gift card cost $100 and it was supposed to come with a $20 bonus/promotional e-card with purchase. The gift was supposed to be sent quickly, with a simultaneous confirmation to me (as the purchaser) that the recipient had received it, as is the nature of purchasing online gift cards. I waited a long time and still did not receive confirmation for my ********* Steakhouse Online Gift-Card Order: #********. I tried repeatedly to phone their customer service number ************** only to encounter very long hold times. I tried from two different telephones, and each time requested a callback that never came (to either number). Later in the day, I received an email saying that my order couldnt be processed and would be canceled. Further, it stated that I must not attempt the transaction again without contacting customer service. I finally got through to **************** and received a vague explanation about how their automated system could not verify the information I had entered. I wanted to know what specific information was causing the issue because everything was truthful, and the credit card gets paid off every month, so there would be no issue with the card. In fact, I called my card company and they said the transaction had not even been presented to them. I contacted Flemings by email and got further vague responses that forewarned me that I should not try the transaction again, but that my card may show a charge for the purchase! Something seems very suspicious and I am concerned for identity theft or fraudulent use of my card.

      Regarding the error message you're receiving, it can be the result of numerous factors. Sometimes the information is entered incorrectly when initially when filling out the form. Unfortunately, once it is entered incorrectly,the purchaser is required to clear their caches/cookies to successfully purchase.This is required to protect our loyal customers from fraudulent purchasers attempting to use stolen information. However, we understand it could be frustrating on your end.

      Instructions on how to clear cookies are attached as a file. 

      Please let me know if you have any questions about this process. Once you have cleared your cache, please attempt to re-purchase and manually enter your information.

      Hello BBB,First off, I enjoy eating at the restaurants represented by Bloomin Brands. I received a ***** gift card to Flemings steakhouse. I was excited to try this restaurant, as I had never been to one prior. This was a gift from my in-laws who live in *********. Unfortunately, the Middleton Flemings has closed. The next closest restaurant is over 3 hours away. I was excited at the idea of using the gift card at another bloomin brands restaurant (tons of outbacks in our area). However, I called the restaurant and this gift card was only good for Flemings. I have been attempting to contact customer service regarding this, but have had no luck in getting a response. Im hoping to exchange this gift card for a gift card that can be used at any bloomin brand restaurant. Thank you so much!

      We are sorry you are contacting us under such unfortunate circumstances. We understand there are some things that are beyond our customers control and will do our best to assist you.

      Most of our gift cards can be used across all our brands- Outback, Carrabbas, Bonefish Grill, and Flemings; but some may be exclusive to one brand.  The best way to identify this is if all four of our logos are displayed on the back of the card. If you still are unsure, please provide me with the 19-digit gift card number located on the back of the card, and I would be happy to further assist. 

      If you do not have a location of your exclusive gift card, please provide a front and back image or the 19-digit gift card number located on the back of the card for us to transfer to a multi-branded gift card that can be redeemable at all our brands!
