  BBB researched the corporate name Shoppes of Sheldon, LLC., this is a legitimate shopping center. When contacted, the shopping centers management said they recently heard of this website claiming to be the name and address of their Corporation and said they have NO affiliation or ownership with this website = www.sheldonshoppes.com
  
  Consumers have submitted multiple BBB Scam Tracker entries/complaints about sheldonshoppes.com detailing its suspect conduct.
  
  Sheldonshoppes.com has a pattern of issues from consumers claiming that they collect credit card information to place fraudulent charges at a later date.
  
  The business address is for a UPS Store.
  
  Per information in our files, BBB does not believe that sheldonshoppes.com is an actual business and has stolen the identity of Shoppes of Sheldon, LLC.
  
  The website was created on 1/10/2021 and no ownership information is available.
  
  BBB has received the following Scam Tracker Reports/complaints on this business.
  
  "Sheldon Shoppes, LLC is a fake business that has a legitimate-looking website, products, and payment portal, but will steal your credit card information and place fraudulent charges at a later date. They use the purchase amount to determine how much of a fraudulent charge they can get away with. We placed an order for a children's toy and received a legitimate-looking confirmation. A few hours later, we received an order cancellation and full refund. Two weeks later our credit card was compromised with an unauthorized charge that was quite large. We know with 100% accuracy that this website was the reason our card was stolen. Other online reports back up this case."
  
  
  "This company/ website looks legitimate but the address is the address of a UPS store, the phone number is always busy and there is a thread online on Reddit of people having the same experience with this business than I had. I ordered from them an item that is out of stock due to Covid everywhere else and was surprised they had it. My order was canceled the next day with the explanation that their bank canceled my order. However, my card is fine and in fact, a brand new card because we detected fraud on our previous one, recently. A chat option did not generate a chat and my attempt to email them was not successful either. I am just getting pre-generated answers. Please, look into this. I highly suspect that they are gathering credit card information only."

  The phone number doesn't pull up any sort of business. Google maps street view doesn't show any business at that location called Shoppes of Sheldon. I was able to confirm it was registered in Jan of this year, only up for 46 days, has switched IP addresses 3 times since it's been live, and is currently hosted by Godaddy. All the registrant info is godaddy info which means they pay for a privacy protection option so the persons name is not public. The location of the server says California but I don't think that means anything with a godaddy host, again I know nothing."
