In May 2025, I signed up for a free event called Thrive with **** *******. I donated a dollar to feed hungry people and due to work I was unable to attend this event. Fast forward to present when I realized that my credit card was charged on June 9 and July 9 for $50.76 for a program called Mastermind which I had never signed up for. When I emailed to request that these charges be removed and explained that I never signed up for the program. I was told that I had received an email about the program and since I hadnt responded to the email they had enrolled me in the program. This makes absolutely no sense to me since I should be opting into programming that I pay for as opposed to having to look at emails from an organization I dont know in my spam folder. I was told my money could not be refunded, but I was welcome to use the resources in the program until my subscription ran out. To me this is bad business, basically a scam, and fraudulent behavior. I have had to cancel my credit card and create fraud cases in the hopes that I retrieve my money. Shame on **** *******, shame on all his counterparts and employees. May they reap what they sow.Initial Complaint

Now I know where these guys get their millions - they're stealing from us.Shame on them! Totally by accident I found out that these guys withdrew 47 bucks yesterday without my knowledge. I didn't sign up for any trial subscriptions, nothing like that. They found out the card number when I participated in their THRIVE event. At the time they said my dollar would go to help those in need, but what they really wanted was not my dollar, but my card number.Their live support is nothing more than a picture that you can try to click on and nothing will happen, they don't respond to emails in any way. If I don't get a refund for all the withdrawals I will be initiating a police investigation through the bank. If I don't get my money back, I may prevent future charges and stop their undeserved THRIVE...Initial Complaint

I purchased the Roadtrip content package created by ************************************* in partnership with Mastermind. Its a content package of videos + a workbook that customers get to utilize + keep in perpetuity. Buried + hidden within this product is a recurring monthly charge of $47, for other products. The terms of this recurring charge are buried, hidden, & misleading. As well, to get consumers to purchase, there is a strong pitch for the customer support buyers will receive. I reached out to customer support to cancel this recurring monthly charge as Im dealing with a family emergency / crisis, + have no time to partake in whatever this $47 / month is about, + I wasnt ready for it in the first place. Only the course that was the main focus of their pitch. They need to respect the time patrons have to give their products. I only have bandwidth for the one course I purchased, my 1st purchase with the company: Roadtrip by *************************************. I reached out via email to get these monthly fees to cease, + they did not get back to me prior to the next autocharge + now they are saying that I cannot be refunded. They have given me a massive runaround, have not answered emails, when they do answer emails they ignore what I wrote + just tried to talk me in to staying at $47/month. I found this whole thing very misleading, the customer support anything but that. I also feel like I now have to go through the hassle of canceling my credit card for fear that this company is going to continue to charge my card, and has conveyed no interest in providing real and actual customer service and satisfaction as they pitch that they do. I am requesting a full refund of every monthly charge of $47 this Mastermind company has charged me while leveraging the good reputation of *************************************. I believe it is currently at 2 months / $94, but I need to doublecheck that they havent pulled any other funds from my credit card. This has been a misleading and highly disappointing experience.Initial Complaint

On 7/24/23, I received an email saying my credit card was charged $47 by Mastermind.com. I immediately emailed them (same day 7/24/23) to let them know I didn't want the subscription because I had only signed up for the ************************************* Roadtrip course, and that I probably missed their notification because my sister just died on 7/21/23. All the emails I have received back since then say they CAN'T refund my money. Clearly, they could if they wanted to, but they are simply refusing to do so. I tried to post this to their FB account but doubt the moderator will approve it:Mastermind.com has taken all the joy out of my Roadtrip experience and I'm having a hard time fathoming why they are so dispassionate to their members. I signed up for *******'s course and was loving it, but the customer experience I've had with ************************** has clouded it over with big business greed.I appreciate that they are running a business for profit, I really do. But I contacted them the very day that the 90 days ran out when they charged my credit card for the monthly subscription that I never wanted. I also explained that I probably missed their notification because my sister died and I am managing all the affairs of the estate, not a small task, let me just tell you. I will be happy to share her will and death certificate if proof would make any difference. For a company that is all about empowering people to be their better selves, I would have thought they would have some empathy. But alas, they are just another big business with no real concern for the people they profess to serve. If refunding me my $47 would mean they go out of business, then I guess they need it more than I do.One very disappointed customer,***********************Initial Complaint

Mastermind is trying to charge me twice to my bank card and has been emailing me to two separate accounts. I have requested the second account to be canceled and they promised it was canceled 3 months ago, but I received an email today stating they will be charging me after the 3 month trial when I already am paying through another email on the same card. They are trying to charge me twice and they have not resolved this issue. The email states they will be charging by June 6, 2023. I have been a member of Mastermind since August of 2022 and this extra charge is unnecessary and inappropriate. They have already said this was resolved and it clearly is not. I will have to contact my bank and file a complaint there as well and request a stop payment, but I don't want them to stop the original payment as I am still a member. A second payment needs to be voided, and if it is charged I will need a refund. This does not make me feel good about Mastermind and in the future I will no longer be referring any of my friends to them.Initial Complaint

************************************* hosted a freeseminar today that was advertised as a one time only, free event. Many of ** paid $47 to ask a question but most didnt get to do that because they overbooked it. It was advertised that the $47 would get you in a zoom room with MM but in reality, he barely spoke and only answered a few questions. The interesting thing is this was run by Master Mind. The entire thing was like a cult and extremely cringey and a scam. I was embarrassed for him when they played laugh tracks and canned applause. I would be curious to know why an Oscar ****** and successful actor/author would sink so low as to target and take advantage of desperate people seeking guidance in this difficult economy. Its also worth noting, the session was an infomercial for another motivational package hes shilling for another couple hundred dollars. I was charged $47 to watch a 6 hour long infomercial. I believe I was scammed and Id like a refund but there is nobody to contact from that company.
