    Alert:
BBB has received the following submissions to BBB Scam Tracker: (1) I was contacted by this supposedly luxury real estate company, which turned out to be fraudulent /scam. I had my doubts about this company when I looked for the company on social media outlets or anything that showed some type of advertisement or events displaying what the culture of the company was like and what their accomplishments were and their back story. There was no sign of people on the website, but I figured fine they have reviews and testimonials from people?! Hillensquare.com is a fake luxury real estate website. The email I received from them stated that they found my resume on a job website but they didn't state what website it was, they had me doing real state assistant work or what I assumed was real estate assistant work and promised compensation of $2900 bi-weekly. This sounds good I thought but it wasn't good at all just to good to be true! They showed legit looking work documents that were copy written and everything, they even have a website but its a dead-end street one way in and no way to get out or to really get in contact with anyone from the company but one person. Amanda Smith who would claim to be the general manager, but how can you be a general manager if your hiring for a real estate assistant, wouldn't you be the Real estate agent looking for an assistant?! (2) This "company" sent me an email stating they were interested in my employment based off my resume. Since I was looking for remote employment, I had applied to many companies. HR Manager Amanda Smith reached out to me, I sent in 4 attachments for the application, we did a brief phone interview, I completed a week worth of "Tasks/Assignments" and everything seemed to be easy and great. Almost too good to be true.... And it was. One day Amanda corresponded with me on WhatsApp with full details on how I was to electronically receive money from a client, take my percentage then make a cash deposit into the company's bank account. At that point I knew my intuition had been on point & that something just wasn't right. After asking follow up questions, Amanda Smith just stopped responding. These folks were really clever in their strategies. I should've been more aware and alert while researching their "home office," website, founders & social media. I'm not sure what they wanted from me. Maybe they were into money laundering. I just thank GOD it didn't go any further. I hate wasting time but it beats imprisonment & fines for illegal activities. Hopefully this helps save people heartache. (3) I was contacted Amanda Smith from Hillensquare on 11/18/20, this supposedly luxury real estate company for a position of Realtor Assistant. Amanda stated that they found my resume on a job website but they didn't state what website it was. I looked for the company and found their website www.hillensquare.com. On 11/19/20 I submitted a signed Employment Agreement(Contract) and Confidentiality Agreement with my Texas Drivers License. On 11/20/20 I was informed that I passed my background check )in less than 24 hours, that should have been a sign). On 11/23/20 I began doing various Real Estate tasks looking for various properties etc. and did so until 11/27/20. On 11/27/20 after doing work tasks, what I assumed was real estate assistant work and promised compensation of $2900 bi-weekly for Amanda Smith from11/23/20-11/27/20 I did further research after having conversations with family and friends who thought this might be a scam. There was absolutely no sign of people displaying what the culture of the company was like and what their accomplishments were and their back story. There was information about awards won, number of projects completed, number customers happy - all false. I searched for both Hillensquare and Amanda Smith with Hillensquare on social media outlets or anything that showed some type of advertisement or events. Absolutely nothing was found. I then went to scamadvisor.com/check-website/hillensquare.com and found that the domain had only been in existence since 10/1/20 and that all of the information about the owner/location/etc. about the domain and company were hidden by a tactic of WhoIsGuard provided by the domain name registrar NAMECHEAP.com. Hillensquare.com is a fake luxury real estate website. This sounds good I believed, and I signed the contract. But today 11/27/20 after I did my further research I sent a very long email to Amanda Smith who would claimed to be the general manager about my findings along with saying if they were a legitimate company then they should be able to pay me for the 32 hours I had already worked as a show of good faith. They have not responded nor do I expect them to. Do not be a fool like I was, I now will have to watch out for any type of Identity theft because I provided my drivers license and my direct deposit information to them. (4) Hillensquare real estate brokerage company is soliciting on-line with a fake real estate website with no licenses. They offered me a position with this fake real estate website, and ask for my passport and ID for Identity theft. Hillensquare has NO real estate license in the state of Florida. Amanda Smith (viviana cojak) the hiring manager is the only employee and the Hillensquare claims to have 30 offices in USA with just a home address listed on the website as 401 S 12 th street, 22 floor, Tampa Florida 33602. The website & company are under Amanda Smith (viviana cojak) -linkden profile are all fake to lure victims into providing their personal infomation for real estate purchases and employment fraud.
