I utilized A-Plus Affordable Moving Solutions' same-day service and spoke with an agent about everything it would entail. - The customer service agent I spoke to told me that all of my furniture would be shrink-wrapped to protect it. However, the movers who came in a U-Haul truck did not shrink wrap anything during the moving process. I assumed they may do it in the truck but that was not done either. They also did not wear masks contrary to the description on the Google landing page. My office desk legs were completely broken, my dining table legs have scratches on them, and my mattress/box frame was soiled with dirt stains due to not being covered. At one point I was asked if I had an Allen wrench or screwdriver during the moving process. Because they did not have one, they struggled to squeeze my dining table in my new apartment's doorway. After a while, they told me they would have to come back to complete the job since they needed an Allen wrench to break the table down and get it in. This confirmed that the company did not even equip the movers with the necessary tools to properly handle my furniture. The bare minimum I desired was at least for them to honor their liability insurance for my broken office desk (even though there were additional damages to the other furniture moved). I find it both unprofessional and disappointing that as a customer I received no responses to an email. - Ironically, I am sure I will have attempts to contact me now however, it's meaningless if I do not receive some sort of refund/credits for the damages, underwhelming service, and inconvenience this experience created. Since the company would not honor the contract and provide liability insurance for my furniture that was damaged, I will now file a formal complaint with the FMCSA.
